PoliticsRe: Police Kill One, Injure Many In Kogi Protest by whirlwind7(m): 7:52pm On Jan 12, 2012
The unrestrained use of live ammunition against protesters need to be urgently addressed. What sort of chaotic society do we live in? The IGP should rein in his men immediately, before the police become another focus of this turbulent period. sad angry angry

PoliticsRe: Keeping Them Honest: List Of Gej Campaign Promise(no Fuel Subsidy) by whirlwind7(m): 1:16pm On Jan 02, 2012
When i heard him make that idiotic promise of building airports in states that have none, it confirmed my fears that the man was a lame duck. Do yáll know that Ibadan has an airport which has gone into disuse over the years? I mean, what good would new airports do, when even the existing ones had been left to rot? As big as Ibadan is, you'd think an airport sited there would be one of the busiest in the country. Pray, tell me, what good would an airport serve in some villages across the country, when they are not needed? angry angry angry

RomanceRe: Who Says Women Dont Ever Pay On Dates? by whirlwind7(m): 4:11pm On Nov 12, 2011
slimyem:
I find it offensive that men always think it's all about the money paid on the date. The costs are far more than that. When a man asks me on a date, he plans to wear the same shirt and trousers he probably wore last week. With the same shoes, run a comb through his hair, buys some petrol and he's ready for the date. With women, it's different. When a guy asks me out, regimes need to be followed. If it's a good week, a facial. Then my hair, a manicure and a pedicure. I have to think of a dress to wear, If I don't have one, I have to buy one. And fashion in Lagos is an expensive hobby. There are shoes to consider and a purse big enough to hold my phone and lipstick. By the time I'm ready for that date or a night out, I've probably spent twice what he'll spend for the whole night. Who said girls never pay? That's a blatant lie from the pits of hell!!!
You sure can lie/exaggerate o! shocked shocked shocked

Must everybody live in Lagos? Why not go back to his village and start farming? Lagos ko, Eko ni, mschewwwww
you probably didn't read the full post, the part he said he doesn't know where he hails from cos he was born and raised in Lagos. Of course, that is something disgusting from a full-blooded man. Giving financial aid would be just a temporary relief. He is probably not educated, and didn't bother to acquire any form of vocational skill. That is reprehensible for someone who was born and bred in a city such as Lagos, where survival is for the fit, AND HE IS FIT! It is easy to feel sympathy for him, but pity can only go such a long way. He needs to get his shit together and be a real father to his child and a husband to his wife. ACQUIRE A SKILL THAT CAN EARN A DECENT LIVING! The services of carpenters, cobblers, tailors, electricians, plumbers, auto mechanics and the likes are always in demand. I can only conclude that he is lazy, clueless, or both. Maybe unlucky? Well, everyone makes his own luck and creates chances for himself.

What rushhuh U wont bother with all this noise if, indeed, there is a rush for the property. U still refused to give adequate info, like asking price, pics of the area, etc. Get your acts together, man.
RomanceRe: The Importance Of Eye Contact by whirlwind7(m): 8:37pm On Nov 09, 2011
There are certain cultures where maintaining eye contact is a sign of disrespect. This is common in some asian countries. in those places, you have to lower your gaze and even stoop slightly (if the younger person is taller) when greeting or having a brief discussion. As for maintaining eye contact being a criterion for judging who's honest and sincere, this is could backfire in certain climes, cos i know about seasoned criminals who are aware of this, and have perfected the strategy of looking you straight in the eye while they take you for fool's ride grin
PoliticsRe: How Many Nl Witnessed The Civil War (1967 - 1970)? by whirlwind7(m): 11:32am On Nov 07, 2011
Wasn't born before the war. Fact is, i came to this world about a decade after the war ended. However, the few tales about suffering and death told to me by my grandparents are enuf to make me cringe at the mention of warfare. What happened during that era shouldn't be treated with levity. If the proper moves are not made to set this country on the path to recovery, im afraid we might have to replay that disastrous era, just to give proper definition to what a nation ought to be.

PropertiesRe: Here Is A Good Investment On Land- Now Selling Plots In Good Estates In Ikorodu by whirlwind7(m): 6:28pm On Oct 27, 2011
I am interested in buying, but your post was very frugal with relevant information, such as the available deeds/ titles covering the properties. Pictures (If available) will also help. This will show you are in a serious mood to sell, which in turn puts me in a more serious mood to buy wink.
