This business is far more profitable than driving keke napep 100 times. Keke fit frustrate you to the point wey, you no go get money to buy basic things wey who dey employed, suppose fit buy for himself. Unless say na new keke. You go dey work for mechanic. And money to buy new keke you for use am do treasury bill. How many years you wan drive the keke before you recover your capital of N4.1 million? Meanwhile solar no dey spoil. Only that thing is it's a high risk business because the phones can get stolen. Na only money for store rent you go dey work for. I read the previous stupid comments above me, that they wrote on this topic/thread. Somebody above said it's a poor man business. But the business he suggested is not any better than charging of phone business. Any idiot discouraging people from doing this business is a suspect. It's not a billionaire or even millionaire business, but it's something that you can earn a reliable source of income from |

At this point, I think it's time for Nigeria's name to be changed to "Suffer-Head Republic'. Like nothing is working in the country. Suffer-Head Republic (formerly called Nigeria) has succeeded in changing it's national anthem which it had been using for over 60 years. So what is the only thing left? It's name. Like the country's wahala and economic hardship is too much. Please my people, my fellow netizins and nairalanders let's stop referring to Nigeria as "Nigeria". From now on let's all start refering to Nigeria as "Suffer-Head Republic". Like petrol is N1,400/litre... 1 dollar is also roughly this same amount. And there's no light or good roads. And what about unemployment and insecurity? Let's not even go there. Now how many Suffer-Head Republicans can boast of having over $200 in their bank account? I'm very sure over 70% of Suffer-Head Republicans don't, because of the poor exchange rate of our currency. Eswatini (another fellow african country), were formerly called Swaziland before they changed their name to Eswatini. And what about Netherlands? They were formerly called Holland before they changed their name to Netherlands. I say again... my people, my fellow nairalanders and netizins let's all stop referring to Nigeria as "Nigeria". From hence forth, please let's always refer to Nigeria as "Suffer-Head Republic". Thanks and God bless you as you read |
It's a shame no one up there has been able to advice you properly. That car is worth 1 million maximum. And I say 1 million, because naira itself is a shity currency. Honestly speaking, I could have said 500K. I know the kind of car you can buy with that same money that will make you look like someone working in NNPC or Shell but you're not going to give me anything for my professional advice so I'll keep it to myself. That car I would have shown you... any girl you stop while you're inside, she will run inside asap. Those same girls that "don't give their numbers to strangers". It's the same kind of cars yahoo boys drive but I'm not going to say it here, cause what's my own gain if I do? In summary, don't buy the car because it looks like a toy ora scrap for that amount. I'm sorry to say. Engine is clean, car is clean too but the car looks cheap |
"I was able to predict these draws and win ₦234,699 using the "family tree" theorem. The theorem is saying that if 2 teams that are evenly matched (and want to play against each other today), have drawn before or at least have drawn with someone who has also drawn with someone before, then they are supposed to draw again today. 31K which I won on sunday november 30, is not included. If I add the 31K, my total winnings between november 30 and december 1st will be 265K or 266K" Link to the youtube video in question: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxXDVFW27sU |
They keep "misbehaving", playing hard to get until they start clocking their 30's and 40's. By that time, it's the leftovers that come their way as suitors. Another thing is a woman who is not doing well for herself, shouldn't expect to wind up with a man working in NNPC. Because like attracts like |

It no longer has value like I said in my previous post on NL. No wonder no one is excited over a hundred thousand naira win anymore, because 100K is about USD$68 or so |

