PoliticsRe: 2027 Presidency: Peter Obi Submits One-Term Proposal To ADC Coalition by Wickedlywicked: 11:23am On Jul 03, 2025
ddippset:
Do you know the meaning of the word "entirely"?

If I say;

"It is not entirely about desperation"

This simply means that "yes he is desperate but there are other reasons beside desperation"

It is different from saying;
"It is entirely not about desperation"
..
The social media is the realest leveler there is. Imagine an O.S.U teaching a sovran elementary English.
Let me school you a little. “It is not entirely about desperation” (emphasis on “not entirely”) means while desperation is part of it, it’s not completely true.
Now, a sensible person would tell us what other thing was responsible for the thing being discussed since he had earlier claimed that it’s not ENTIRELY about desperation. Since it’s not entirely about it, then what other thing is responsible for his actions? Since desperation is just A part of it, something else must be involved but you failed to tell us that thing and went on to say this “anyone who had the kind of popularity Obi had in that 2023 would be desperate to try his luck” in the next paragraph and the craziest part is that you’re still arguing grin
I’m not shocked a bit since you’re just like Peter your mentor. Remember he once said “ The Biggest drain to our foreign exchange is foreign exchange
Are you just pulling my legs or this is how you think irl? I’m dead curious right now because wtf?😂
Arguing with people who take that man seriously should be the most stressful, draining and silly thing to do tbfh😂

Updated:
Sincere apologies. Maybe I’m a bad teacher but let me try to explain a little better now and in the simplest way possible. I’ll be doing that with your own very statement.
You: “ This simply means that "yes he is desperate but there are other reasons beside desperation"

Me: what are these other reasons beside desperation?”

You: anyone who had the kind of popularity Obi had in that 2023 would be desperate to try his luck
Me : 😕 huh huh huh
Just like Peter Obi who said “The Biggest drain to our foreign exchange is foreign exchange”
Likeeee, what’s going on bruhh?
Do you get it now or we should commit your situation into the hands of God? I sincerely don’t know what other way to explain this😂

Anything to kick the druggie out of Aso Rock is highly welcome. grin
Interesting times ahead 😂
This is that same El Rufai who we all preached against for dealing ruthlessly with the Christians in Kaduna.
Trust a nyamere at your own peril because an Igbo man will forgive even the devil and call God a liar once the former starts telling him what he wants to hear or when he starts rubbishing his perceived enemies like Tinubu and Buhari yet they are everywhere calling other tribes and people Betrayals
The other day, that same General Ibrahim Babangida (the devil and liar we all know) suddenly earned the praises and support of the Igbos for saying what they wanted to hear grin You suddenly forgot that IBB was amongst the main masterminds of the series of anti-Igbo pogroms that claimed thousands of lives.
Am I shocked? No, not a bit or didn’t they later support Buhari, the same man they called Jibrin from Sudan when he started tacitly fighting Tinubu?
Make una continue, at least, we now know the real betrayals.
El- Rufai of all people ooo, how desperate can a man get?😂😂

When and where did I say "someone is not desperate?"

Show me abeg!

Guy,, is everything okay upstairs??

I said and I quote
"It's not entirely about desperation"

Na wa oohh

Comprehension problems?
I just asked the same question and you haven't answered😂. The person you responded to was talking about how desperate he (Obi) was to have proposed a single-term presidency and you replied him saying it's not entirely about desperation but in the next paragraph, you said anyone with the hype and name Obi made for himself in 2023 would be DESPERATE to try his luck. Like, you Dey okay so?
I was expecting you to tell us exactly what it was since it's not entirely about desperation. A right-thinking person would state what it was or perhaps, what it was partially about.
Someone is begging and settling for one-tenure presidency after trying his luck and exhausting all his divisionist antics and you’re still saying it’s not entirely about desperation.
Dude just want to have a taste even if it’s just one term😂
And you're still here talking about comprehension.
Blessed is the soul of Awolowo for the introduction of free education in the West. He introduced the brilliant idea at a time when some people's ancestors where still roaming stack naked and killing lizards with catapults. If and if only you had someone like Awo, maybe things would have been different.
You are being ignored now as I entertain only free-born people🤝

It is about the followership he has in Nigeria.

Any human being who discovers he has the kind of followership Peter Obi discovered in 2023 would be desperate to give it another go.

