already started my journey into data science, prior before now I had a mentor(my cousin) who is a data scientist in Australia who talked extensively on data science and gave various tools necessary. So I brushed through excel by taking some course like analysing data using excel and other courses on Edx(videos) then currently learning sql using sql server express learnt basics using w3schools and sqlzoo which am done, practicing using ssms and sample database like(adventureworks and northwind) so refreshing. Also I have some PDFs book having questions and problem from beginner to advance on the sample database listed, once am done I will also take some courses on edX. Afterwards would move into python and other tools.

just wanted to share my journey for the past one month. thanks Ejiod and other contributors.

if you are also on this journey into the world of data science quote me, let's relate

Please bro, help me; I want to go into data science. I need I go on learning platforms or free tutorials or ebooks

I once taught in a school around Ajah Lagos and was paid 75k. Even though the money seems reasonable, I couldn't bear the disrespectful and rude attitude of the over-pampered students towards the teachers.

The school management of big schools usually look the other way while these uncultured students from rich homes treat their teachers like dirts by insulting them at will.

As an ICT teacher, I could do better for myself in the tech industry than wasting my youthful self away in the name of teaching computer in secondary, so I quit after 1 year of teaching and I'm glad I did. cool

School children are very disrespectful these days. Mine happened exactly like this but in PH. The children feel that because their parents have some dirty little "change", they can insult a teacher and talk rudely to a teacher.

and you know what? I didn't even waste any time; I dumped their ass after just one term and moved on with my life.

Jobs/Vacancies / Who Knows About This Company? by whyteteeth: 12:11pm On Nov 16, 2021
A message came into my phone just this morning from Tyonex Nigeria Limited for an interview in owerri. I can't remember when I sent my CV to them but I know I have sent so many applications online and I possibly may have lost count.

I did a simple Google search and the website shows it's a pharmaceutical company.

However, I want to find out if it's worth the time and effort because I have to travel to owerri from Port Harcourt tomorrow for the interview.

These kids never ceases to amaze me undecided what have you been through to contemplate suicide.

There’s always light at the end of the tunnel undecided

People have been through worse and they are still walking, so many young girls wish to further their education but they found themselves in the streets of Europe selling their bodies for their Madams.

Have you even been outside in the cold hustling for men and not even sure you’ll meet a client that night and you don’t even knowing q your next meal would come from?

You have people paying your fees , you have a smart phone, you even have data to post on what’s app.

There’s no justification for her action, I hope she’s found alive.

Just shut up if you don't know what to say. Yesterday I nearly committed suicide if not that I went to UPTH and met with a clinical psychologist.

This generation is so dumb honestly.

Money and value change with time. 4k in 1982 wasn't an easy money to come by. Only the rich could afford a car of 4k.

Things like cars, education etc have always been expensive.

In the 60s, only very few people were able to attend secondary school. Infact many people who attended school at that time were sponsored by their community or scholarship.

My father attended secondary school in the 60s and 70s. He told me his poor father had to sell a lot of land to send him to secondary school. School fees per term for boarding was 36pounds in 1962. At a point when he ran out of lands to sell, my father had to go stay with his uncle in Enugu who was doing well so he could train him in school

It was the Uncle who raised money for him to finish secondary school.

Buying a car was luxury and could only be something meant for the rich in the 60s to 80s.

His first salary after going to UI was 400naira in 1979

Most witches and wizards are very nice in day time... If you want to truly confirm your conviction, become a hot spiritual man by doing the following . 1. Salvation in Christ. 2. Have a love and deep fellowship relationship with Jesus. 3. Be a man of fasting and prayer. Always pray in tongues especially during night prayers. If you as not baptized with tongues, ask God for it. 4. Always read the Bible. 5. Try at all means to be holy, avoid worldliness. Brother as you begin to walk in these ways, if your said friend is what you said, he will start withdrawing from you. And he will even try ways of leading you into sins so that your light and fire will be put out. Do these bro...

I have been doing all these things by God's grace I'll keep doing them.

Family / What Can One Do If He Realizes His Best Friend Is A Witch Or Wizard? by whyteteeth: 2:55pm On Sep 12, 2021
Well, I will keep this very simple. I found out through personal revelation from the holy spirit that my friend who came to visit me is a wizard and he has been the one pressing me at night, what science calls "sleep paralysis".

I know this might sound funny because quite a lot of people find it hard to believe in witches and wizards. And even those who believe will still have their doubts as par whether what I'm saying is true or false.

But let's say what I am saying is true, what do you think I should do because the paddy man is very nice and cool personality. We have been friends for a while now.
