Go and get ivermectin injectable if u know how to inject your pet..it's not hard at all...

......all these powder or liquid applied on the skin are not the best option...they could get into your dogs system one way or another which could be poisonous...I lost one of my dogs way through one of these topical tick control


Besides u have thick coat pet, these powder cannot efficiently get to where all the ticks are

I would have gotten her the injection but I don't know how and to find a good vet in my area is hard, the one I buy the sprays and soap from doesn't give injections or rather can't give injections so I'm pretty much stumped

I don spend tire, like I said in my first post I've been buying different soaps and sprays from the vet. My location is quite far from the nearest veterinary clinic and that one doesn't even have or give injections so I'd have to go further.

I've done my research, permethrin is relatively safe for dogs and this one's concentration is just 0.60%. it's the other components I'm worried about. They just said 'inert carriers' and I'm not sure which it contains.

Use it on its body wash it off almost immediately...

Cover the dogs mouth, dont let it ingest or inhale the powder.

Wear a glove, wash it off its body almost immediately after applying it sufficiently

Avoid the eyes and don't pour into ear, can rub it in but make sure to clean it

My dog has been suffering from a tick infestation and I've tried everything i can, be it sprays, soaps, but none of it seems to be working.
Yesterday, a friend gave me this and said I should use it on the dog that it'll kill everything on her but I don't know if it's safe to do so or if it'll be effective. It's called Rambo insect powder
Please does anyone have any experience using this? Is it safe? Can you recommend a better solution?

First since you've had a parvo outbreak check her to make sure she isn't infected as well, disinfect your compound thoroughly and then what I'd advise for the depression is Exercise, play more with her, just try and keep her active, don't overfeed, you could also get another dog for company if you're able to afford it

I used to have rabbits once, was rearing them for meat but somehow bonded with them. The only annoying thing about them is the poop and piss, I was never able to potty train them haha, I even gave them names... Coco and snow, they had babies like 6 and then their babies grew up and to cut the story short, I broke their precious little necks, skinned them and grilled the meat. They were delicious. I miss them

Hi everyone!
I'm going to be needing a few advise concerning Jace, my puppy.
My dad brought Jace in, on the 24th December, last year as a surprise present (something like that).
Everyone including my mum (she forbids dogs) fell in love with Jace at first sight.

The problem:
Jace should be about 5 months old now and since he was born, has been feeding on human food which sometimes causes him to throw up.
While bathing him one day, we discovered that Jace has been infested (don't know if that's the word) with lice.
For a moment, I hated Jace and wanted to get rid of him but the hatred was just for a moment. My twin and I love Jace and treat him like he's a human baby.
We told our mum about it and she suddenly grew intense hatred for Jace that she'd just go and hit him whenever she gets the chance.
My twin and I also called and informed our dad about Jace's condition and that Jace needs urgent healthcare but he didn't mind us.
Jace has been obviously suffering and we've been helping him pick some lice out but still it's not really helping.
Sometimes, Jace's poos are filled with worms. This got us to start asking questions and we were told that he needed to be dewormed.
My twin and I are broke but my dad who isn't, doesn't want to help.

Today, we noticed some tiny black moving stuffs falling from his body and discovered they were nits abi upcoming lice.
We informed our mum but she could only suggest that we get rid of Jace by selling him.

Honestly, this isn't the first time my mum is bringing that up and it has always ended in quarrel. My twin and i have been trying to consider selling him off but it's hard!😩 We love Jace. We've bonded with him so much and it's hard to see him go.
Sometimes Jace starves because he can't eat some of our foods.

I really have few options and I'm willing to try anything just to make Jace happy and well.
Pet owners and vets, what would you suggest in this matter?
I doubt if Jace would be properly taken care of by this woman my mum speaks of. (My mum told a woman about Jace and this woman is interested in buying Jace. My twin and her didn't allow her but she wouldn't give up).
Would Jace find it easy to cope in his new environment and with his new owners if he gets sold out?
Would Jace die soon if we don't treat him ?

I can see it in Jace's eyes that: he's loyal, he loves us, he always wants to impress us, he understands us and would keep his cool even when he's obviously starving.

First off, you can't take good care of a dog without spending on it, buy a good dog shampoo and amitraz, after you bathe your dog, mix the amitraz with water like you would Dettol, pour the water over the dog and leave to drip and dry, the fleas would be killed, also try and deworm the dog, take it to a vet for vaccination and deworming. As for the food, if it can eat your normal house food then you should continue but you should still add other things to it's diet. You can go to where they sell and kill catfish and get the intestines, boil and mix with rice, it's very nutritious.
Bathe your dog at least 2 times a week while treating with the amitraz once until you notice that there's no more parasites on it's body
You'll have to spend on your dog and if you can't, you'll have to give it up to someone who can. Don't sell to anyone you're not comfortable with.
I hope you can take good care of your dog or find someone good to sell him off to

How do you expect to train the dog like this?? That your friend just gave you wrong advice in fact that your friend shouldn't even have access to dogs
You beat your dog for no good reason and you still expecting that same dog to trust you enough to obey your commands?? You've only succeeded in making the dog afraid of you and that's why it's biting you, cause it's at the point where it's either you or the dog. And you'll now sell the heavily traumatized dog to another person to clean up your mess abi?? Please put in mind beating your dog does more harm than good, positive reinforcement is the best way to get the most out of training your dog (that is rewarding for good behaviour instead of punishing for bad behaviour) dogs are eager to please you so as you reward them for good behaviour, they tend to do more of the good behaviour and less of the bad. DON'T BEAT YOUR DOGS!!!

Yes there actually is a breed called the white sheep dog, it's the Maremma Sheepdog. Ops dog looks more like an old English sheepdog. Besides, the crossing may not be intentional
