ASTHMA GETS BETTER IN PREGNANCY.... YOU WILL HARDLY HAVE ATTACKS. 1) She needs to keep an active lifestyle when pregnant, like slow walking on a field or dust free road. 2)Try not to offend her, when she gets extremely angry or overly excited, it can trigger the asthma, 3) She should tell the doctors and nurses at every appointment that she is asthmatic, keep on reminding them 4) avoid taking medication anyhow cos most asthma is allergic.... Example, she should avoid medicines like ibuprofen 5) you need to go to a good hospital when she wants to deliver incase she needs oxygen - don't be afraid, it's just precautions, I am asthmatic so my clinic always refer me to a gynecologist in a big hospital with facilities, I have never needed oxygen though but my doctor said pain can cause you to panic and make it difficult to breath. Good morning house. Please advice me. OK so, this Christmas my husband didn't give me a dime, not one naira, he went shopping for groceries by himself and kept at home, on the 14th I told him I needed to make my hair, he said he will give me the money the next day, I waited and finally made my hair myself. I can't remember the year I got a gift from him, we have four kids, the annoying part of it is he didn't buy a piece of cloth for the kids, I begged him to at least take them out but he refused. He sent money to people to look good, thing is I know where he keeps his money but I can't dare touch it, I lost it yesterday and told him if he didn't have I will understand but he is just showing me wickedness. I told him I was tired of the marriage I am stressing too much, everything I own I got them myself. Its like I am just a baby making machine and house help / cook. All my clothes are bad, old yet he is not bothered. 1 Like |

Heebah:Stop being bitter, if you were the one that laboured for hours and then you finally gave birth vaginally, won't you be thankful? I am not against CS, as a matter of fact I requested for one but was denied one. It would have been double pain to be in hard labour for hours and then end up feeling after operation pains again 4 Likes |

Hi everyone. Pls help a sister o When I was pregnant with baby No 1, he stayed for 43 weeks, had to be induced, the pains were extremely painful laboured for 15hours of constant pain. Thank God I delivered through VB. Now with baby No 2 am 39 weeks. I read somewhere that once you have been induced before that you will likely be induced to go into labour again. Pls how true is this? Mothers pls share your experiences too. Thank you all |

Shared as received... I have been married for 5 years and when I met my husband , he had nothing. Then during my birthdays all he does is pray for me. I knew he had nothing so I never made a fuss about it. Now we are married and living comfortably, he has never bought me a birthday present, never celebrated our wedding anniversary. I even have to be announcing it for weeks , use it on my profile etc. I even beg him to take me to dinner on such occasions but he will make a mockery face at me and tell me to be waiting. The day will come and go. Its quite painful cos I feel unappreciated. Even the prayers too he has stopped them. Pls help me fams, what should I do |

Asthma is a very manageable illness. I AM ASTHMATIC, I AM MARRIED WITH CHILDREN, I DELIVERED THEM NORMALLY WITHOUT COMPLICATIONS AND NO SPECIAL PROVISION WAS MADE. ASTHMATIC PATIENTS DONT GET ATTACKS WHEN PREGNANT. MY HUSBAND TAKES CARE OF ME, HE LOVES ME EVEN WITH THE ASTHMA. I LIVE A VERY NORMAL LIFE. IF I DONT TELL YOU, YOU WILL NEVER KNOW. INITIALLY, WHEN WE GOT MARRIED, WE DIVIDED HOUSE CHORES, I ARRANGE THE HOUSE, SITTING ROOM, BEDROOMS, I DO DISHES WHILE HE BRUSHES THE RUG BECAUSE OF DUST, HE LIKES FRIED BEANS SO I BOIL IT WHEN ITS TIME TO FRY THE OIL HE DOES IT, WE AVOIDED ANYTHING THAT MIGHT UPSET ME. but today its improved, I do all the above mentioned chores now, I hardly use an inhaler, I haven't used one in over 5 months. Prepare to be thrown out of that house" she hung up Sometimes i ask myself if it was wise to confess to my husband but days like these, I am grateful I did. It was better he heard it from me, of he had found out, I don't know what he would have done. I have learnt some lessons in my young life, the first is, never leave your partner for a long time alone, another, never leave two people of the opposite sex in a house together for long( affection grows) I also learnt that infidelity is a foolish thing, its not worth you loosing your marriage over, secrets destroy marriage, also in marriage communication is key. As a married person be careful of the single friends you keep( not all are bad anyways), for us ladies, pride is an ugly garment to wear in marriage, submission is a timeless piece. And not forgetting prayer, it can pull you out of every dark situation. |
