From the look of things he didn't specify if it was macros or what, secondly it's obvious he cannot program because he said he Needs to learn , thirdly where were you initially when he asked the question? And why didn't you give any reasonable response to assist him? Way you come here day front 'learn your vb very well' , I believe this is a forum I have the right to say and ask questions to help in my own small way. And lastly, you don't know what I can code and what am capable of coding so I'd appreciate if you keep quiet and watch and learn. That's how I did it when I used to learn back then.

And before I forget, yes I know the macros part as well.

Lol amnot looking to emulate an operating system per se, it's mostly game consoles, i feel it will get me closer to computer architecture, and taking Z80 as a starting point, but you are right about the registers. I have practically almost no idea. let me not derail this thread.

I'm writing an advanced boot kit,i wouldn't even think of writing a hypervisor , I no wan die early, something that would boot as soon as ma pc comes up, it's going to be x64 and possibly x86. It's going to be a driver /Loader thing.

You do realise x86 is actually fading out now don't you, and if you have to do most things like that,its mostly kernel mode that should be best. Emulation has to deal with working with registers and the rest(from little experience I have). You can not do it all on ring3, as there are certain manipulations you cannot bypass easily but from kernel mode it's very possible 100%.

You should start thinking of bypassing patch guard to load your drivers if you doing things like that.
Read about x86 / x64 and emulation, bypassing patch guard and others.
