TheBigUrban2: Hehe...I knew you wouldnt disappoint.oooohhh boy..... Edit; speaking of that sef, it's not so straight forward perhaps |
TheBigUrban2: Wiegraff and co, know how to discuss extreme topicsWhile somewhat glad to be hinted at being a master of the perverse (not so true but hey, why not?), I do wonder why you ask atheists specifically.... Ok ok, *reads above posts....* Ok. So, without casting stones and knee jerks, that's how you want to discuss? I personally don't think American's are any more obsessed with it than the norm. Yes, lot's of folk are hypocritical and lie when they express outrage, etc etc. For instance, it's no coincidence that books/series like the one that was a fanfic, of "Twilight" methinks, '50 shades of grey' (or 'normal', I forget the exact name) went on to become a best seller during the age of the kindle and iPad; women can now go about reading their smut without getting caught. So, it turns out many of them fantasize about being the whip toy of some alpha male, who would have thunk! Is the hypocrisy justifiable? For say cultural reasons or the greater good? Well, that depends on who you ask, the situation, etc. But again, don't see them being more obsessed with it than say the Japanese.... I mean, they even have self-sest (where a male xter clones himself as female then....never mind) in manga/anime aimed at teens/young adults. Not to say it's endemic in Japan either, they're simply less hypocritical generally IMO, and stuff like cousin marriages are not taboo's culturally (same here in the North, actually). Any country given the means though would display similar trends, frankly. |
TheBigUrban2: yesthat was one of his threads iirc. certainly wasn't mine, I was simply on it |
actually, I do often wonder why his like aren't locked up. then the sillyness of such a notion hits me. in this society, brimming with desperate sheeple, his type will never be persecuted. indeed, the oga will be revered as a hero by most... illustrates how oftentimes a benign dictatorship is better than a democracy. democracies mostly pay dividends only when a population has reached a certain level of intellectual maturity, even if a basic one sheeple sef seem sort of aware of this, so they sneer at silly humanists for putting their faith in that most illogical of species; us. they then go on to introduce their own dictator, allegedly wiser than us petty humans, guess who? good working by the mods |
TheBigUrban2:Possibly. He's got many on that particular cancer, which one do you speak of? Also, look through my 'topic' history, a few of them are directly related to his posts. Sign up for his newsletter, random gems pop up (though infrequently) |
TheBigUrban2: Wassap? I want to ask you somethingSince when did you care for decorum and other such trite nonsense? Just ask |
Search long and hard, look for a weakness, a flaw. You will fail. They have no case. Light came first. |
Bump |
TheBigUrban2: Where is Weigraff?Busy, busybody |
op, you want us to be cowardly, like you? |
an 'atheist' asserting there is/are gods, then calling others confused... |
musKeeto: Probably just a fart. Anyways, what are spirits supposed to look like? White and translucent?See, if you walka, young minds won't have anything to feast on. Many of them are influenced by you (and sadly, lb. That's why I voted for him that time). Hope say na only holiday you do? |
Those traps are pretty vicious. Perhaps there's a less painful way to get rid of the critters. Other than that, yup, looks legit. |
even if this is tales by moonlight; NO!! when next happening, make your way there and do something. bullies usually only understand one thing tho violence from either spouse is simply unacceptable. violence generally is unacceptable. tell your god that even if he states otherwise. unless, of course, you're a slave |
no, op, as you've deduced (and most people wouldn't notice this, credit to you, so likely you don't lack intelligence, at least emotionally) you are not naturally attuned to the tasks. you say you're a people person? well, no. the natural programmers are obsessed logic. people aren't logical, so you tend to infuriate us to no end. for instance, I'd rather be nailed to a cross than take up a post as a marketer, a job that requires 'people' skills. even if I assumed you an introvert, you'd have no problem with marketing, no? consider something in the humanities, teaching kids, marketing, psychology if you've got the brains etc etc. not something steeped in cold, hard logic like programming that said of course anyone can learn to program (or just about anything else), you could even be good at it. but it won't be a natural match for you |
CHARLOE: @ Mazaje. Plaeton, i've a lot of respect 4 u guys n ur opinions, it's partly cos of pple like u i started seeing tins in a new lite. U guys sound inteligent so it bafles me how u can c somtin as complex as d human body, each part working in perfect harmony wit others, hw all our physical n emotional n physiological atributes are stored in our gene n hw d reproductn process produces animals of same specie n features, goat produce goat not dog, birds giv birth 2 birds n of same specie. HUmans dont giv birth 2 half animal half human etc if we had say, 50percent of animals repr diff species frm d norm or animal, in d process of evolution, den i'll understand wher u'r coming frm. (Yes som are born disabled, but wat is d percentage, and there's Usualy a reason 4 dat kind of ocurence. Or d case of man/woman sleeping wit an animal n giving birth 2 half human half animal, these ar rare n xplainable, not d norm). Talk more of d solar sys suspended