I know Bernando Silva is a great technician but quite unproductive as a No 10.
I don't know much about the other two but I guess they play in the attacking third.
However, what the team actually need is a visionary playmaker who's capable of pulling the string in the heart of our midfield and a productive right winger.
I doubt any of them fit the description.

Anyways why would u even want to compare Keepers with outfield players?? If u are a keeper(except if that keeper is Almunia), there's a high chance u ll peak and start playing well as u get older. But as an outfield player, if u're shít in ur old club, u might as well be shít in ur new club.

Jones at 22 bar the injuries was much better than this Bailly guy. And Varane right now is definitely better than Jones. He just no dey see shirt for Madrid na why.

Eediot, I never said City only needed Kroos and Gudogan. I stated that both players would improve their squad, especially their average ageing midfield.
However, City would still need a CB, LB, RB and RW except if Pep deemed Iheanacho good enough for the right wing.
And a good holding midfielder because Pep loves his holding midfielder to not only be tactically sound, but technically good probably because he was one to begin with.

City had Zabaleta, Sagna, Clinchy, Kolarov, Fernandinho, Navas, Kompany, Yaya, Silva all above 30. Only Hart, AGuero, Otamendi, Debruyne and Sterling are below the 30 mark.
On the other hand, Inter had Chivu, Maicon, Sneidjer, Eto'o, Cambaisso, Motta, Caesar, Pandev who were all below 30 apart from Materrazzi, zannetti, Walter Samuel, Milito and Lucio.
Hence, while Inter had 8 quality players below the 30 belt, City had only 5 players, of which only Aguero, Debruyne and Hart to some extent could be regard as quality.
ALso, my point is Dayo implied that the City squad is full of ageing players but you cleverly countered by bringing up Inter, Chelsea and Juve team which managed to reach the final in spite of their old guards however, you forgot that those aforementioned teams could boast of good number of quality players in their prime mixed with the old guards whereas City had few quality players in their prime.
The point is, in order to manage an ageing team, it needs some quality fresh legs as well to compensate for the constant intensity in every matches.
The likes of Kompany, Silva and maybe Zabaleta are still quite good but they would require quality fresh legs in the team to operate at the optimum level. That was what Juve did with Pirlo by having the likes of Marchiso, Vidal and Pogba alongside him to compensate for his ageing leg in the midfield. Or Bonnuci to partner Chielleni in the central defence.
So was the Inter team which had a midfield in its prime consisting of Sneidjer, Cambaisso and Motta. A prime Chivu to partner Lucio and the pacy Eto'o and Pandev to flank Milito in attack although Milito was no slouch in the speed department.
The thought that City's ageing team could have gone ahead to win the league after their extended campaign in the CL and Carling cup is beyond reasoning.
AS a matter of fact, they have expended much of their energy during the process of winning the league last season. They couldn't have gone any further without the added quality fresh legs, which they quite did by signing De Bruyne who's been mostly injured. Even then, DeBruyne wasn't enough. They still need at least 5-6 players in that first team just like ours.

City may have more quality players than us but they aren't far above us, which was the basis of the argument.

And then he wait around to see if few quality players would suddenly become available in his second year.
But unlike what he's used to, our squad is just too shite to work with.

City would likely improve their squad with the likes of Gundogan, Kroos coming into the midfield, Arsenal would always be in the top 4 and would even do better with the signing of Kante, Xhaka and a quality striker in the team, Spurs' young team are likely to grow from strength to strength and Chelsea would likely improve further.
Even Pool would keep roaring their ugly head with Klopp in charge and with their excellent attack of Sturridge, Coutinho and Firmino, they just needed a good central midfielder to support them and a good defence.
We have no quality apart from De gea and Shaw (both won't offer enough in the attack for us though) Martial and a potential in Rashford.

Let's see what Jose would do with the shite sqaud.
