JMystique:Dunno. Myself, I simply use the much advertised MyUS service. I understand there are cheaper/faster options but MyUS has been good enough for me. I would suggest DHL rather than the USExpress/FedEx (or whatever it's called) for shipping, even if the latter is a bit cheaper. The slightly lesser cost, and even their premium service is cheaper than standard DHL (which seems to have just the one 'express' service, nothing else), doesn't make up for the efficiency of DHL when dealing with 9ja ^^opinions |
So, wow. This is a true story. Will need some time to digest that.. Need to confirm this is not some sort of alternate universe or something... And the peaceful cultists are already making threats ![]() |
MizMyColi:it's pretty clear. |
Kay17:too harsh. too true |
EvilBrain1:this your Lagos na wa. I left abj a while back and there was nothing near comparable, not to talk of the village I reside in now with pc I think the problem is their nature; they are purposely meant to handle a variety of tasks, multipurpise machines. for most owners gaming is an afterthought. a lucky convenience. the target market isn't even that large, I would say, excepting social games eg mmorpgs which usually don't require powerful rigs to use. the cost of getting said powerful rigs puts most people out of the equation. so inevitably, a lot of 'casuals' there. and casuals will pay you, gladly, 2 dollars for angry birds. but 60$ for a game that requires dedication and might not even run well on their system? as for consoles, the issue has been analyzed from everywhere all over the world. at the end, I like to think the numbers speak for themselves. for each generation the most successful was the one easiest to hack, mostly (unless you don't consider Wii a direct competitor to ps3/xbox360. and even amongst those 2, it took a hell of a long time for ps3 to catch up, despite the unprecedented margin of victory it held immediately previously. a margin I would say they lost because they suddenly became hugely less accessible, especially due to lack of piracy. similar to how high tech gaming rigs aren't accessible solely because of price. ps3 had pricing issues of course, but that wasn't the only issue) for the most part, the argument is people who pirate weren't going to buy the game anyhoo, so the companies lose out on some sort of 'viral' advertizing. eg you, now that you have the means you're paying for games you would never have come across were it not for.....piracy Nigerians in general sha no get conscience. and steam is a good idea no matter which way you look at it. this is just a light justsaying in a sense. (tomb raider was on consoles as well BTW, and considered a failure there as well despite decent numbers. squeenix just loves Bleep everything up, they spent a wee to much advertizing and other such follies. don't let me even start on how they ra.ped the ff series. other issues, of course, but a justsaying. and this current gen is is already immediately more accessible than the last due to price, good on them) |
EvilBrain1:who are these people in 9ja that have the bandwidth to do this? anything readily commercially available? for instance, I have PS+ but its essentially useless, excepting indie/psn games (got it bevause if NEPA, try having 80+ hours of single file save games like dark souls wiped out and you'd understand my pain). rather than pay silly money for bandwidth I just order from Amazon they too are cheap after a few months. not steam cheap but still very low. just order quite a few to offset shipping costs etc... all that said, I'm not sure piracy harms a consoles success. it may even aid it |
this is a true gem one for the ages. timeless 10 years from now, people will still be talking about how foo.lish the op is |
finofaya:according to Google, your email doesn't exist. send me another abeg |
musKeeto:most of them are already in it for the money, eg pascals wager. yet here they are that Muslim thing, I feel u well well. I've given up something similar (definitely not immediately as much though. longterm? yes) and would do so again in a heartbeat, with a big nice smile on my face but that's just me. it's not particularly easy, especially if it occurs before financial security, so I don't advice it. |
Heathen:Not for everyone, bros. Try binging "orgasm during bukake". I enjoyed the results |
SNCOQ3:Please don't. I try to avoid people who should know better, unless they are actively being douches. Though I'm not sure if you qualify as 'should know better' If you must though, and I do love to hear myself speak SNCOQ3:As the shitfy agent above suggests (which kind agent of allah speaks like that?!) you just basically repeated what OlaAjia said, something you seem to have just finished contending. Performed it and also cleanly fell into his predicted pitfalls, though you don't know hat yet. You just finished formulating your own language, in a sense, to try to pass your mysteriousnesseses as logical. However, your axioms are not our axioms. Is this what is called hypocrisy? Not sure. On the issue of math and reality generally, consider a basic example; there's no such thing -5 cups of garri in nature. There is, of course, 'no garri'. What I mean is you cannot show me these -5 cups physically, whereas I could show you 5 cups of garri easily. But mathematically they do exist, and when I apply this concept of negative numbers to reality, guess what? It adds up. It manifests. You can rigorously verify this logically and even observe the concepts in nature if you please. You can also note how the concept of negative numbers seamlessly integrates into well established, universal laws. Truisms, or whatever terms you want to use to call them, not simply conjecture. Ditto other concepts (not the conjectures, bros), eg imaginary numbers I'm confused as to how you can show 1+1+1=1 can hold up in any way relevant to my case, or voids