@Frosti if I remember correctly, you had plans for Bsc in any ICT related course. Really dont know if ICT is the same as Information technology. buh if it is, use this link http://studyinfinland.fi/what_to_study/study_programmes_database They are all taught in english and there are 28 courses to choose from.

Check these for ICT (if its different)

Artorius: Nice thread bro, even if I didn't get to read the former thread this is definitely impressive, and I'm not easily impressed. It's just so easy to picturesque what you're saying. Just update at your own pace, keep it up.
You should have read the previous ones! Sooo gud. This is too. Welcome.....join the moving train

Frosti: 'Bring the holy cane'

I guess I might have to start considering dropping my passion for ICT. Will start mailing the schools.

Thanks for your input.
If it really is a passion, you wudnt be so quick to drop it bro. A friend of mine wrotee jamb 7x not becos he failed, but because he wanted to study med surg but dey kept giving him other things.

What I'm trying to say in essence is that if its your passion, go for it no matter what it takes. Then learning wud be fun and not just another degree earning pursuit.

The tuition free stuff is still on...and bros no talk too much before dem comot am o grin
Undergraduate courses over there are 3 years I tink and if you can, den do it. You have two advantages, you have a chance to earn another degree with higher grades, and its easier to apply for a masters once you'r done. So in the whole, you shud be looking at 4 years. 5 tops to earn both a BSc and an MSc.

I sha hope say I correct cheesy cheesy cheesy

Frosti: Good morning house.

I have a unique situation/problem that I need your advice/input on. I have a Bsc in microbiology(3rd class) but I want to change into ICT for a PGD and then masters.

Please I would like to know schools that offer such. Pointers would be deeply appreciated. Hope I can get admission with my third class?

What are my chances of getting an admission and then visa into a uni in Finland?

Hmmmmm.... angry angry angry angry Eleyi gidi gaun grin grin grin I say this one is tough cheesy cheesy. Lol. No mind me o. Really cant answer that question. I think the best thing would be to find the school that is of interest to you and mail them telling them about your situation. They would surely be in a better position to answer. Do this while you wait for the godfathers here to answer or throw more light on it wink

So I also remember drinking liquid milk from d fridge. Dt one easy die! Just open the fridge, lift the paper wey dem use block d mouth, sip away and keep a straight and suprised face and say "it's not me oo" when they ask.

Powder milk and bournvita dey coba person dt time. Even if are not caught in the act, you will always make mistakes like getting it on ur face when dusting ur mouth with that same hand lol and it must surely touch your shirt. Problem is, you wont notice it but they will

My neighbour's son used to steal his mum's maggi cubes and sell it in school as choco milo.

zeb04: thanks so much for the detailed reply but are there schools that do not require these exams?
I doubt it. In other countries maybe
TravelRe: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by WhyNa: 7:28am On Jul 09, 2014
zeb04: Hello whyna....you mean you have to pay 30k to write IELTS exams nd who is the money paid too. I am a big novice so pardon me if my qstn dosnt sound right.
30k ke? I said 38 to 40k o. Let me break it down for you dear. ....

They said if you pay online, its 35k. Dont waste your time cos it wudnt go through. Believe me, I tried and tried and got annoyed.

The other option is to pay 38k via bank draft. Let me break it down for you.
You go to the bank and ask them to make a bank draft in favour of British Council for 38k.

The bank charges you 525 naira i.e if you have an account with them. If you go to bank you dnt have an account with, it 625.

When you get the bank draft, you have to submit it to the British Council in five working days. Thats all.

So 38,000 500 your trans both to the bank and to British Council office......39 to 40k

Cvesta: Which exam must i write n hw much is required of me if i wish 2study for a masters programme in finland?? How easy is getting part time work? Wat are d chances of gettin residence permit after expiriation of my programme?
Emm oga Cvesta U no dey greet? cheesy Anyways, let me answer the one I'm very sure of and leave the rest for the ogas at the top (might take a while for dem to come here but U can devote 30 mins to reading from page 0 cheesy I'm sure U will find all d answers)

What exam must I write.........TOEFL or IELTS.

How muxh is required of me if I wish to study in Finland......
Rough estimate.....
International passport (if you dont already own one)......between 9k to 18k

IELTS exam (dnt know bot TOEFL).......my brother keep 39k or 40 sef

Transcript money......depends on your school. My f**king school is collecting 35k from me.

If you succeed in getting admission, you will need to have insurance and that like 30k

You will also need to have at least 1.5mill in your account. I pray it doesnt increase.

For the part time work and residence permit tins, cnt really remember what the gurus said but I tink its possible.