Please stop feeding the people with fake news. Thank God I was old enough to know that naira was NEVER N20 to a dollar as at 1997/1998. I remember it being somewhere around N90 to a dollar. You can also confirm from this website: https://www.cbn.gov.ng/intops/exchratepolicy.html#:~:text=The%20rate%20depreciated%20continuously%20to,%2C%201998%20and%201999%2C%20respectively. |
As of August 31, 2025, $1 (USD) is worth N1,534 Nigerian Naira. This means that 50% or more of Nigerians don't have up to $100 in their bank account. And yes bread winners and working class people are included in the statistics above. If you doubt me, lets do the math together. How much is minimum wage? N70,000 which most companies don't even pay. Instead many jobs pay N40,000 monthly (barman, fuel attendant, sales girl and so on). And that same N70,000 is worth $45. I remember back in 2011, from the money my parents used to give me for biscuit, within 5 months I was able to pay for something online worth $400 (then N64,000). And I wasn't even working or doing anything self. Now even working class people can't even offord that same $400. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, hmm... who is that man self?! I beg someone should go to Aso Rock and beg him to resign. If you know him, I beg help me to beg him to resign when next you see him. He honestly doesn't know what he has done to the economy of Nigeria by devaluing our money. As a Nigerian, there are many things you will not be able to afford online because of the exchange rate. I have experienced this several times. With things I used to be able to afford. I no longer go to Udemy for online courses because of the exchange rate. I no longer hire freelancers to do things for me. The other day, someone told me to bring $50 so he could write a program for me in Python but I couldn't. Only thing I could tell him was that he won't understand. That in my country, $100 dollars is like $1,000. I no longer shop on Amazon because of the exchange rate, just to mention a few. In USA, I heard a haircut costs $50. In England, I heard a haircut also costs £50. The whole thing is a kind of economic relativity like Einstein's relativity in physics, only that this one has to do with currency conversion |
Those of you who are insulting him for committing suicide I feel sorry for you because you don't know what you are doing. Do you think it's normal (or easy) for somebody to kill himself? At the beginning of this post on page 1, a random person said he is hungry that they should transfer money to him. Did anybody answer him or even quote his comment? Later they will tell people to reach out when they are feeling suicidal. Reach out to who, I ask? When people around you don't give a damn and even if you tell them you want to kill yourself they will end up laughing at you and talking about you behind your back (that you want to kill yourself) and they won't help you last last Another thing I hate hearing is "as Nigeria is hard for you it is also hard for everybody". Nigeria is happening to some people more than others. Some people after finishing from university and no work, they have relatives that help them... even though they don't have money they can eat 4 or 5 square meals a day plus other minor benefits like free clothes, free data, accommodation and so on. While there is another category again, those that come from rich homes... their relatives give them money and employ them in their family company after university so they don't lack anything. While there is another category again that have none of the above and are left to fend for themselves (they learnt a trade when they were children but didn't go to university). Again while some people that fend for themselves didn't learn a trade or skill (iron bending, mechanic, barbing and so on) when they were children and still don't have anybody to help them... maybe their father and/or mother died when they were small. It is this class of people that suffer the most. So Nigeria is not hard for everybody to the same degree |
Thanks for the comments. Instead of Poland I wanted to write Austria. I didnt see light to charge my phone until now because of the nationwide protest so I couldn't edit what I posted initially. My phone offed after posting it yesterday. And yes it's Benin city, Edo State I wanted to write. There has not been light from Isihor down to Oluku for 10 months now and nothing is being said or done about it |
Before I begin let me first start by saying I am fully in support of the "peaceful" protest that started on August 1st 2024. Nothing in the country is working and there is untold hardship which is why people are not happy. Anyway any good protest should have a leader and a sponsor. If you remember WWII, Adolf Hitler was Germany's Fuhrer (and leader) during the war. Germany indirectly started WWII by invading Poland. And what about these terrorist guys in the Middle East, they always have sponsors (like Osama Bin Laden) that give them free airplanes to wreck havoc. If you remember September 11, 2001 when somebody drove an airplane into world trade center. By now somebody should have driven an airplane into Aso Rock instead of blocking the road and making the common man sir at home for 10 days. These politicians are abroad enjoying while we sit in darkness with no electricity. OK now that we haven't had light in my area for 10 months, how am I going to be charging my phones? We are not owing and the transformers are good but nobody is sure where the problem is going from. Some say it's the grid, others say it's the feeders. An entire local government area or two in Benin city Edo State, have been kept in darkness for 10 months. It's the first time in over 15 years that something like this has happened in my area. NEPA are waiting for us to use our money to bring back the light. So NEPA want us to contribute like 100 million naira to repair whatever spoilt, then they will come and draw us for light bill at the end abi? God punish Nigeria. Anyway that is another kettle of fish and talk for another day. Again it is not a bad idea if somebody places an artificial satellite to block the sun for 10 days during this protest, thereby creating an artificial eclipse of the sun in Nigeria for 10 days straight. But such kind of protest will cost millions of dollars. Where are our Nigerian celebraties? Especially those ones that like to write songs about how they have so much money in their bank account. I am sorry to bring them in but they could have been the ones to sponsor this protest. So in essence, these are the 2 things that are lacking in this protest which is why the protest is not going to be effective enough to change bad governance. Anyway we pray it does |

