***Chapter 4 (continued) *****

Richard's POV

I got ready to go Skylar house. Even though I am powerful I can't afford to sleep in the house all alone. I don't know how to control my power yet so I can't afford to fight with supernatural beings. I was able to lock my sensitive ears to be normal ones. I can't afford to be quiet to nonsense. Why will I be hearing moans from the next house and still have the ability to control myself. I told my mom about it and she just laugh at me telling me to control my powers. She was true powers don't control real men but they control powers. I thought of the possible way to stop it. I tried speaking to it but I did not work. I almost gave up but somehow I got the answer. I focused myself to my powers and I just began to see them like a long list. What was inside the list I won't tell you but you will know as the story goes on. I scrolled down and saw something like ears and just clicked at it. I heard my name been called so I got distracted. I opened my eyes to see my mother surprised and shocked. She said what happened and I just told her what was going on before she emerge and spoilt everything. She said I was glowing few moments ago and my eyes we're glowing sky blue. (Let forget about that and come back to the story). I got ready and we left for her place. We got to a spot and Skylar told me this was were she saw the shadow. Something was off about this place but I couldn't place a hand on it. We continued walking but we stop when heard the rustling of leaves close to us. I look around but couldn't find anybody. I looked at Skylar and saw fear in her eyes. I was scared too but didn't shoe it. I don't know what is after me. As we we're about to take a step forward we got surrounded by 8 guys putting on black.

Jake's OV

I need my revenge quickly and fastly. Time is not by my side. The suspension is almost over and I got no reason not to go to school. My parent won't even let me be at home. They were furious when they lent about my suspension and even stop giving me money and food for the first one week of my stay at home. That the more reason he must pay. One one dare us and go free. Even if he took down all of is at the school don't mean he has the ability to beat us again. We will carry our guns so that if I've tries any nonsense we will just gun him down. He is even dating my crush. Somebody tell me why will I not kill. I sent one if my boys to be monitoring him and he had been very productive. He had just given us the information that we needed. Richard's POV
i was suprised, worried and scared. Suprised because i never expected to see Skylar at my door at that time again. I have already concluded that she did not want to see me again and was even planning how to send another letter and maybe with flowers to her before i slept off. Worried because of how she was panting which means she was running and i could not phathom why she was running was what made me more worried. The way she rushed inside after i have open the gate added to my worry. I looked outside to see the reason why she was running but i saw nothing. I was scared that it might be that she was been pursued and the realization that her pursuer might be out there now made me close the gate very fast. I some how felt that this run was connected to the stalker. I asked why she was running but she just looked at me and went inside the house. I followed her in asking questions all the way but she behave as if she didnt hear me and just walked straight to the refrigerator and took a bottle of water after which she asked for a glass cup. Then it was dawn to me that she must be tasty and i became ashamed of my coriusity I went to get the glass cup which i gave to her and after she drank her fill i took it from her and apologised profusely for my mistake. I came back and she told me that after reading my letter she decided to come over my place but on the way she held hurried footstep following her but when she could not find anybody she just shrugged it of. but after some time she was a shadow of a man just above her so ran with all her might all the way here. That just made my observation right i said in my mind or so i thought only to here Skylar which observation. I told her that we were been followed right from school that why i forgot the date. I was to busy trying to know who is following us to remember we had a date. She was scared after i said that but i told her not to worry that i will get the person. I just need to plan the right right plan and volia we catch the stalker.

Susan's POV

Richard didn't wait for me to catch my breath before bombarding me with questions. I just ingnored his question and went inside to get chilled water from the refrigerator. As Richard saw the water in my hands he became sorry for not even giving me a cup of water before bombarding me with his questions. I asked for a glass cup which he brought to me with sorry eyes. After i finished drinking the water he apologised to me and i just laugh it off. I told him what happened on my way here and some how i expected him to laugh at me but he just said that makes my observations right in a muttered speech which made me believed he never wanted me to hear that but nonetheless i have heard it so i asked which observation. He said we were been followed right from school and that was why he didn't remember the date. I was shocked and scared. Our lives are in danger and i was hthere thinking about a fucking date. What if had went to the date and something bad happened to Richard (because i know it was him they are after not me) i wpoul never had forgiven myself. He saw my worried face and told me not to worry that he has a plan. How can he tame a stalker by himself is what i don;t understand. His courage this days is very much high and it has been like that since he beat Jake. I wanted to call the cops but he stopped me saying it will make his plan futile as the stalker nwill get to know the cops are involved and will hide himself. I don't know what to say so i just nodded in agreement. I was hungry so i asked for something to eat and he went to the kitchen to bring me food. I opened the food to see my dad favourite soup and starch to follow. I ate it with so much passion because i knew Richard prepared it. The food tasted delicious and i must say Richard is good at the food. As i was eating Richard mom called that she will not be home that night because of a patient she was attending to. The patient was undergoing cs and the case is critical so she has to be there. I saw Richard's face frown but he could not anything to change the fact that his mom will not be home that night. After i finished eating and was about to leave i saw Richard face change to a frown. In as much as i wanted to stay i couldn't because my mom won't tolurate it. I knew he will be lonely after i left so i suggested he followed me home to which he agreed. He took his night wear and locked all the doors and the gate. We set off to my home but along the line something happened to which i wished we had stayed at Richard's place.

