We already have the infrastructure put in place by Jonathan...we simply need to win the war against vandalism(remember this is sabotage because such gas can't be harnessed by anybody including the vandals after bursting the pipe) and also sort out gas producers who prefer exporting gas than allowing such for domestic use thanks to profit margin...and Nigerians will have constant electricity...

Are we in military system?

Is our issue of federal character not recognized in our constitution?

Why would the north insist federal character be observed in something as unique as Presidential Scholarship that seeks to reward ONLY the BEST among EQUALS but not in such office as NSA?...

NSA is not headed by someone in active service so what's your point?

Lets go into social welfare (This is a place I am very aware if). The present administration has Brough succor to the internally displaced people IDP not just by dedicating more funds towards their welfare but by also raising awareness so other people can visit and help. For the first time we are seeing what is happening in these camps and people are waking up to try to help them and do their best to give something. These things raise hope in government and makes people aware that they still matter and not neglected.
You said here
I doubt you realize the role of the media in governance. People sometimes don't always need to see the government work but they need to see the government speak on media and they know they have leaders.
The VP visited the troops in the NE and it was on TV good
The President met the leaders of BBOGs and people saw it. These little things increase confidence in your government and tells then that the government is aware of your problems and agitations. You don't claim to work and sit down as some times, people just need you to talk to then.I doubt you even need to be told of the anti-corruption bodies allowed to do their work without interference. That is all too evident.
I am happy that you suddenly regained your sight after being blind under Jonathan...I have questions here too;

1)What was the brain behind Victim Support Fund, Safe School Initiative etc?...with billions of naira and dollars generated...

2)IDP camps existed before now...who fed them?...At whose expense was NEMA functioning?...Rehabilitation of Chibok and co were to what end?...Was any group at any point banned from extending favours to these people before now?...Did such generous gesture start post inauguration of buhari?...

3)To which extent does information dissemination become propaganda and hoodwinking people to the more you look the less you see?...

4)Outside Ohakim all EFCC cases are ongoing cases. Pre-May 29th lamido had immunity... Nyako ran away...these cases were inherited by buhari...And all I see is EFCC boss playing politics to keep his job with much hullabaloo and media noise and conviction... Which forces made Lamido to be retried in abuja and granted bail...while another court in kano had before now remanded him in prison till September...Since when did court of equal competence start upturning each others judgementhuh ...smh...; Dgrin

*Sips Lipton*

I wonder how the rating that 70% of the people are please will insult your sensibilities when the survey was done by NOI (Ngozi Okonjo Iweala who is in the opposition) polls....

Well I don't trust NOI polls either since they got the elections wrong but that's by the way.

If you say the sudden increase in power is not an effect of the present administration, you need to look at things from the angle of it is a combination of both administrations but now we have discipline involved.

The Buhari government rode to government on the premise of zero tolerance on corruption. You see a situation where vandalisms has greatly reduced so the plants have no excuse to not to operate at maximum capacity. You have a situation where even the vandals know it is not business as usual and they are keeping away. This has led to Egbin producing 1GW which it has never done before
I also laugh when people mention Kanji and water lever. If only they know how much power Kanji supplies.

This quote is kind of funny

You claim that the present government does not have a blueprint but you have failed to see the current move by the government to cut its own expenditure and throw such back into projects.

Just last week, the VP(he is the coordinating minister for the economy too) started reviewing the agricultural policy of the nation to implement the campaign promise of the government maintaining price stability by buying the products from the farmers and then storing these products and releasing it to the markets. This on its own is going to create a high number of jobs because we are looking at the government ( investors) having to build storage and processing facilities. Since more than 50% of Nigeria's agricultural produce is lost due to storage, we are looking at a possible drop in price in produce and also guarantee income for the farmers.
Plz can you show me how this your review story is a novel idea of this administration and different from the norm in the last administration given the number of silos they built to which even my state benefited?... All you said about agriculture above were done by Jonathan administration with visible results... so what new is buhaei bringing to the table?

Thanks for the mention...

