Please ooo mama's that have recently taken tt, is this how TT injection use to do somebody? i am just feeling sick and weak all over with no appetite too

I felt a little heaviness and pain on that arm the day I took it but it was gone by the next day. Different people react differently to it. The nurse that gave me the injection said that TT is a very powerful injection that many take for granted.
So don't worry mama, you will soon be back to your normal self.

good day my able Cappo, thank God we are doing great. I registered for my antenatal yesterday and took my TT Injection too... they did scan but could not find the sex the sonographer was saying my bladder was not full so he could not trace it. In two weeks time I will recheck...

I was going to ask where my prettmum is before I saw this post. Glad you are doing great mama. I'm yet to take my shot but will try to do that this week. Let's know whenever you check sex. I will do mine next week.

I have taken 2TT shots so far. we are waiting for next scan to know gender before we start shopping, hopefully next month. I went to regesiter at another hospital yesterday and the doctor gave me another Edd, I have 3 different dates now.lol
May God continue to strengthen us

Wow! Good job on taking your TT shots. Great idea to check gender before shopping. As for the different EDDs, just stick to your first scan date which is what doctors will stick to in the end. And amen to your prayers mama.

Thankful to God for this pregnancy. Totally unplanned and was very shocking to us. I have 2 girls and living in a foreign country with little or no help, i was fine with them girls, but God had other plans for us.

Evening cappo, will be 16weeks by next week God's willing. Hoping to register by then. As for tt shot,am done with that and for shopping, hoping to start oct ending by His grace. So far so good,we thank God.

It's the second week of September and we are gradually moving to the promised land.
How are we doing teamies? Have you taken your first TT injection? Anyone done anatomy and sex scan? If you have please share sex with us.

I missed my antenatal appointment and therefore haven't taken my tt shot, but I'll do that once school resumes next week so that I can leave my boy in school and go with the girl.

I hope all the morning sickness is finally gone? The way things are expensive now eh, I wonder what will happen by December) January. Therefore, I suggest we start buying things now, especially first time mums.

My PT result came out positive early this morning and I am so excited to join this thread.

Congratulations and welcome mama. First of all, you need to start taking folic acid one tablet a day. You can also add fesolate to it.

Some mothers prefer Pregnancare or other types of prenatal drugs (though expensive), it usually covers all the vitamins and nutrients you need for this journey.

Just speak to a good pharmacist in your area for more advice. But if you can't afford the expensive ones, your folic acid and fesolate got you covered. Some add bcomplex, calcium and vitamin c, but general hospital gives only folic acid and fesolate except there is need to add others.

Most hospitals won't register you for antenatal until you are up to 3 months. But some privates don't mind accepting you.

For now, try eating a balanced meal and take plenty water. Hopefully, you will not have morning sickness but if you do, you will be alright after 3 months

You may have more questions as your pregnancy progresses and you may notice some changes in your body like mild lower abdominal pain when your womb starts expanding to accommodate baby and the rest, feel free to share it here and mamas will help you out or direct you to your doctor when necessary.

For hospitals, other mamas here may suggest one, or you could ask mamas in your neighborhood for ideas. All the best!

my Cappo, yesoo we are moving small and increasing rapidly. I went for scan because I was not feeling pregnant at all but thank God every thing went well.. Will go back by next month for gender....my mind don rest eh

I know the feeling. Can't wait for gender and anomaly scan too.

I m enjoying this 2nd trimester. Just waist pain that started this morning. May the lord continue to strengthen us.

Welcome to the team mama. I have updated the list with your name and EDD. We share the same EDD. For the waist pain, if you stand a lot try and reduce it or get a stool to sit when in the kitchen or doing other things. God will continue to strengthen us.

Yes, I felt movement quite early like you, but now, the baby just dey deny me much movement. I blame mine on anterior placenta Sha. Please enjoy your Amala with the orishirishi. Pregnant women deserve all the good things we can get.

So sorry for checking in late. Omo BBnajia is distracting me. I no no who send me o. I have monopolised the remote control in my house. No one watches any other station except I'm bribed

Anyway, I hope you are as excited as I am about stepping into September cos that means that we are counting down to the end of the year and looking forward to our birth month.
Phew! How time flies. Just yesterday we tested positive and now we are all in our second trimester. Thank you Jesus and may Allah be praised!

I'm doing good on my part. I'm still falling asleep anyhow and anywhere. I don't know when that one will stop