in spce by invisible forces, working in perfect precision 4 millenia, d billions of galaxies in d universe, etc etc brooosss wetin, una dey fall hand! Conclusion: no amount of randomness n chaos in billions of yrs, can bring about d kind of inteligent design we c in n around us, replicated tru reproduction, 4 millenia, d. Probability is nil! I've bin a xtian all my life until recently, wen i started tinking out of d box. Now i descr mysef as a truth seeker, n agree dat 'holy books' like d bible, koran etc may b man-made n used 4 control, it does not change d fact dat d inteligent dsine around us were made by a super inteligent, superhuman creator(s). U cant c a car n say it evolved randomly, ova bilions of yrs, imposicant! CHARLOE: D fact dat natural disasters like eartquak, vocanic eruptn, tsunami etc ocur ocasionaly, does not change dat fact. Abi if u bought a car brand new n after 5yrs it stats giving u probs ocasionaly; flat tire, dents, brake failure etc will u now conclude ur car was not manufactured by enginEers, but appeared randomly by chance? You miss his points completely. For instance, you talk of numbers and probabilities, do you know just how incredibly large this universe is? Yet we can only confirm life such as ours on this tiny little spec? No radio waves in any direction with a hint of intelligence behind them. You, as an intelligent designer, would you spend 4 billion years haphazardly and chaotically building this planet or something similar. An asteroid slightly changes direction in this unpredictable universe, and that's it, there would be no more life on this planet. How many other planets are there in our solar system alone, essentially useless and even hazardous, completely, as far as you, I or any carbon-based life are concerned? Do you also how many billions of species have evolved and/or become extinct? And also, of these billions, do you know how many managed to attain our sort of consciousness? A fly could have wiped out homo sapiens. Even today, have you noted ebola? Imagine a flurry of such outbreaks during humanity's nascence, do you think we'd have survived? Modern Africa can't even deal with it effectively, let alone our more ignorant ancestors. You talk of perfect design, do you know how many organs in your body could be much, much better? Start with your eyes, compare them to that of an eagle. Or one of the more prominent and elementary examples; as an intelligent designer would have come up with the human reproductive system? One so flawed it is responsible for more deaths through history than any other factor? You do realize many other species (likely most, and by some distance) have much better systems in place? These, and the cacophony myriad problems are in no way perfect, you just translate the so because of your bias. It is chaos, motley patchwork that would just do. It's like seeing a 3 tired kerosine powered car and claiming it perfect. Heck, it's like seeing a unicycle and claiming it perfect to take you from Lagos to Abuja. Sure kerosine keke napep may run, but do you really think it a superior design to any petrol powered vehicle with 4 wheels? And we, as intelligent designers, we'll continue to refine and perfect our design, till we have say fully environmentally friendly AI controlled cars, in which the chances of one having an accident even if say insanely drunk become near nil. You're already talking about 'invisible' forces keeping the earth in planet. Something easily explained (though still being studied) hundreds of years ago; gravity, bosons, etc. Claiming invisible force is already very close to speaking like the typical xtians you at least recognize are terribly confused. Perhaps you should describe your god. Does he have a plan, intentions or no (particularly with us, the human race)? Is he omnixx.x. etc etc |
moneyandpower: where are the pagas, wicca, etc?Are you any of these? |
err, you engage italo, what do you expect? It's a programmed parrot.. Incapable of thought or action without input from its master; the shinning pillar of all that is decent and human, The Catholic Church (I put it in capital letters mockingly, btw) Na una time to waste sha... I really shouldn't be the one talking about wasting time tho' |
Image123: Oh shut up already about ebola. Life doesn't start or end there. An individual like you or Peter may have faith to believe in Jesus and be saved, which is saving faith. The same individual may not have enough faith for miracles or walking on water. Go and figure that. You people have no shame whatsoever... It's remarkable.... Endearing too...lovingly foo.lish |
I was having a 'discussion' about variety of stuff, including with how Koro works with some dude. A grown a$$ 30+ year old, married man with 2 kids (whose wife, btw, is in SS1 or so. No they aren't twins. Yes she's at the very most 16 now. Both incredibly proud of their 'achievements'. And he does indeed treat her like furniture, in a sense. Eg, actively seeking my help in his quest for wife no 2, pondering if he'll let her go to uni or no, etc etc. That's the north for you) Anyways, after getting him to admit that what he saw was a shrunken pipi, and not something that had completely disappeared, I also went on to point out that inevitably, and this has always been the case, the pipi would return to it's normal size within a day or two, regardless of what anyone does. His response? By then the jazz men would have finished with the it, and thus would be returning damaged goods.... Ah, sorry, anyways, so we got to talking about jazz etc, and he mentions this Ali Kwara and his remarkable feats. I wish recorded