1)Dele Momodu only said what a bihari supporter would have said...

2)If buhari knew what he is doing...we would have seen the light not necessarily results...

3)If buhari and APC had any superior idea to that of Jonathan... they won't want to be associated with his policies and strategies...but since May 29th, it is Jonathan policies that Nigeria is living on...while his strategies are all what buhari has been using...

4)If buhari and APC trust their ability to perform better than Jonathan PDP ...they won't strive to usurp his projects and ideas while accrediting same to themselves but hypocritically hyping the perceived wrongs for gullible supporters to echo...

5)Improved electricity is thanks to Jonathan nothing about buhari...rainy season is a contributory factor too...

6)Single treasury account is Jonathan policy already being enforced before election... forget buhari propaganda...

7)NNPC challenge lies in the structure not in the faces...Buhari can only fool his dullards...Jonathan template of 2012 lies the solution wherein NNPC would be deregulated and opened up for transparent and accountable stewardship...

coolBuhari utterances betray also the fact that he doesn't know what to do...He's just a boisterous charlatan who loves criticizing others with No single solution to offer...

9)Noble intentions don't solve problems... Buhari cannot wish away Nigeria's challenges...Only positive informed actions and decision can do that...so far he has shown none...

10)Campaign is over...buhaei has to offer solutions immediately... not shifting blames and playing to the gallery with dangerous propaganda like he's doing...Irrespective of whatever rot he thinks is there, he Must solve them because that's his duty and not the dance of shifting blames and pointing fingers on all except himself...Whatever sordid condition of Nigeria today, he and all APC leaders contributed because they have been participating and deepening these rots since independence under different nomenclature... thanks

kaboninc:
Firstly, on the advantages of revoking a license which was duly and transparently issued, fine Mr. Buhari can decide to revoke these licenses just because they are not performing as expected but we should understand that there are rules, guidelines and procedures and consequences to follow before revoking licenses in a highly competitive and critical sector as the Power Sector; else they'll end up killing the confidence in the market and that erodes interest and the people will suffer for it. We'd be back to square half!

Why most people are aghast with this APC government especially someone like Mr. Buhari who has shown strong interests in becoming the President is because they appear not to know what they are in for. It is not about acquiring power but knowing what to do with it. In a sane country, you ought to have started work...things like hinting the policy direction in various sectors of the economy. That's very important but what we have is just a standstill. Another was the promise of hitting the ground running. We are still on the ground. About to run but not running!

Is it not shameful that these APC fellows are claiming the gains - such as improved power supply across the country - of the previous administration as theirs? An administration of less than two months? As they made us to believe, supposing Mr. Jonathan left a comatose economy, why are the people not tensed? This government said there was virtually an empty treasury (by Mr. Buhari himself) but salaries are being paid at the Federal Levels and by some prudent resourceful States to their employees, Universities are still on, Hospitals and other Government institutions are still up and running. So why the unnecessary hype?

They should get working because they sure do have a lot to do, chiefly is removing the saw dust from their eyes.

Yes the President may mean well for us...at least in his heart...but the utterances from him most especially is conflicting, confusing and saddening. Come to think of it,

Did we hear or read or notice or observe Jonathan making scatting remarks about his predecessors or their actions, most especially the scam in Obasanjo's administration? The Halliburton Scandal? Even with the power sector collapse, the economic meltdown (God gave him wisdom there), the poor roads, the universities, the rice dumping (thank God for people like Adesina, the terrible security situation in the North East and rampart spate of kidnapping (yet we hosted the World Economic Forum and attracted huge FDI) and many others?

That is a leader who got the ground running!

Mr. Dele Momodu is just courting the King. He wants to tell his royal majesty that he is still in town and played a role in making Mr. Buhari, the King. He is just a court jester!

All the personnel's in the presidential cabinet are supposed to be men who have same picture in terms of policies and technicalities with him...so it is not exclusive to NSA...so why won't he then appoint all of them from daura if that's the case taking it that other regions are bereft of such professionals...
