Lets go into social welfare (This is a place I am very aware if). The present administration has Brough succor to the internally displaced people IDP not just by dedicating more funds towards their welfare but by also raising awareness so other people can visit and help. For the first time we are seeing what is happening in these camps and people are waking up to try to help them and do their best to give something. These things raise hope in government and makes people aware that they still matter and not neglected.

I doubt you realize the role of the media in governance. People sometimes don't always need to see the government work but they need to see the government speak on media and they know they have leaders.

The President met the leaders of BBOGs and people saw it. These little things increase confidence in your government and tells then that the government is aware of your problems and agitations. You don't claim to work and sit down as some times, people just need you to talk to then.I doubt you even need to be told of the anti-corruption bodies allowed to do their work without interference. That is all too evident.

If you say the sudden increase in power is not an effect of the present administration, you need to look at things from the angle of it is a combination of both administrations but now we have discipline involved.

The Buhari government rode to government on the premise of zero tolerance on corruption. You see a situation where vandalisms has greatly reduced so the plants have no excuse to not to operate at maximum capacity. You have a situation where even the vandals know it is not business as usual and they are keeping away. This has led to Egbin producing 1GW which it has never done before

You claim that the present government does not have a blueprint but you have failed to see the current move by the government to cut its own expenditure and throw such back into projects.

Just last week, the VP(he is the coordinating minister for the economy too) started reviewing the agricultural policy of the nation to implement the campaign promise of the government maintaining price stability by buying the products from the farmers and then storing these products and releasing it to the markets. This on its own is going to create a high number of jobs because we are looking at the government ( investors) having to build storage and processing facilities. Since more than 50% of Nigeria's agricultural produce is lost due to storage, we are looking at a possible drop in price in produce and also guarantee income for the farmers.

Firstly, on the advantages of revoking a license which was duly and transparently issued, fine Mr. Buhari can decide to revoke these licenses just because they are not performing as expected but we should understand that there are rules, guidelines and procedures and consequences to follow before revoking licenses in a highly competitive and critical sector as the Power Sector; else they'll end up killing the confidence in the market and that erodes interest and the people will suffer for it. Why most people are aghast with this APC government especially someone like Mr. Buhari who has shown strong interests in becoming the President is because they appear not to know what they are in for. That's very important but what we have is just a standstill. Another was the promise of hitting the ground running. We are still on the ground. About to run but not running!

Is it not shameful that these APC fellows are claiming the gains - such as improved power supply across the country - of the previous administration as theirs? An administration of less than two months? As they made us to believe, supposing Mr. Jonathan left a comatose economy, why are the people not tensed? This government said there was virtually an empty treasury (by Mr. Buhari himself) but salaries are being paid at the Federal Levels and by some prudent resourceful States to their employees, Universities are still on, Hospitals and other Government institutions are still up and running. So why the unnecessary hype?

They should get working because they sure do have a lot to do, chiefly is removing the saw dust from their eyes.

Yes the President may mean well for us...at least in his heart...but the utterances from him most especially is conflicting, confusing and saddening. Come to think of it,

Did we hear or read or notice or observe Jonathan making scatting remarks about his predecessors or their actions, most especially the scam in Obasanjo's administration? The Halliburton Scandal? Even with the power sector collapse, the economic meltdown (God gave him wisdom there), the poor roads, the universities, the rice dumping (thank God for people like Adesina, the terrible security situation in the North East and rampart spate of kidnapping (yet we hosted the World Economic Forum and attracted huge FDI) and many others?

That is a leader who got the ground running!

Mr. Dele Momodu is just courting the King. He wants to tell his royal majesty that he is still in town and played a role in making Mr. Buhari, the King. He is just a court jester!