it; that there are basic objective, universal laws applicable by default. In fact, you're trying to use them now to justify your stance. The one true language I speak of is definitely not conjecture or anything similar. If it were, it wouldn't be universally, objectively true, or would it? So it looks to me like you speak of something else. And again, you sound very similar to ola, whom you just now seemed to be objecting to.... As for the math itself, don't need google to know the simples. Eg, 3 triangles can equal 1 triangle. But alas, that's not the point per say. And frankly, I smell a measure of subterfuge in your approach, but I won't dwell on the details. (I mean, as allah's man notes, you call the conjecture true, just after claiming conjectures are neither true or false....) Anyways, indulging you, even with that, you'll piss over logic. Especially as you're using those judeoxtian fables. eg, ola noted your version of this 3 triangles law would be... ola: Many humans don't see mathematical truths as objective, like when some say god is a 3 in 1 entity, each part of the 3 being as whole as the 1 whole. You see the problem there, I hope? It seems so, as you counter and claim that's not what the bible says or means. Cool. Not your stance you say. You'll now lead us through another of the innumerable feats of gymnastics (that ultimately never add up sensibly, at all) you guys seem to have in your bag of cheap tircks, but you went get very far. eg, like just now, your you: In what we understand as 'the principle of headship' The Father is God, Jesus is God, Holy Spirit is God yet one (composite unity not solitary unity) just like a man and his wife are co-equal in nature, two distinct entities yet are one: I can only represent this with geometric symbols. However, we'll show you multiple examples of how this, and your varied other counters you may have, are inconsistent with the rest of the axioms established in your very own set of jewish fairy tales, easily. Let alone with those of reality. Inevitably, the round and round would lead to; "his ways are not our ways". Just as ola noted. In fact, you already claim we may never understand sef... there's more, to much to go through to properly treat this, at least using my style to explain stuff, so meh. And deists etc, please don't assume this applies only to judeoxtians. Depending on your version of deism or whatever, this would apply. To you, me, all. But the judeoxtians are the standard we can only dream of emulating. Whar-a-garbl over-emporors And EDITS |
OlaAjia:but, but his axioms are not our axioms. just as his ways are not our ways... I prefer beating into them that they might disagree and twist as much as they want, assign whatever values and stories help them sleep at night etv, but there is that one language which is universal, and it doesnt lie. but alas |
rationalmind:he does, especially as if I'm not mistaken, it's a nonsheepletitis xtians troll account. I think he was born 74 the others though, don't have an excuse.... |
Ubenedictus:let's start with the double speak. don't worry about the rest, yet... |
Ubenedictus:Bros, ignoring other stuff, that is double speak |
OlaAjia:later on you'll claim we're mates, but I'll leave it at that scientific truths have always been provisional, obviously, but this a whole new game entirely. and it's not like say mathematical uncertainty. a claim like omniscience for instance, how can one verify that? how can one know something he doesn't know? ( a glaring, simple flaw some folk lalalala) talk of dimensions so small we cannot perceive them even with today's best equipment. stuff we may never be able to perceive, eg branching universes. these examples being valid scientific hypothesis. we can't even be sure this universe isn't some (admittedly very complex, nigh on impossible) simulation this sort of subjectivity would apply to everything, science or not. everything, gods very much included. I've always accepted that but never before seen it the way you express it here, with typical clarity where does this leave abstract truths such as mathematical truths? deduction/induction etc. how are they classified, etc. those remain unaffected, no? |
felicia01:I hope your efforts go somewhere. good luck. I fear you may need it , sadly |
gatiano:post of the year undoubtably |
(Uber-boring, hip series) Tales of the nadir, part 2, episode 1 My mama mentions marriage, the amount of sheer rage radiating from my eyes lets her know she needs thread lightly. So she sighs, changes topic, then bids her time. She'll be back, more subtly perhaps, better prepared. But she'll inevitably fail, again. It's not like I've tossed the notion of getting married my through a window, so why that response? I simply am a creature of logic. I cannot understand how a woman who was dressing down a female that was in my place (she wasn't even visiting me, but a friend) a year or two ago has the gall to mention marriage to me. This is ignoring all the bull she put me through during my adventures (and misadventures) during my more experimental years. When my pipi put a certain other organ on a pedestal, and decided to dictate to the rest of my body what it should do. Needless to say, we had a talk later that day after I found out about the incident, and her visits are now a lot less frequent. Indeed, when around, she barely comes into the house anymore. So, she's never actually helped matters, but here she is talking of marriage. She seems to think I should be getting married just for her. To a nice, hand picked waifu by her. I cannot compute this level of selfishness. These asinine traditions. Daring to suggest importing one from whichever service for me. I don't get it, there's a market this people go to buy these women?! And that's it, two strangers, then happily ever after?! Wait, don't answer that. My bahdt. I mean, even my brother, not so long ago.... Anyways, why this episode? Because I was again discussing with some dude, one I mentioned earlier sometime somewhere, who's married to his 15 year old with 2 kids, about various things. He too going on about how 'aure yana da dadi'. His wife's traveled and now that he's smoking weed and apprehensive of the impending munchies, what to do? Apparently little waifu would have solved his issue with open, loving arms and a plate of tuwo. But now, what to do? This being the same punk that never really exactly sprints home from work. Whenever he can, ie whenever he fancies his chances of catching me in a reasonably tolerable mood, he's at my place smoking weed and popping pills like the cookie monster till as late as he can manage. Why he can't do that in his own house? Oho. I mean, I don't even smoke weed... TBC, maybe. And there's a point, maybe |