Let's get real, Tinubu cannot defeat Obi in a free and fair election.
You claimed someone is not desperate and the same you, also typed this “Any human being who discovers he has the kind of followership Peter Obi discovered in 2023 would be desperate to give it another go

I like the name ADC, as it comes before APC alphabetically speaking. Yes, as little as it may sound, strategically speaking, it still makes sense. Patiently waiting for Peter Obi to give us a matching order and the street will erupts in frenzy. It's going to be Nigerians against APC. SIMPLE.
So you mean Peter Obi is going back to the structure and people he once called "the structure of criminality" and those who can’t think for themselves are going with him with no question asked? 😂😂😂
The person who coined the term “headless mob” should be placed on a sumptuous lifetime gratuity

My guy, you've said it all, iPhone is a luxury and meant for those who can afford it. There are cheaper options in android that can still deliver what most people need from a phone at a relatively cheaper price. My take is that most people that buy iPhone, buys it to show that they belong to a class
Why can’t people love two things at the same time without rubbishing one for the other? I use both OSes and each has its own peculiar strengths and weaknesses. Also, let’s stop criticizing people for buying , and using what their hearts really desire, after all, we all work to enjoy the benefits of our labors. I don’t work like a slave only to end up not getting what I desire just because some bloke on nairaland hates the thing and the people getting them.
I use IPhone for its simplicity, ruggedness, fluidity of Apps (esp social media apps) Whenever you need your iPhone, just pick it up and it does its works flawlessly. The restrictive nature helps protect you from hackers, spammers and phishers and because of this, I don’t even mistakenly put my banking apps and financial information on Androids and windows PCs. My android on the other hand is my go-to for productivity, fun tasks and plethora of other amazing things like screen-splitting and the rest. They are both amazing, just buy you what makes you happy and watch your creator bless you more, life is too short!

Of all the vices in Delta, this is the priority for DTSG. Na wa ooo. At least it will keep the bad boys busy until election when they can be unleashed.
This will even lead to a lot of conflicts because the law is not well-defined and as such, it will be interpreted and misinterpreted according to the perspective of each individual enforcing it. Since indecent dressing is a relative term, what’s considered decent to a con-artist pastor might be the height of indecency for an underaged-girls-loving, pedo Alhaji. In some cultures, a woman revealing her face is considered a grave sin

Why do some people derive joy in scavenging for any sad news from the east? Is it that their happiness depends on it or what?
Now, this is the problem with average Nigerians. Nobody wants to condemn any government once he’s their kinsman. You played this same card with us using Peter Obi, the same man you all condemned in 2012 is now being forced on us as the messiah.
Why should a sane human be more concerned about the fact that the news is brought to the media and not about finding a lasting solution to the problem?
If there was no erosion, would there be news about it? With this mentality of always protecting failures, Nigeria is not getting better any time soon and the most annoying thing is the fact that it’s these same people that constantly call other tribes tribalists and bigots undecided
Why should I be annoyed and mad seeing Tinubu’s failures being aired on the news for the world to see? So you mean his failures as a governor should be suppressed to protect my ego? Una no really Dey okay o. Like seriously

RomanceRe: How Did We Get Here? Nigerian Man Questions Gen Z Babes’ Luxury Demands by Wickedlywicked: 12:57pm On Jun 27, 2025
Chilipepper:
How did we get here? Man questions Gen Z babes’ luxury standards after lady says she wants a terrace in Guzape for a start 😩💸🤔
Blame that one on the mu mu men and their syndrome that is rapidly plaguing our society. MOTHERS SHOULD TALK SENSES INTO THEIR SONS. Train your sons to be able to attract women using his God-given manly skills and grace.
Most Nigerian young men boys now believe that the only way they can get a woman laid is by spending like the fraudsters that they are.
Most of you don’t even realize that these actions are the things making our women to have unrealistic expectations and thinking it’s normal for men to spend like thieves to get and satisfy them. Nigerian men are more loved and preferred by Ghanaian and South African women, do you know why? Yes, you guessed right, we spend like thieves. Don’t blame any lady billing you mercilessly since simple men would happily grant her demands if you can’t . This is the very reason why they must be eradicated off our society. Most African countries women don’t have this sick mentality that a man you’re not married to must be the one to shoulder all your life’s responsibilities since their men aren’t weak; they use their mouths to woo women rather than spending like thieves .
Nothing is wrong in spending on the person you profess to love but it’s just silly and unreasonable to make it a must. Spending on your woman should be something you do without being told or forced by women or the society. The other day, one lande was lamenting about how his “talking stage” called him a fool having spent over 100k on her😂
Bro no know say na fool him be true true. Stop making it seem like you MUST SPEND BEFORE GETTING THEM.

No, this is direct opposite. Their being hesitant about implementing the bill is an indication that it will favor the masses. Anything that won’t favor the common man is implemented with the speed of light. A very common example is the price of petrol, we witness immediate change when the price is hiked but when it’s back to normal, marketers will be hesitant to adjust their pump prices accordingly. This is the sad state of Nigeria

Abeggi. He’s exactly what she called him. Why are men now so weak these days? It’s obvious the guy was a big F judging from that chat. The chat was too annoying to read and it’s this silly mentality of spending lavishly to get women that’s destroying our society. Young boys no longer know how to properly woo the ladies they want and the ladies too are becoming spoilt beyond repair.
He wasn’t being gentle or generous, he’s exactly what the olosho called her. It’s obvious he was using the money and niceness to entice the girl, so it’s very wrong and silly to term his actions “gentlemanly” undecided

See,where ur kindness has landed u. Well,ur own even better,my own brother bought generator,TV,rented a shop for the lady, even relocated the lady to Lagos, fed her with his money. When she started doing well, she now realised he wasn't good for him.

