Why is Dede1 always bitter? Hope he wont carry bitterness to his grave like Achebe |
What religion does Chinua Achebe practice when he was alive? |
'Overjoy' by Stevie Wonder. That song bring back memories of my childhood days in d 80s and gladden my heart when I overcome obstacles. |
Slimyem |
Why is Dede1 always a bitter man? |
365 is my number (private line) by King Sunny Ade. |
Love to hear Slimyen. |
Mimiko, d best Guvnor in s/west. "Ise logun ise", I'm very proud to be from Ondo state. |
Dele Momodu use to be prominent in Nigeria social circle and also a political commentator and critic. But for some time he has been silent and sort of hibernating, can we know what he is up to now, or he dey" sidon look"? |
@shollypopz, thanks for those links, but not totally conclusive. |
I wonder what could be the meaning of the name in yoruba as the same name is borne by some tribe in the north especially hausa. Please, who knows the meaning? |

Please anyone tell me d highest official from southwest in GEJ current dispensation in order protocol that reflect national balance. Thanks |
I've really miss both guys. I look forward to read from them, their contributions always enlighten topics. Does anybody know whats happening? Thanks. |
Even Akokos in Edo claim yoruba heritage and it shows in their names and other traditions. During border adjustment in early days of Obasanjo admin, they prefer to be in Ondo state. |
I am only interested in their cultural history. I'm from Ondo state but want to know much about them, they claim to originate from Ile-ife. |
Hello Nlanders, can anybody enlighten me on the history of the Akoko people of Ondo state and part of Edo state? I only know them to be part of Yoruba tribe and that they speak multiple language. Also apart from language, their tradition is similar to that of Ekiti people. Please, who can educate us? |
Front page please, let's share our positive dream of Nigeria. At least, these can give hope in this trying time, thanks Mod. |
I have a dream, that one day Nigeria will be peaceful and great. One day there will be widespread infrastructural development, free healthcare and free education for all. One day there will be enough and varieties of food for all and Nigerians will be their brothers n sisters keeper. Patriotism and mutual love will flow among all ethnic groups and tribe, no more boko haram, massob, opc, egbesu boys. Alhaji and beaf and dede1 will enbrace and share palmwine with roasted antelope. I have a dream my dream will come to pass in this generation, thank you all NLANDERS. |
Even though I dont agree with most of ur post but I really trip for u on this poem. I'm also from Ondo, I am flabberwhelmed. |
Why should Okonjo Iweala intervene in her behalf? |
I will recommend that all of Nairalander should read 'THE STATE OF AFRICA' by Martin Meredith to have more insight into africa problems and what can be done to alleviate the situation. I hope all of you can get and read the book it's an eye opener. |
Their is nothin like 'Bad Garri' you can only have 'Good Garri' and 'Very Good Garri'. |
I'll like to read comments from Beaf and other PDP appologist. |
Juventus, the true Giant of Seria A. All Juve fans, happy win |
My other half is Miss Rokiatu. I love her, she can call on 08055356763 |
There was nothin like Nigeria durin Dan Fodio's time. May his prayer be answered on the hausa/fulani so that they go their separate way and live we southerner alone. They're parasite |
It is a pity and millions are wallowing in abject poverty |
Point of correction: 90% of those are hausa/fulani are children. I do go to Ibadan and had confirmed it. Many igbo enjoyed Awolowo free education those days. |
Fortunately, many igbo got educated thru Awolowo free education policy. I can testify to that, but I wonder d igbos are ingrate |