err, good genius josh, and your excellent science from answering genesis, in what universe did some scientist, a real one ie, tell you the evolution violates the second law? what of say, the formation of mountains, rivers, stars or snowflakes. do they also violate the second law? |
felicia01:It doesn't look inappropriate to me. Simply treating a revolting bigot the way he deserves to be treated, but that's just me. If anything were going to be banned it would be the post, not your thread. Just report it using the 'report' button below it and if a mod deems it inappropriate he'll take action. That said, if your thread is eventually hidden, and it likely will, it would simply be as a result of it being about LBGT. In fact, many other similar threads have already been deleted. Apparently, it's now illegal to even mention the term LBGT. I don't know about you but I think that's a GARGANTUAN problem. So, whatever organization you work for, I hope they can at least appreciate that we all deserve basic rights regardless of what the majority might think. I hope they set out to protect minorities from the tyranny of the masses and don't use the excuse of 'culture' to turn a blind eye. If they do, then the results of that poll are useless. ie unless you intend to use them to figure out just how much work is needed to educate our innumerable sheeple. I filled it regardless, but I hope that wasn't a waste of time. |
decepticos:It came about before naruto sef. All shonen mango generally use the same tropes, that's why it would seem to some like mango x is copying mango y. One could easily claim they all copied dragonball for instance, but even that isn't the genesis of the shonen mango. This is also why, imo, anime like code geass stand out. They don't follow the most popular, usual formula, even if they are not exactly original themselves. |
spotit:How did you know it was 'disgusting'? You enjoyed that, didn't you? You perverse fellow you.. ![]() Public forum, yet a "don't talk to me"... Don't make asinine comments then. Maybe I'd then give you the attention you deserve. Ie, absolutely non. You've answered nor presented anything so far. You seem closeted and claim otherwise, yet refuse to show how. Claim homosexuality is somehow bad, yet do not remotely show how? Is this how you usually operate? Amazing |
spotit: spotit:Sorry ohhhhh. Abeg. Please, accept this as an apology. Even though I never instigated anything per say. I mean, you called me gay first, no? And you consider gay being offensive (for some mysterious reason), no? |
spotit:Evil words.... WTF do you think I care? What is wrong with you?? Abi you think santa won't visit me on xmas due to these 'evil words'? You've answered nothing yet. Getting back to it, why do you keep seeing homos everywhere? It's a classic sign of being closeted. If you're really gay, why do you think that would be a bad thing? |
spotit:You didn't answer anything. Why do you have a problem with your being gay? There's absolutely nothing wrong with it. You should be proud. Lots of gay people have contributed positively to our cause. Eg the computer you use atm is built on the work of one of your fellow homosexuals. Excellent work, no? |
SmellMyFart:This is nobel prize winning stuff... I hope you won't complain when people from other races start tossing bananas at you |
spotit:Have you heard of Freudian slips? People often times let their inner emotions, conflicts, etc, blurt out into the open when confronted by their demons. There's not even a hint of my being a homosexual in that post. So, why do you assume I'm one? Just as you jumped to the conclusion that I meant you were browsing for pron and hence the poor grammar, when I clearly didn't. Is this a case of 'guilty conscience'? |
Brisingr:Not necessarily. If he succeeds, he gets a chance to reset their world, and by extension the cycle of violence. Which doesn't really seem to be getting solved (despite naruto-kuns efforts). Other Danzos will rise, as a necessity, war is inevitable. Human nature demands that (NOTE: though this is a shonen mango, I understand that, and they might be cooking up a way to make everyone 'truly understand each others hearts'. Standard shonen trope since....gundam I think. Good luck to them, in their shonen world. IRL, doesn't really work, not with the way humans are now. Maybe if we evolve, a la gundam again..round and round, complicated, anyways....). Sure, they were warring before Kaguya brought an end to that with the fruit, then became crazy, but how's that changed? I mean, they routinely use child soldiers. Every village in their world would look up to Bonny as a hero. Ninjas have too much power and are likely holding them back. Resetting everything may be the way to go. No more ninjutsu. No more cold and open wars. Learn new ways to deal with $hit. So I, for one, welcome our new douche bag overlord Sasuke. And Lelouch simply translates to fabulous. Look it up in a dictionary. https://img1.ak.crunchyroll.com/i/spire4/8620cad486eb37ec47e758f1cd47a4ad1283599857_full.jpg |