Before u know it ,my brother refused to believe his eyes, the lady started dating a police man...na so my brother matter come worse pass before. He used his new found boyfriend to arrest my brother on three different occasions before he realised his mumuness and eventually left the lady.

Don't train ur girl friend nor open any business for her...u are only setting her up for another guy to marry tomorrow.
I’ve lost count on the number of times we’ve be preaching this very thing but will these simps ever listen?!
They are only making life harder for hardworking young men out there.
To the OP, carry your cross squarely since you’ve all sworn to be unrepentant simpsons. I don’t know the kind of weak men people keep birthing into our society these days; men who can’t entice women with their aura and mouths. They now believe spending like thieves is the only way to get women.
Again, when you spend heavily to upgrade a woman above yourself, you are ultimately preparing her for other men who are bigger than you because once a woman starts earning more than you, she naturally starts thinking you aren’t in the same league anymore. Men don’t think this way. We don’t discriminate against women from lesser financial backgrounds when we start making money. We hope and pray y’all have sense someday 😏

Ladies and gentlemen, world war iii fully activated, let the missiles start flying.

He has now dragged the US to another never ending war in the middle east, and what this means is:

Massive US budget deficits loading due to increase war spending.

Big distractions to critical issues like immigration, inflation, cost cutting programs.

Economic setbacks, the stock market might react negatively.Thank God I am observing proceedings jejely in my beloved Nigeria. grin

There is little doubt that MKO Abiola is the main hero of the current democracy we enjoy in this country.

However, his history as the number one military/government contractor from the 70's to the 80's can not be whitewashed.

His wealth was built on those splendid contracts that delivered little to no value for Nigerians, so I am not with those who believe he should be compensated for those kind off contracts.
Yes, you are very right and same applies to many Nigerian politicians and almost none of them is saint. How did Arthur Eze make his billions and what about the Obi who is being whitewashed as the most upright politician today? Who is actually the terrorist? The countries with Nuclear weapons or the one challenging them on why shouldn't they have same?
It's funny though
It’s simple. You see those countries that have nuclear weapons, they are so stable that they are never going to use them no matter the provocation. No matter what, Russia is never going to use it on Ukraine, India is never going to use it on Pakistan and vice versa and China is never going to use it on Taiwan or Hong Kong and the US is never ever going to use it on any country again and all this is partly because they all know the repercussions and because the world needs peace and allowing this weapon to full into the hands of a country that’s constantly chanting “death” to another country will be a big problem to deal with. I’m not supporting anyone but you sef reason am, they chant “death to Israel everyday and even openly sponsor terrorists even now that they don’t have this weapon, what do you think would happen if they finally get a hold of it?

Only in Nigeria you will see a Muslim in church and a Christian in mosque.
Few weeks ago Tinubu was attending a mass in a Catholic Church.

I'm not a tribal person but I want to say this.

Yoruba Muslims are not true Muslims. If you've lived in Lagos you will understand what I mean.

Did you know that some Yoruba Muslims attend church services? You'd mostly see them in weekly or especially church programs. Only a few attend Sunday programs.

I've witnessed at least 10 Yoruba Muslims who attend church services.

This shouldn't be news as an average Yoruba person has no true religion. Today you see him in church the next day in mosque while there's a shrine at his backyard.
You just aptly described how sane humans are supposed to be and this is something both the Easterner s and the northern people of this country are lacking.
It’s called religious tolerance and it’s very normal in a sane society. Also, as a political leader of a multicultural and multi religious society, it’s pertinent that you don’t show too much affinity to your culture/religion to the detriment of others. A good leader should have no religion in order for his sense of judgement to not be impaired by his religious convictions and sentiments.
A very good example of a sane society is the SW and even the United States of America where kings and Presidents are seen wining and dining with Christians, Muslims, traditionalists and Jews. It’s not uncommon to see United States Christian presidents visiting Jewish temples while wearing skull caps.

That's your own cup of tea sir... We all condemned Hamas for attacking Israel first and deserved everything the got. This too should be condemned by any sound and unbiased minds...
Comparing Israel’s action with that of Hamas isn’t a smart thing to say. Hamas attacked ambushed Israel, targeted and killed soft-targets who were not even armed or in the military while the Israeli first attacks were mainly targeted at armed and protected persons.
Secondly, your excuse about the Israeli first attacks is also not sensible because no serious country’s Generals and high-ranking officers should be killed like chickens while dismissing the attacks as “ambush”
What that shows is that Iran is an unserious country that can be taken out by surprise. Every serious country is ever ready to attack and respond to attacks, Iran is simply weak to have allowed such to happen. I would have called the Israeli attack a terror attack but such is not tenable since they were not targeted at unarmed civilians like Hamas did in that cowardly Oct 7 attacks. Flying several jets to another sovereign country to eliminate several generals, scientists and playing uninterrupted hide-and-seek in their airspace is just another level of “crase and balls” I can bet my left balls that Israel can’t even try such in the Nigeria airspace grin