Susan Pov

I was angry with Richard for making the fool out of me this afternoon. I would have accepted it if he had told me he had no money with him than rather behave childishly in trying to evade it. The fact that he evaded the chance of walking with him home is what made me angry the most. He sure don't know how i love that walk with him. The feeling is just so amazing. I loves the way he makes me laugh at his silly jokes. i shuddered at the thought of it. I thought he loves me and even confirmed it when he asked for a date. But i am doubting that too. How can somebody who you love do that to you. I was emotionally broke down by the fact that he could not even at least defend himself when i asked that question. It just proved that he was guilty of the accusation. When i could bear to look at his face without slapping i ran off crying. I so love him God knows and i was sure that he loves me too but i am doubting that right now. I couldn't eat that afternoon because i was so depressed and sad. I have not been i a relationship before and i have not been so drawn to someone before. Even at school i don't have friends not to talk of a male friend. Because of that i was tagged the witch by my classmate but only one person never called me that Richard. I thought i was because of he was afraid of me and the fact that everyone was scared of me because they always called me a witch in low voices or at my back. But i got to as of late that he did that because he loves me and that made me love him more. I slept off after crying of head off and woke up with a slitting headache. I got to the sitting room to meet the gate man coming in with a bunch of flower in his hands. I asked what are they for and he said they were for me and that Richard brought them. I took them from him and asked of Richard but he said he have gone home immediately. I got the feeling of throwing away the flowers immediately but instead i just dismissed the gate man and took them to my room. I dumped them on top my reading table and went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. While preparing the food i couldn't help but think about what Richard was doing now. Maybe he was watching films or playing games or sleeping. Mtcheeew that all what boys know how to do perfectly right. Maybe he was Probably cooking like me. He once told me he could cook. Since he was the only child and his mother does not want a househelp because of reasons best known to her he was forced to learn how to cook. His mom is nt always around because she is nurse so she goes to the hospital most times and sometimes in the evening. I would have loved if he was here with me watching me cook and make some funny remark about my cooking skills. He sure have created a throne in my heart. After i finished cooking i decided to go have a look of the flowers Richard bought for me. This guy sure knows how to get me. He just bought a combination of my favourite flowers rose,hibiscus,morning glory, sun flower and a blue rose. I was astounished that he could go extra mile just to please me. The flowers will cost nothing less than N3000 which i thought was wierd because a guy who could dodged a date because of lack of money could buy a flower worth N3000 in less than two hours. As a was about to put the flower back to the place something like a note fell from it. I took it up and it reads " i am sorry about the date. I was so busy about some shits that i didn't remembered that today was suppose to be our date. Please am sorry. I promise to take you on the date on Sunday. I love you. bye. Richard confessing his love for me. This is just Great. I could not contain the joy in me that moment. i was overflowed with joy. I took my phone to call him but the fifth ring he didnt picked i carefully did myself the good of going to his place. I told the gate man that i was going out to Richard place and that i might spend the night there. He just smiled and lock the gate after i left. Richard house was in the next street so walked there. On getting to the end of my street i had this feeling that am been followed but it just shrugged it off. But when i saw the shadow of a man walking close to me nodby told me i just took off my shoes before running straight to Richard house. I banged the gate and he came to open the gate with a sleepy, worried and suprised face.

Chapter three (continued)

I returned home feeling very happy. I prepared dinner of palm nuts or banga soup (got the ingredients from the market when returning from the market). I prepared the food with extra happiness and vigour. Actually banga soup is my best soup so I learnt how to prepare it well. Its the only soup that I can boast I can cook very well. I can cook melon or egusi soup and ogbono soup quiet well. When it comes to Fry's I beat average in preparing jollof rice but a master in frying beans. Well I finished cooking the soup an hour later ( it was ready at about 45 mins but I wanted it to thick up so I left it on fire for another 15 mins). After dropping the soup pot I brought out my equipments to prepare starch that I will use to eat the soup ( na that one sure pass). I prepared the starchbin less than 15 mins. I served myself and covered the remaining ones very well before taking my meal to the dining table. Mom said men don't eat in the kitchen (I be man nah). After eating I went to get my phone from expecting to see at least 5 missed calls from Skylar but to my dismay there was not even one. I was frustrated. Did my gift not reach her. But I trust that gate man nah. He must have given it to her. Or did she throw it away at first sight or what. I don't know what to think at that moment sef. As I was in my confused state my phone beeped to show a message have just came in. I almost throw my phone at the wall when I saw the content of the message. As if mtn knows about my delima and they want to add to it they took that time of all the time to send me message. Idiot network. I slumped into the sofa close by depressed and I didn't know when sleep took over me.... I was with Skylar in a beach looking over the horizon. I took some sand and poured it on her head. She looked at me mouth agape and I just gave her that "you can't do anything about it look". She bent down and took some sand but before she raised her head I was already some distant away from her. I stuck my tongue at her and that did it all. She came after me with so much vemon like someone who is possessed. After running around some minutes with her trying unsuccessfully to catch me I saw she was getting frustrated so I just fell on the ground. She came on top me and started bathing me with sand. When I could not take it again I started to tickle her. I tickle her until she begged me to stop. I turned her over so I was on top of her. There was a moment of tension between us. As our lip were about to meet I heard my ringtone. I looked at her and she told me to pick my call. I was reluctant at first but after she shouted I woke up from my sleep to see 5 missed calls from Skylar. As I was about to call her back I heard a bang at our gate. I went there to meet the shock of my life.

