Hello, Tadeus. I have been following ur posts, and im seriously thinking abt getting a 2002 mitsubishi gallant. by first week of june. How much should i budget for this? Awaiting your response. Thanks |
Two days ago, i got an email from someone who identified herself as Lowrta Bugiba, asking me to respond to her mail, that she's interested in being friends, she's got something important she needed to inform me, bla bla bla. She also admitted that she got my email address from nairaland. I am aware of such scam mails. I felt irritated, and just ignored it. Was a bit surprised though, because the email address she sent this to wasn't same as the one i used on nairaland. Barely 24hrs later, I got yet another mail, this time from someone who identified herself as Joy Mara. Same bull$hit as the other one one, but with a subtle hint that she's white (The first one claimed to be from west Africa) This second mailer also made reference to Nairaland. So, this is a heads up for ya'll. Ignore such mails pls. They are nuthin but frauds. I dont even have the time to string them along, making them feel like i'm taking the bait. |
After ensuring that it's own home front has been secured, Big Brother Nigeria is going to deploy troops to Mali and Guinea by May 18 http://www.punchng.com/news/nigeria-to-send-soldiers-to-guinea-bissau/ Nigeria is set to deploy troops in Guinea Bissau this week, according to Minister of Defence, Dr. Bello Mohammed. Mohammed said this while addressing the 30th meeting of the Committee of ECOWAS Chiefs of Defence Staff in Abuja on Monday. According to him, the Nigerian troops will complement the one battalion of military peace-keepers which the Economic Community of West Africa is sending to Guinea Bissau. He said, “We are committed to the pledges made by Nigeria for the Guinea Bissau and Mali Missions and our troops are ready. For Guinea Bissau, we will deploy troops before the 18th of this month.” The minister said ECOWAS had yet to take a decision on whether it would send troops to another troubled member state, Mali. He said, “As you know our sub-region is plagued with challenges of insecurity and also instability in some of the countries. “The CDS (Chiefs of Defence Staff) are here to discuss how the intervention of ECOWAS will help to bring security and to stabilise the country where instability is rearing its head, this is on the instruction of the Head of States of the ECOWAS. “On Guinea Bissau, a decision is already made that a military contingent from the ECOWAS will be sent to assist the government in maintaining law and order. “Nigeria, as a leading member of ECOWAS, will participate when invited.” Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshall Oluseyi Petinrin, said the military was prepared for the assignment anytime an invitation was received. Petinrin said, “The decision to send troops will be made by government. Our job is to be prepared so that when they decide to deploy we will be ready.” Meanwhile, President Goodluck Jonathan has urged the defence chiefs to ensure that peace and security are sustained in the sub-region. He made the call when the Chiefs of Defence Staff in the sub-region paid him a visit at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. He said, “Though there are challenges in some areas, the stability of countries in the Economic Community of West African States sub-region is commendable.” Following respective coup d’états in Mali and Guinea Bissau, ECOWAS and other international organisations took steps to restore democratic order in both countries. ECOWAS imposed sanctions on the respective junta to ensure compliance to its protocols on zero tolerance for military rule. share |

The Law! Im hungrily devouring every morsel of info you are bringing up here. God bless u without measure! |
Nope. If u keep mum, just to see where it leads, do u think they will post any of their escapades on FB? I mean, if ur girl starts an affair eventually with ur "friend", the messages they'll send to each other on FB may not even betray the fact. Why keep on sending her romantic messages on FB, when they can physically meet while having an affair? Realise the fact that those messages will cease to appear the moment your friend "eats" that "thing" that's keeping him awake. I will confront him with it head on! better to nip any future embarrassment in the bud right now. I've been in a situation like that before. who needs such a friend anyways? |
Check out Mechatronic plaza at Ihama road, GRA in Benin. I attended a function there once. I think it's cool. Dont remember what number the building is, but u cant miss it. |
Yep, MyBrownJay summed it nicely. They are not professional models. The newspaper always asks for girls who think they are pretty enough to grace their page to send a photo. There are some really good looking ones, though. And no, it is no competition or a pageant, neither are they paid for it. Just your typical and average looking young females who wont mind their picture on the newspaper |
Well, why not? Sure, go ahead and report to her husband. You mentioned that he happened to be a general? A military officer, right? You will wish you had accepted his wife's "payment" when he's done whipping your a$$ |
@ Kobojunkie: You are so right on that point. |
Another hopeless case |
@190: Keep ur cool, bro. U know why them ladies are baring their fangs: cos u hit at the truth where it hurts them most. Still haven't seen any reasonable response frm them, though. #still waiting ![]() |
Since u didn't try to get in touch with her during the brief period, doesn't that imply you failed the test? So, you failed the test, and she still calls you, asking you to come back, ? Methinks you should send her fairytale chasing ass packing. Otherwise, you've got more drama waiting for u real soon |
Everyday i meet women from Ethiopia and Somalia. I must confess they produce the most uniquely beautiful female specimen ever! Their appearance is a delicate blend of negroid and arabic features that will simply blow you off your socks! Omo meeehn!!! |
Didn't know that our judicial system has suddenly become efficient at speedily prosecuting cases ![]() |

Didn't know u can loose something u never had in the first place ![]() |
In Nigeria, the more things change, the more they go back to being the same. Recycle the old and unproductive parasites. That's the PDP mantra. |
U can have a trusted person to act as a go-between at first?? ultimately, u will have to meet her urself. From the response u are going to get from ur emissary, (who might have hinted her abt ur speech challenge) U can then decide how u want ur meeting to be, n u will have more confident knowing she is not averse to ur predicament. Best of luck. BTW: U should've heard abt speech therapists? watch the movie "The King's Speech" This will motivate u! ![]() |
victorazy:Your response just shows how dumb and ignorant you are. |
Johnpaul2k2:You are such an a##hole. Here is an event which occured in lagos 10 yrs ago, and affected every tribe residing there. Now, tell me what's wrong if it was brought to your retarded awareness that relatives of victims would be given a token by the govt? BTW, i am not Yoruba. |
Toktee:Wonder where you got your education and enlightenment from, ![]() |
The police are always quick to present all and any sort of horse s##t. I wonder if any sane person ever pay attention to their rubbish |
