My dear I can relate with u. My own hunger is insatiable. I never get full no matter what or how many times I eat. For now, I've not added any weight but I'm just worried whether d fat is accumulating to surprise me at the long run

Thank God am not alone. The hunger no be here, in fact its uncontrollable, I eat in small portion though, but with the small portion I fit eat 10 times per day lol

You are certainly not alone teamie. My own morning sickness comes in the evenings and not really on daily basis.
That leaves me with a lot of time to eat all through the day.
If I eat in small portion, it would seem like I have not started.
It shall end well for all of use in Jesus name, amen.

Pls sisters, is biitterleaf soup safe to eat? I'm in my 1st trimester and I'm craving the soup bad . I read something online but it wasn't very clear. Bikonu answer me oo don't jump and pass mamas.

Teamie I haven't heard such before. I eat bitterleaf soup in different ways sef. I use it either with cocoyam or ogbono.
Please go ahead and enjoy your soup.
If you are worried, you can cook the bitterleaf separately in a pot with some water and drain it. This will get rid of some of the bitterness.

You can squeeze it further to get rid of more bitterness before finally using it in your soup.

Now you have made me crave for bitterleaf and cocoyam soup. Biko send mine across when you are done.

lol,eat if u are hungry o,I remember when my aunt was pregnant food was always with her,hunga made her to beg some1 she did not know for corn inside bus one day it was really funny.hunger in pregnancy can do you like you want to faint if u don't eat, if u are scared of adding plenty you can reduce the portions small and drink plenty Water.

Mama my own is worse. I don't need to see the food before I start hungering for it.
Once the thought enter my head e go dey do me like cocaine.

Dh is going for a colleague's wedding and the company is going in group. The moment he mentioned it, my mind thought of party rice.
I am almost tempted to disgrace myself by joining them just to eat the rice.

My case is that serious.

Thank God for her oo. I kept track of all the food I burnt in my first preggie thanks to my diary, I wrote from day1 till 2 weeks after delivery lol..I stunbled on it sometime ago n LMAO.. but this time around d tin nor shark me to keep notes again

Thank God I have my sister in law with me then, otherwise, I for don burn enough food. I sleep off at the slightest chance I get.
I just finished swallowing garri and soup at about 6pm.

Hubby came home with shawarma that I requested for. I have finished it as well and thinking of what next to send to yonder.
I need mouth padlock before I will no longer be able to pass through the door

Lol ...it's funny what women go through in the course of pregnancy. I wasn't so troublesome in the first journey, there just had to be cold water in the freezer, baba sala Milo and plenty ice blocks. DH locked the freezer one time sef, he claimed I wanted to drown his babies with cold water. This time around, I'm in love with this 3-in-1 cadbury chocolate something. Also, I can sleep for Africa! I burnt rice last week sef... I just say make I close eye small, na my neighbor shout say something dey smell for kitchen side...lol

Thank God for your neighbour mama . Pregnancy can do women strong thing. Seems like one should start keeping diary of the things we had to go through for our los to read when they come of age.

Hello mamas. How are we all doing? I was wondering if maybe we could spice up this thread a little more by sharing some funny experiences we have had so far in this journey.

It could be about what you have put your dh through or even those around you. I have not been dramatic with dh yet because he's always at work when I'm in the mood for some pregnancy troubles.

Anyway, here is a story I read somewhere that has not ceased to tear me up till today.

A pregnant woman woke her husband up very early in the morning insisting that she wanted Orobo Pepsi.
Mind you, the husband was supposed to be getting ready for work but had to run out in search of where to get the Orobo Pepsi that early.
He searched and couldn't find the Orobo Pepsi and instead settled for 2 small bottles of Pepsi instead.
On sighting him with the two small bottles of Pepsi, the woman started crying and lamenting "I said I wanted Orobo Pepsi not 2 bottles of Pepsi"

Chai! Lord have mercy on our DHs and what they pass through in our hands during this period.

I have been a silent follower of this forum, I have been TTC for 3yrs, but God just surprised me with a BFP on Monday. My dear mummys join me to thank this great God who has done this marvellous work for me.

fibroid has been the issue all these years, but this year God did without taking to any drug.

Although we have welcomed you on the pregnancy thread, I want to thank God for the rain of BFP.

Keep it coming Lord. We are grateful.
