Not that I don't appreciate artistry but what is the economic cum academic value of photoshops?

My problem is the blackman dey overdo, even the Oyinbo who introduced this app never use am like us.

These apps including games are making undergraduates fail massively these days. Many can devote hours to frivolities and inanities (in my opinion) like these but can hardly spend an hour on reading life changing books yet they heap undeserved curses on lecturers when the fail.

Please go online and google Graphics Designer jobs in Nigeria.

Family / Re: Is It Right For A Mother To Keep Beating Her Adult Son At Age 22 ? by wildguy(m): 10:45am On Jul 09, 2016
Everyone supporting beating an adult as a method of correction should then see nothing wrong in a husband beating his wife as a means of correction.

Domestic violence is domestic violence irrespective of who is dishing it out or who is receiving it.

I think the replies on this thread pretty much sums up majority of Nigerians.

They would go with whatever they want to believe even if they have contradictory evidence placed before their eyes.

Romance / Re: Guys, Let's Expose The Ladies. by wildguy(m): 10:09pm On Jan 11, 2016
It happened when I was 10. We had this maid that stayed with us because we had an extra room.
That night my parents went to an office party.
We washed clothes so I decided to fold all of them and took hers to her room.

Entered the room and it was like she was waiting for me. She grabbed me put my hands down to her p***y. Felt something sticky and hairy.

Didnt know what was happening at that moment.

When she was done. She cleaned me up and told me to go and sleep.

2 days later, I came back from school and found out that she packed her bags and left. Nobody knew where she went.

Btw nobody in our family knows what happened till this day.

Celebrities / Re: I Was Amazed By The Traffic In Lagos - Trey Songz by wildguy(m): 1:49pm On Dec 20, 2015
ikkkkk:
Really last Friday's traffic in Lagos was a mega one. We left V.I by 4pm got home by 8:30pm. We didn't really see what caused the traffic as we proceeded. One of the worst traffics I've ever witnessed in Lagos. That traffic was mad.

Dude you did not see traffic! I have left V.I at 5pm and got to berger at 11pm. It was sometime around May. And funny enough i did not see the cause of the traffic.

Just got response from the French embassy in Lagos after 6 weeks of applying. This is coming after several joint visits and appeals at the Lagos consulate by applicants for the past 2 weeks. But I am positive that of others (some applying since early June) will follow suit asap.

My Rule No 1 of applying for student visa in France : # Apply via the Abuja Embassy no matter what it takes. French Consulate is as 'bureaucratic' as the word itself and could take months to process.

My application has entered the 5th week. How do you manage to visit the Lagos Consulate since they do not allow individuals inside. I am called them multiple times and written to them twice. I am even thinking of writing to them this Friday. School session starts in two weeks time and kind of lost on what to do.

Remove the url from the your design source and programmatically add it as an attribute. You can define your logic there.

There are other alternatives depending on the parent control that is housing the postbackurl.

Crime / What Is Wrong With Our Police? by wildguy(m): 5:29pm On Dec 14, 2014
Two days ago, on my way home from work around 9pm, I was stopped by some police men for carrying a laptop. The mistake I made was I did not have the receipt and my ID on me. They put me in a danfo bus and headed to their station. On the way they picked up anybody they saw that had a bag on them. There was even a guy that had a laptop with him with his ID card and receipt that they picked "cause he was walking around with a laptop alone". They seized all our phones till we got to the police station.

When we got to the police station they separated those of us that had laptops from those that didn't. All of us with laptops were branded yahoo boys. They told us to turn on our systems so they can analyse what was on the system. When I switched on my own they saw visual studio with codes and sql server open (I am a developer) and they concluded that that was the software that I use in scamming my clients. After punching and slapping me for not telling them the truth of how I do my operation (they opened my yahoomail account and saw nothing that suggested that I was a yahoo guy), they packed my bag with my laptop and locked me in a cell(there were about 20 guys in the cell). They allowed me to make some calls before they locked me up.

My folks later came to bail me out around 2 in the morning and can you imagine that after collecting money for bail they asked for money from me to collect my belongings that was with them (They said I had to pay for the fuel money)

I got home and I was thinking

a. Are we saying that someone with a laptop cannot work around with it, even if the person has a receipt and an ID card?
b. How many people have they kept in the cell without any just reason or just cause "they were walking alone"?
c. Is there no agency that punishes law enforcers for abusing their power?
d. What training do the officers go through for them to separate a developer, photo editor, graphics designer from a yahoo guy?
e. How do we want to develop ourselves in the field of ICT when everybody that carries a laptop is called a yahoo guy?