Chapter 3

I had this feeling that we were been followed anywhere but could could trace the stalker. The person is doing a great work i must say. I decided we are going to take the school bus home because of the feeling i was having. I told skylar we are using the school bus today and she just said okay but her facial expression said other wise. Well she didnt say anything i choose not to say anything about it too. Althrough the journey home she didnt say much unlike her. Even when i tried to initiate a chat with her, she will kill it with muttered responds. I got tired and stop talking too. We got to our bus stop and came down but instead of her waiting for me she just continued walking away. I called and told her to wait and she waited. When i asked what is the matter she just said if i didnt have money i should have told her and not did it this way. I became dumpfolded and confused. How could i have forgotten that we had a date immediately after school. No wonder she was acting weird in the bus. I called her but she just told me to get lost. I went home confused, fustrated and depressed. Mom already preparing for work when i got home. She saw my worried face but since she was in a hurry she told me my food is on the table and some money i should use to buy anything i need since she is not returning that night. (Mom is a nurse). On a normal day i will be happy i have the whole house to myself and play my PS to the fullest but i was too depressed to think about that. I had my bath and ate my food which happened to be my favourite, fried rice. While eating an idea struck my mind and plan to do it. I rushed my food, took my wallet and went to the mall to purchase some flowers. I wrote a small apology note and put it in the flower. I got to skylar's gate and pressed the bell and the gate man came outside. As soon as he saw me he told me to come inside but i declined. Giving him the flowers to help give to skylar i went back home hoping to recieve her call.

Immediately i got the class i recieve sheer from my class mates. I have become popular among my mates in just a hour i left home. It feels so cool to be powerful. Skylar came to hug me and i also receive hand shakes from some guys in the class. I was so happy. As for those goons of Jake i made sure i did not hit them in bad places so as not to damage their bodies. Throughout that day they could not raise their heads because of shame. oh how i love it that way,(their own self don reach). From that day me and Skylar became so close that people thought she was my girlfriend. Well i would love it if their thought was true though*winks*.
Skylar's POV
I was suprised to my elastic limits today. First of all Richard that have been avoiding me like a plague initiating a chat with me, then only Richard taking down all member of the Rovers. Amazing i would say. The most quiet boy in the class is the most strongest. But what baffles me most is why he allowed him self to be bullied all this years without fighting back. The principal got Jake suspended after he found out what happened in the class. His goons are just lucky not to be suspended with him. But i have this feeling that Jake got something on his mind that why he did not call his goons names too.Well when Richard got back to the class the whole class cheered him. The whole class except Jake's goons. I went and hug him immediately he entered and he also got some hand shakes from some of the guys. We became close after that day and people thought we were dating to which i wished it is true. We started coming to school together and going back together (coming with the school bus and strolling home)

Jake's POV
It has been one week since i got suspended because of that boy, that bastard well i will show him. I left my goons in school so as to monitor his movements and plan how to unleash my wrath on him. No on messes with the Rovers, no one. Well i got to know that he comes to school in the school bus and trek home with skylar. Well i got a plan and a very good one. We will lay wait at them when they are going home then i will have my revenge. Hahahahahahahahahaha

I got ready for school and walked to the dinning room. Mom prepared a delicious meal of fried egg and bread. I ate and ran to the bus stop to wait for the school bus. I was waiting for the school bus when I saw her. She was looking beautiful as ever. The girl I was crushing on since I saw her. Skylar Fidel is her name. She came and stand close to me and I was just looking at her. She greeted me good morning and i answered. We got along a little before the bus came and we went to school.

I was searching through my locker when they came. Some bunch of idiots who call themselves the rovers with their leader Jake Brian. He ask for his assignments that he gave me to do. (Well I was the most brilliant boy in my class and also the most bullied). I told him I didnt do it. He laughed and throw a punch at me. I saw coming in slow motion and caught it in mid air. I took hold of his hands and bend it to the back. He screamed in pains and his goons came to his aid. I took them out one by one. I was about to give him a finishing blow when I heard a voice the belongs to only one person the most feared person the all of Rayford high school. The principal. He called us to his office were I explained all that happened to him and he called for witnesses which also said what I said and he suspended Jake for 3 weeks.
