How are those states APC strongholds?
Are you seriously asking me how Bornu, Yobe and Adamawa are APC states?.. As long as I can remember, Bornu and Yobe have always been APC and I dont see the people of those states voting in PDp anytime soon. Go and look at the 2011 election results and you will understand why the PDP is worried about those states voting massively for APC. Adamawa is ruled by PDP presently but have you ever asked yourself why the last governorship election in scheduled in October was cancelled just days before the exercise?... With Nyako crossing to APC and then being impeached, his deputy was also deposed and couldn't take over. Elections were scheduled but at the last minute, PDP clearly saw the hand-writting on the wall that the APC had the upper hand and the deposed deputy governor (who is still PDP) was returned and quickly made governor by a surprisingly quick court verdict to stop the election.

I do not have the time presently to start explaining to you how or why GEJ is not a sound or strong leader. You do not need to look too far from your nose to see this.
Responding to some lies can be very frustrating...let's even leave the five states ruled by defected governors which you know ab initio and even now, still have strong followership of PDP eg Rivers...How on earth did you arrive on such conclusion in Adamawa? Do you have conscience at all? Does it prick you when you tell some lies? So Imo even with how the Igbo's abhor APC like Ebola is assured for you? Even Nasarawa whose Assembly members are more of PDP? How about Ekiti? Adamawa where Atiku is the only notable politician? Ogun where APC is as good as dead? Is either you are not a Nigerian or you are a diehard liar or you live in the world of fantasyhuh? Keep up the dirty job, you will soon drown....
Is not that you don't have time to explain how GEJ is a weak leader and other questions I asked but simply; YOU DON'T HAVE ANY ANSWER AT ALL...I CHALLENGE YOU TO CONFRONT ME WITH FACTS...LETS SEE...

If u vote GEJ, u will b voting in incompetence for the next four years.

The clueless leader is a reflection of clueless people who vote the.

Therefore u will only vote GEJ if u have no clue about ur actions with the thought u are frustrating people who according to u are ganging up againt GEJ.
What's your definition of incompetence? What do you understand by one being clueless? Can you present concrete verifiable examples to prove your assertions above? What do you think a good leader would have done? Present concrete ideas and examples to illustrate your points...thanks

Because you think a a group of unscrupulous elements are ganging up against the president, so therefore you will vote for the incompetent president just to spite these group of people who are ganging up against him?... Well done!.. You have a very good sense of judgement and priority.

I know your next question would be, "how is Jonathan incompetent?"... Most typical Nigerians feel good governance or leadership competence is all about renovating/repainting 1960 trains or parching up some highways. Many people obviously do not know that it is the administrative incompetence of the leader that has led the nation to the current unprecedented state of extreme division along ethnic, tribal and religious lines and this incompetence has also led to the rise and rise and spread of terrorism (if the leader was competent, he would have fished out and flushed out the terrorist and their sponsors, whoever they may be).

I wouldn't want to even mention his absolute weakness and cowardice towards fighting corruption which is almost making the nation bankrupt. Obviously, many do not have an idea of the rate of looting going on under this regime by both the friends and enemies of the president but he remains too scared to even comment about it. Instead he tends to defend/deny it because he knows he hasn't gotten the balls to fight it. A little pointer to this unprecedented corruption is the fact that as at 2007, there were only 25 private jet owners in the country, but now there are over 250 (google forbes.com to confirm this) but still, some Nigerians do not still want to believe that something is really wrong with this development.

It may interest you to know that the gang-up against the president is only possible because the man is intellectually deficient, weak and administratively incompetent. That is why every riff-raff takes the slightest opportunity to pick on him and at the end, innocent Nigerians are the victims. However, you want to vote him to continue leading your country because some unscrupulous elements are ganging up against him?... once again I say, Welldone and Goodluck!
Now, I need explicit answers please not essay... How did GEJ's administrative incompetence lead to extreme tribalism, nepotism etc as you pointed? Examples are needed please... How did it affect terrorism? What would have been the better alternative?
Don't you think you are projecting your image on others by thinking because you didn't make more money btw 2007 & 2014 maybe cos of laziness, lack of viable business ideas etc that whoever does must have looted? Aren't you a pessimist? Don't you believe in hardwork? How many years does it take to be a millionaire?
Don't you think cos he allowed democracy to develop and freedom of expression to thrive hence people talk freely?
With FOI passed? Don't you think we have stronger opposition now? don't you think all these will result in the numerous propaganda and lies? not the incompetence as you reasoned?