it. However he claimed that Anini trumps Kwara. Hard to imagine, considering he made claims like Kwara was capable of transforming into objects such as video game controllers. Therefore, I now seek a suitable wordsmith to beguile me with tales of Anini's even more infamous, legendary exploits and abilities. Shina Rambo's wiki looks more interesting though wiki: Shina Rambo (born c. 1963) is a former bandit who terrorised South-West Nigeria in the 1990s. After serving jail-time for his crimes, he was converted by an evangelist and became a Christian evangelical pastor.Shina Rambo now Mathew Oluwanifemi was a name that sent shivers down the spine of people who lived in the South West of Nigeria and even outside Nigeria, like Benin Republic and neighborhood, in the 1990’s.This will be tough to beat. These people seem to be nearly on par with chuck norris. Any more tales about legendary Nigerian armed robbers are welcome. Anyone? |
Hmm, what of Anini? |
pls, has anyone here heard of Ali kwara? |
Baboons, monkeys in cages = sheeple. No covering that. Monkeys not caged up are likely smarter in some respects, due to their being less ignorant See, from all indications, those heathen oyinbos could have cured this virus, at least taken care of it via a vaccine, a lllooonnnnggg time ago if they cared. They didn't. Now that it's hit their shores the big pharmas have taken notice, they can sense a profit, so already vaccines are on their way and will be readily available by next year. Sure, they didn't start working on them just now, but its place on their list of priorities has just sky-rocketed Meanwhile black man was praying or visiting jazz men, giving 10% of his cash to Adebayo rather than say medical research, waiting for various 'miracle' cures to all manner of ailments and misfortune, etc, and denouncing oyinbo, who indoctrinated you no less, as immoral f.ools. I mean, we even have a "PhD" on here that asserts there's no evidence for evolution... (If I have to tell you how that is relevant, then no worries, this post isn't for you. I'll just state; this is the kind of science you produce. Along with a professor who claims that a paper which uses magnets to prove homosexuality is bad is 'germane'...) Nigeria, and most of Africa in general, you get what you deserve. See the $hitstorm that is this glorious continent? You deserve all of it. All of it. I mean I can make exceptions for those that are truly ignorant. Being ignorant isn't a crime. But when professionals like the above mentioned are the norm, and desperado, informed sheeple selfishly or stoopidly laps up their stories.... You get what you deserve. Simple Still struggling with malaria, something they got rid off over a hundred years ago. Mitigating factors? Oho.. A hundred years should cover quite a lot of mitigating factors from where I'm seated... And all the other nonsense about vaccines making you sterile... because some sheeple lord said so You are FFFFFFFOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLSSSSSSS |
deb6: Hmm once in a week....... Once a week.... Look at what religion as done to you..... Chei! Anyways, let's take wiki wiki: Frequency of masturbation is determined by many factors, e.g., one's resistance to sexual tension, hormone levels influencing sexual arousal, sexual habits, peer influences, health and one's attitude to masturbation formed by culture; E. Heiby and J. Becker examined the latter.[25] Medical causes have also been associated with masturbation.[26][27][28]Note, with wiki it's a good idea to check sources, and as you can see, they have lots in this case. So, it seems like they are saying exactly what I'm trying to get across. I know of females that masturbate 6x a day. You see the numbers that say 95% of men? Well, the 5% that claim they do not, they are lying. Pope, mullah, father xmas, all lying (though, again, tbf frequencies usually lessen with age). At least something like 99% has been cited in other (anonymous) studies. Why would they lie? Because, like you, they've been brainwashed and now laddened with misplaced guilt. I know the rate amongst females is lower, again because of aforementioned 'guilt', chastity and a host of other double standards blah blah blah in most cultures, but it's still very normal amongst females as well. So what in the world are you worried about?? Once a week?! ------------------------------------------ Anyways, once again, there is nothing, absolutely nothing, wrong with what you're doing. In fact, many would say it's healthy. Just as brushing your teeth daily is recommended, a self-service every so often (certainly not everyday though, unlike cleaning your teeth) is advised. The only objection you have is that the 2000 year old storybook says it's a sin. And well... For instance, Islamically, you have to wash your behind with water after you take a $hit. If there's no water around then you must sand! If there's no sand around, then you should use a rock!! Toilet paper? No, no, that's haram. You have to pray while entering, and you must enter left foot first, then leave with the right foot, else, haram!!! Why Because haram!!! You cannot speak while in there. You know why? Harram!!! How does that sound to you? Crazy, bunkers and silly, no? That's exactly what you're doing now. You admit you harm no one, yet the action is bad simply because storybook says so?!. Now, it becomes a problems when it's a an addiction, and that applies to just about any sort of addiction, even say addictions to caffeine. If you're doing it just once a week, a rather low rate, then you're clearly not an addict. This sort of irrationality in thinking, brought about by religious beliefs, is the major cancer that plagues our society. People stop thinking for themselves. Worse off in our case, it's from foreign religions that the foreigners themselves are abandoning. Please, learn to think for yourself. There's absolutely nothing to feel guilty about. And don't follow silly traditions just because. kudos |