Barbing is not that easy to learn. Most of these people who you sign agreement with in hope of receiving tutorials on how to barb will NEVER do it. It is better if you carry out research on your own i.e by watching multiple videos on the internet on how to barb. Your teacher will just tell you to watch him without explaining anything to you. And it will affect you greatly especially when it comes to blending of hair. You will see him increasing the lever and reducing it multiple times but he will NEVER say a word to you. He will tell you to watch and study what he is doing. Sometimes if you are lucky and try to ask him he will answer you well but most times he will embarrass you. It happened to me. I learnt how to barb for 1 or 2 months under this harsh conditions above before I took excuse and abandoned the training. Until I left, I didn't even how how to barb skin cut (abolo), which is the simplest haircut to barb a customer. I will advice you (or your friend) to go for tiling whether barbing is more lucrative or not. Tiling might be easier to learn and more straight forward |

Apart from the match on friday night and the early kickoff on saturday morning, the remaining 8 out of 10 teams played draw. Even Inter Milan that should have crushed Cagliari based on their current form played a draw with Cagliari, who had about 12 odds or so to win the match. What are your thoughts on this development? |
The lesson I learnt from the whole story is this... on january 1st, if somebody told Junior Pope that he was going to die in a boat accident in April this year, while shooting a movie he won't believe the person. The person will look like his enemy for saying such a thing... but that is exactly what happened. Truely no one knows tomorrow and/or the day or manner he will die |
APC, you people met dollars at N460 and now you are celebrating that it "has fallen" to N1,120. You should be ashamed of yourselves. It is not even N1,120 as they claim, check Google and confirm... dollar is N1,242 right now. To those of you who say Google is lying... Google cannot lie. It's the same Google we use to do our assignment in school and to find home remedies for diabetes, stroke and the likes |
Jashub:N30,000 that people use to fill their tanks with petrol in filling station. I don't advice anybody to take a job that pays less than N60,000 in this harsh economy. And that N60,000 is if the person is single (not yet married). How much is self contained apartment? Is it not N250,000/year. How much was it in Jonathan's time? Was it not N35,000/year. How much is Indomie? Superpack size of Indomie that was N50 that time is N500 now. How much is plastic bottle of Pepsi, is it not N400? Pepsi that we were buying N130 or so in Jonathan's time |
After going through a recruitment website in Nigeria, I noticed that the salary they always write is N20,000 to N30,000. Some of them managed to write N30,000 to N40,000. Now I said to myself, these people that are offering these ridiculous salaries, are they not living in this country? Don't they know that life is no longer the way it was in the time of Jonathan were a bag of rice was about N8,000? Anyway let me direct my question to the house, can you do a job of N30,000 in this harsh economy? Because personally I spend N6,000 on food alone everyday (morning, afternoon and evening)... other expenses are not included like transportation. In my local government (and some portions of the next local government) we have not had light for 8 months so cooking and putting in the fridge is not an option. Warming it everyday isn't either because it will go bad after some time. So can you do a job of N30,000 a month and/or will you advice somebody to take that kind of job? |
Nigerian government please read the handwriting on the wall: Mene mene tekkel upharsin. God that made a donkey to talk to Balam is still alive and well oh |
"Meme meme tekkel upharsin" |
1 month from now we will start feeling the heat, when traders go to market to replace old stock. That popular tiny groundnut, go turn N100. Everything will now be times 2. That means black market will be going for N2,000/dollar very soon. So 1 piece of paper, $100, is now equal to a big bundle of money N147,000. I don't fear or admire anybody that sprays naira at a party. If you want to show that you have money, abeg spray in dollars |