Every government all over the world faces opposition. The opposition only becomes more daring and brutal IF and only IF the government allows it to. The present Nigerian government has allowed the insurgency to fester not only because of the presidents weakness and poor leadership skills but also because the president believes his 2015 ambition would actually be favoured by the activities of the insurgence.

With elections fast approaching and the troubled regions being mainly APC strongholds, I can almost swear with my life that the country's leadership has deliberately allowed the terrorists to operate freely so as to prevent elections in those regions.
How are those states APC strongholds? Adamawa, Borno, and Yobe majorly and then Niger, Bauchi, Gombe, etc with traces of the insurgency... So what made them APC strongholds please? Which party control these states? Aren't they more of PDP than APC? Even borno, the epicenter of boko haram is not entirely APC?
Again, how do you determine a strong leader? What do you expect GEJ to do to show he's a strong leader? Is it to become a tyrant or a dictator? Or to intimidate people? What leadership skills do you think are lacking in him?
Most times, in trying to sound intelligent we betray our ignorance...I need answers to all my questions to you please...don't be selective in answering them...thanks

Some inconsequential nitwits who do not know anything in politics would just come on Nairaland to spew balderdash. Do you know anything about Edo?! FYI, National Assembly and Presidential Election would hold the same day. None of the Candidates of APC would advise the Electorates to vote APC is Senatorial/Reps and vote PDP in Presidential. Because if they try that, most of the aged electorates would get it wrong.

Now, tell me how APC is not going to get up to 25% votes in Edo. The ratio of APC:PDP in the Presidential Election in Edo come 2015 would be 60:40%. I'm glad people like my grandparents would no longer vote Jonathan. All the aged people are crooning over here is Buhari. Bros, abeg no dey encourage yourself wrongly again abeg!
I love this your mathematical analysis here. Now, can you kindly apply it too to all other states with PDP lawmakers? Do you see the APC winning majority of the national assembly seats too? Will the PDP senators sacrifice their seats? Or won't they do same arithematics like you? or do you have monopoly of wisdom? Elections are not won online...its good to day dream sha...keep it up

Bro, I appreciate some of your comments but you seem to be intimidating others who have contrary but to me, genuine opinions which run against yours. Listen to them and weigh some of them to see the truth therein.
I, personally hunger to see things change for better in Nigeria but the most unfortunate thing which I see is this; APC are singing "change" but aren't picking the candidates who can bring change...hence I pray they lose.
Most of there candidates live and breathe corruption, nepotism, favouritism et al... Even Buhari isn't exempted. Why? The "age of his ideas". Also, he can't succeed noting the machineries bringing him to power are themselves corrupt; and he can't succeed without them. I wonder how he hopes to manage a national assembly controlled by PDP or do you see APC being in the majority there too? I am yet to see any template by any of your candidates addressing problems of Nigeria rather they concentrate on abusing the incumbent. Who among them has xrayed the current army tactics and come up with an alternative workable plan? Even Rochas who is running trial and error system of governance is among your leading contenders? Which way Nigeria? Most of those candidates are simply over hyped....None is better than GEJ among them so far...