Aaaannnddd, you still haven't answered anything, while also being wrong. Here's the fact; most people enjoy masturbating, just as you do. A lot. In fact any dude that tells you he doesn't beat the monkey is lying. Take that to the bank. You get older, the law of diminishing kicks in and it becomes less and less frequent, but unless you physically get rid of your pipi, it will get self-serviced every so often. It is perfectly natural. Your god created hormones, no? You should watch bonobos at it if you think humans take it far. And most don't feel any guilt or whatever because, again, clearly they aren't harming anyone. Do note that the only people that make a big deal out of this are those obsessed with the 2000 year old fable book and its cousins. The part you haven't answered though is; this 'addiction', who is it harming? Does it, for instance, get in the way of your work? Since you're already anonymous, tell me, how frequently do you indulge in it? |
deb6: Itz a sinAccording to a 2000 collection of fables that claims a donkey talked, yes it is deb6: very normal to feel guilty after commiting such act..No, actually, most people feel really good both during and after. That's why you keep doing it over and over again, no? |
Petty scientists have already come up with vaccines, being tested and hopefully available by next year. Experimental cures are also being used in US, though we can't too much stock in those just yet. God, on the hand, has been busy creating the virus, so you silly atheists should cut him some slack |
deb6: It makes me feel guilty and i do throw up(vomit) after doing it..Yes, and my question is; why do you feel guilty over doing something that is 100% natural? Especially when you're clearly not harming anyone, including yourself? It is completely safe unlike say random s.ex with some stranger, yes? |
Other than wasting time (and that varies), how does it harm you? |
Err, I'm confused here. When you masturbate, who do you harm? |
timmy2409: I'm not sure whether or not DI ever folded up. I only recently found them, and I've damn near spent entire days reading their articles. Too many good ones to go through! This is one of the more interesting ones I read recently. I can see this technology experiencing widespread used in the future. If you can get happiness at the push of a button, then why the f**k not?I'd f.ucking fund it now!! They will work around drilling into your skull, me hopes. Regardless, stuff like drilling into your skull or altering genes before you're even born (and after) will eventually become normal for a variety of reasons. Inevitably. Even ideas far out for other reasons, eg moneyless societies, will come to pass. Provided we don't blow ourselves up first, ie I'm sure most people thank themselves for being born in such and such era (I mean, we have the internets! and no slaves!!), but future generations would look back and wonder how did we live like this? Without replicators (a la 3d modelers) in every house and slow 500mb HDDs?? 20, 30 years ago techies were making statements like "No one will need more than 637 kB of memory for a personal computer" (apparently it wasn't Gates) Ah, yes, DI. Still not sure if they've gone under. They published a book amongst other things in order to raise funds (they actually do research their stuff more or else professionally). So still not sure if they're fully operational. ie; publishing newer articles. timmy2409: I did read about the John Frum cargo cults already in the The God Delusion. It's a funny but sad reality about human nature and how superstitions, and essentially religions are propagated. Leave that sh*t to stew for another century and see poor peeps yelling on the future talk spaces (or whatever they have) about how John Frum has promised an eternal life of cargo for his followers in the afterlife.I forgot about that. And his version's even funnier.... timmy2409: That song is indeed beautiful, but how is it related to Ypsilanti? I listened, but got lost in the melody every time LOL, so much so I actually never heard her say anything about Jesus.I thought I quoted a version with the song's full title, my mistake. It's called "For the Widows in Paradise, For the Fatherless in Ypsilanti" (he's also got songs titled "Come On! Feel The Illinoise!: Part I: The World's Columbian Exposition/Part II: Carl Sandburg Visits Me In A Dream". Think he likes titles dramatic). And after about a year of listening to it, the internets pointed out to me, again, how dense I am. Lyrics; sufjan: I have called you childrenSo yeah, (rather obviously to anyone less dense than I am that spent that much time with it) he's singing about his Lord and Savior (somehow mortal, afraid of death, yet god), sacrificing himself to save you from himself. He likes to claim otherwise though, and it can be interpreted differently, but considering his history, laced with allusions to his faith, really.. To his credit, he thinks Jusus would save you even if you 'don't have a father', ie don't believe in yahweblahlblahlbla or any god, unlike many of our esteemed NL xtian thinkers |
Religion at its best. Omnipotent god readily creates sinful beings so he can roast them forever. He's good, yet he's creating sin. One can go on and on and on and on |
