Firstly, avoid any money lodgement that does not reflect your average income or have an untraceable source.

Secondly, there is a standard requirement for each study permit applicant which is the equivalent of your first year tuition + first year living expenses in the amount of 10,000CAD. Do your conversions and then you will estimate how much of naira will be sufficient.

Lastly, it is now NOT enough to show funds in naira equivalent.Study permit applicants have been greeted with a recent development from IRCC making sure funds are aready in canada or assurances from your financial institution that required funds will be exported to canada. This is now the reality towards an application being approved.

So give consideration to the above stated and get guidance.

from my calculation her tuition fee plus living expenses should be around #4.3mil so she is good to go. secondly she needs to include her statement of account as well

It is risky to lodge me into the account , you will be denied on the account of insufficient fund

But if you have CAC certificate to back it up...

You have to look for another sponsor that has good financial strength and will be ready to give you sufficient documents for your application. I don't think there is anyone on this forum that can act as your sponsor. Also, try to avoid agents that claim they can help you and they will provide statement of account for you.
Since your school resumes in September, you should try to get a new sponsor before the end of May because 'time is going'.

it's not compulsory to pay tuition before applying but it gives the vo the assurance that u are capable (especially if it's a 3rd party that's paying the tuition). for the funds required it will be atleast cad18k (8k for tuition + cad10k living expenses ) and that's about #4.3mil (1cad=#240).... so in all u will need atleast #4mil for everything. u can ask ur boss to act as ur wife's sponsor or co-sponsor so as to reduce the financial load on u (since ur closing balance is #3mil) but he will have to give reasons why he wants to sponsor her (since they aren't related )

how much is her tuition fee? it will be better of u can convince ur boss to act as her sponsor while u act as co-sponsor, but he shouldn't use the company's name or account to sponsor her as that will need a very convincing letter of support from the company stating why they want to spend so much on ur wife (who is their staff ) and what will be the company's benefits when she graduates. try and convince him to act as her sponsor or better still pay some of the cash into her account to show commitment while u pay her tuition fee from ur account . that's what I think sha. gurus in the house, over to u

A i have been volunteering in different organisation such as the UN and clinton so i got letters from them to show i have been doing some volunteer work with them. And the same applies to the the church and community.. i do community service and then i got the local office to write me a letter and then for the church am a choir leader for the youth in my church and i teach the young ones on there choir therefore i got a letter from my pastor.. oooo, have not check the online application so I guess that's why I didn't know about the check list and study plan and as for the volunteer I could get one from my community...me self dey usefull small for area... As for the Study plan i wrote it in form of question and answer. When you check your checklist there those 6 questions they ask. So i wrote it in that form. And i did not type i did handwriten.. tho its best you type.. because of handwriting.

I applied on 8th march, got medical mail on 23rd march. Did medical on 27 march. Passed medical on 7 april. approved on 19 april

And these are the documents i submitted

1. Application for a study permit made outside canada (IMM 1294)
2.Family information (IMM 5645)
3. 2 passport photos
4. Concent of verificatiob of documents form
5.copy of bio data page
6. letter of acceptance and receipt of fees paid for one year 14,000cad dollars
7.4 Pages study plan handwritten in form of question and answer as they appear on the checklist
8.Transcripts from the last school i attended
9 Copies of bank statement for the past 3 months with a closing balance of 325,600 us dollars.
10.Letter from sponspor indicating i will inherite one of the land when i come back and why i deserve to be given the study permit.
11.tax documents and family company documents.
12. 2 Land titles certified by a lawyer.
13. My birth certificate
14. 2 Volunteer letters from 2 different NGOz
15. A volunteer letter from my church
16. A volunteer letter from my community

just like I said both routes are ok, but if the documents u want to submit are much it's less streefyl to use paper route. I am to resume in September as well and I am yet to apply . aspa her name on her credentials that's not an issue cos I want to believe she got married after school, so ur wedding certificate will clear that part.