Some say Enugu airport forgetting that it was awarded by Yar'Adua. Ndi Igbo ve benefited appointment of ministers just like every other parts of the country. Could GEJ had trusted onye Igbo for oil if she's not his own Ijaw sister? Then if he has been nice to ndi Igbo I want to see a man from Igboland become oil minister or NNPC MD? I hope to see one refinery in Igbo land? Don't forget that Obasanjo appointed Iweala fin minister, Soludo CBN, Akunyili NAFDAC, Ezekwesili due process minister etc. Look at how GEJ disgraced Ogbulafor, Nwodo as PDP chair but appointed Tukur immediately he was removed. How many federal roads in S/E is repaired. I ll like to get u know that the position of Anyim has no impact on Igbo development except cracking his voice for GEJ second term and hope to continue as the Chief of the civil servants, specialist in keeping civil servants' files. The dredging of lower river niger was awarded by Yar'adua to open up Nigeria economy to other parts of Nigeria but today we can only hear about from media.
My anger at most of your most of lies won't allow me to respond to most of these wicked publications of yours...Akanu Ibiam airport has been an issue of campaign for long especially under Obj but was fulfilled by GEJ...Who in the history of Nigeria ever made an Igbo man COAS except GEJ...check yourself biko....don't allow hatred & falsehood ruin your life....Go and check NNPC management now and come back for a chat....did Nwodo not leave due to his issues of local politics from Enugu between him and Chime? so who disgraced who? how did he disgrace ogbulafor?...refinery in Igbo land? did he build in bayelsa? or anywhere else? are we not talking of privatisation? anambra already invested in orient petroleum... what else? ....check out Nigerian system, most of the key economic portfolios belong to Igbo presently....kindly research plz....stop lying... quit hating....avoid propaganda and cheap blackmail....

Politics › Is President Goodluck Jonathan Really This Clueless & Incompetent? by Whynotthetruth(op): 3:28pm On Nov 15, 2014
Having moved from grass to grace, he was once an education inspector, lecturer, environmental-protection officer, deputy governor, governor, vice president, acting president and now president.
Having been president of this complex, sensitive, resilient, and dynamic country for like six years now and seeking re-,election; which I support fully for the success I believe he achieved in his first term. Even if the opposition refutes all his achievement; which I am yet to read any constructive criticism of the ones he listed on his declaration day, NOBODY can deny the fact that he allowed our democracy to grow and our electoral system improved. At least, they can express their opinion freely without harassment no matter how flawed and skewed the opinion. And they can win elections too(Osun state par example). That's a great achievement. If you doubt me, ask those who experienced the military era.##nothing sweet pass freedom oo##
The opposition which by reason of their use of foul languages and seeming lack of respect for presidency; a position they hope to occupy one day: I can aptly describe better as; "Haters" have adjudged him as both "clueless" & "incompetent".
For these set of haters of GEJ, I most humbly ask these questions;
1)Is he clueless and incompetent, yet his government has not being hijacked by anyone especially knowing how power hungry our politicians are?
2) Is he clueless yet under him, Nigeria has been elected to UN security council twice in quick succession for the first time in our history? Or are those who voted us under him clueless too?
3) Is he clueless and incompetent, yet was able to assemble one of the best team of ministers in our history? Mind you these ministers have a REPUTATION & INTEGRITY to protect. Or where they clueless to allow him him ruin their life long and hard earned reputation? Mind you, they are a mirror of the person they represent. Imagine people who aren't career politicians like; Okonjo-Iweala, Akinwumi Adesina, Chinedu Nebo et al
4) Is he really daft and has achieved what most of our parents never dreamed of, talk more achieving? If its just mere luck, are you just implying that others are cursed whereas him alone can be this lucky out of over 160million people?
5) Is he daft, clueless and incompetent as they say, and have achieved what I pray and hope to achieve in future that my children can proudly point to me as a hardworking dad?
6) Is clueless and daft yet Nigeria hasn't collapsed irrespective of her security challenge? Which to me, we help to fan its embers by our uninformed criticisms and propaganda. Remember, lies and propaganda are the greatest weapon of terrorists to inject fear and destabilize the society.
7) Is he clueless and incompetent really? Because if that's the new criteria for success, what stops me from becoming so too to achieve such quantum of success both in personal, public and leadership positions?
cool Is he really a failure that even international organizations like IMF, FAO, et al have all rated us and our economy high under GEJ? or are they clueless and incompetent organizations too?
9) Is he really clueless, daft, a failure, and incompetent?
Constructive and Objective comments will be appreciated please...You can as well add other areas of his "clueless, daft, failure, and incompetent" life or governance and reasons why you think so with alternative or better way to do it...thanks in advance!!!
