thecommunist: @OP, I have the same experience as yours. I prayed for a friend of mine when he needed a job and like a miracle he got a job at schumberger, the guy just forgot all about me till today. I prayed for my eldest sisters and today she is in real money, fortunately for me she is a generous person and I don't regret praying for her, in fact I pray for her during my midnight prayers and she is getting amazing results. I prayed for my father when he was sick and at the point of death-he had been deathly ill for almost 4 months, the next he was miraculously healed! There are a lot of people that I prayed for and they get results, Infact my 2 elder sisters recognized this my gift and as such are always calling me for prayers...But I realized sometimes ago that for me to get answers to prayers I pray for myself, I must do extra work in prayer. when I realized this, I started telling people to pray for me too maybe it would be easier. But guess the answer I usually get? "that nobody can pray for you like you should pray for yourself" I just gave up asking people I prayed for to pray for me. instead I will give it the extra prayer effort to get my answers. But these days I pray more for myself and my generous elder sister, God bless me and her more in jesus name. in summary OP: find someone serious as a prayer partner and try praying exclusively for each other. it may work . Pray too for my divine healing plz...was involved in a ghastly motor accident...want the God of miracle to surprise me and for sure, I will surprise lots of less privileged in gratitude to God too... |

mercylicious: well, their problem could be more shallow than yours. pray for your foundation agressively and after that, do a one week mercy prayer . mercy in anyway you have erred. forgive ppl dt have annoyed you. reversed all the curses u laid on ppl and d ones laid on u. u can also pray on any convenant working agaonst u- known and unknown, from urself, ur parents, ur village etc. There could be a legal ground dt d devil is using to block answers to ur self prayers and till u deal wit it, u might nt go further.
personally, am a fan of mercy prayers. whenever i meet a brick wall dt wont move, stop making any requests and revert to mercy prayer whenever i start, reveqlations start coming and from there, i know the direction to channel my prayers b4 i ever get back to requests. Maybe you pray this mercy prayer for me too...involved in a ghastly accident and don't to waste here...kindly use your knees for me now plz |

Am sure the niche she created will never be carved by anyone's lineage on nairaland, amen
We can only carve good things that will affect people positively and not selfish ones to enlarge pockets
We will carve what for years to come will create employment and economic development in nigeria
So yes ! His lineage and ours will never carve a niche like that shameless pawn .Did she rise to executive director in shell ? Did she study in both England and USA ? Was she a former minister in mines & steel and also, transportation ? Is she the minister of petroleum ?? Is she the president of OPEC ?? ogtavia: Look,I agree with all d points u raised..we definitely can't exist in isolation, but what I know is dis,we can do better than many countries if we really want to...I know and understand why Nigeria can't arbitrarily fix fuel price in isolation to international price,I think I quite understand how d forces work,I can't blame d marketers and importers..neither am I saying they are clueless..in situations..d people I will never blame are d players along d production/delivery chain...yet,I will not absolve them of all faults,no,they are part of d problem, yes they are, have you ever asked urself, where d so-called crude oil is even refined,is it d US,is it Venezuela,is it Iran, even d Nigerian government knows why it can't divulge such information, but a right thinking mind will know, there is no proper reason why we can't refine fuel here,...d Leaders are d culprit, that's why I said,OPEC is a cartel,I didn't even say it,its a fact..I will not be deceived myself,d powers at play in d petroleum issue seems to be powerful but not beyond what our leaders can do,do u know au much Nigeria makes from oil,do u know much is been remitted into d treasury,..look,markets buy petrol at less than N97 but sell at N97 cos dts d national fixed price,I am in no way saying,d players in d oil industry are retards but I know they are pawns in d bigger game than we know... To me, government problem should be to fix the refineries... but the corruption in that import system is something you do systematically otherwise they will crumble your economy, destroy your government and make you a living failure....Bro, managing people is the hardest part of life especially managing ones who have the capacity to ruin your all...marketers, importers, regulatory agencies etc are all corrupt and government has to be diplomatic otherwise they will ruin you with strikes, sabotage, blackmail etc |

ogtavia: Dts international price fixed by OPEC abeg,av u asked urself why all of a sudden,d price of oil has reduced sharply...do u know OPEC was originally a cartel and maybe still is headed by Saudi Arabia,d largest Oil exporter in d world...look.who says Nigeria can't sell oil at our own predetermined price,Shale Oil production increased in d US and u know America, they don't care who OPEC is,Saudi Arabia flooded d market with Brent Oil that is our crude oil,and reduced d price, what we have now is d resultant effect..btw..which one is refined petrol...d only universal price is one crude oil...countries determine how much they sell to their citizens...I don't even know why I responded to this sef in d first place.. Why not remove prejudice and then sit to understand the system very well before analyzing ...Do Nigeria exist in isolation of other countries? Can we run an economy devoid of interaction with other economies ? What's the price of this product in other economies considering their GDP, per capita income, refining base, manufacturing prowess of the economy I am not saying building refineries here isn't the best but given the current situation, what's the way out Why do you think petroleum price is same all over the country ? is it magic or cluelessness of importers, marketers etc |

PerfectFortune: What you wrote up there simply means: "A good leadership does not guaranty a good followership".
But I can tell you that when the head is good, the body does not have a choice. Would you rather have a bad head on a bad body? Would you rather keep a bad leader because you think 4/8 years is not enough to right the wrong? Nobody believe Fashola could achieve what he has been able to achieve in 8years. People in Lagos secretariate that used to work like uncivilized people now work with diligence only because the head is good.
Think about that. Mind you; in as much as I believe that corruption is deep rooted in Nigeria but I am not also, accusing GEJ of being corrupt because I have no evidence to that. And I can't because one's political opponents are saying that he's corrupt now join the bandwagon and accuse him of same...where's my evidence ? Or don't you think its character assassination to accuse falsely without evidence ?.... Good leadership is good but what is good leadership to you ? Because I see people here pass judgement on issues they don't even understand. |

Good words & nice collections for his library but those can't guarantee a successful leader or leadership in a democratic setting with independent minds and arms of government. Mind you; integrity which is his main assets cannot change Nigeria over night...How can he change national assembly member's personality? how about the average Nigerian man? Ask an average Nigerian what he will do if picked as a president today...? He will quickly tell you how he will enrich himself and family....that's corruption beyond entrenched in the bone marrow of our society... can he change that within 4 years or even 8years ?? its impossible... |
