Matthew 6: 33 states that we should seek the kingdom of God FIRST and His righteousness and every other thing shall be added unto us.
Am I seeking His kingdom first in my daily workings?
Are you seeking the kingdom of God in all spheres of your endeavors. Do you give Him first place or what do you consider most important.
There is more to seeking the kingdom than going to church everyday. It is more than the registration of attendance at every meeting in the church.
The daily activities in all facets of our lives has to be guided by the WILL of God!
We are not believers just because we carry the bible , pray and go to church. One reason we are called believers is clearly expressed in the book of 1timothy 4: 12 …………when people look at you , do they see “an example of the believer in Word , in Conversation , in Love , in Spirit , In faith ? if so they’ll want to be like you and they’ll be drawn to the lord . Who gives the power to fulfill His Will,
In conclusion for this series …… Let your light so shine before men (Matthew 5 :16)

Let us Pray!
Our dear lord we have heard your word once again and seen that living the Christian life is all by your grace which is all that you require of us , Help us to conform to your will in Jesus name .

It is not too late if you make amends where necessary NOW!
According to Revelations 3: 5 which states that “ He that overcometh , the same shall be clothed in white rainment , and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life but I will confess his name before my Father and before His angels……. “
The word OVERCOMETH in the verse above implies that we are in a race which I would liken to a “survival of the fittest race” our fitness in this case is not determined by our wisdom, intelligence , strength , and wealth but only dependent on our obedience to the WORD of God. If we obey and do His words , our life pattern will be according to His will and we’lld live our lives in accordance with His Pre-ordained Purpose.
Let Us Pray!
Our dear Lord, thank You once again for your word , Help us to obey and do your will that our lives would be according to your purpose and we’lld be fulfilled on earth and reign with you in paradise. These and more we ask of you in Jesus name. Amen.

One question every born-again christian must ask him/herself is this " is my name in the book of life"? it appears to be a rhetorical question without answers but the answers are dependent on the principles upon which our physical and spiritual lives are built.

For our names to be written in the lamb's book of life we have to do the will of the lamb. if your names are already written therein you must ensure to live right so as not to have the names blotted out and for as many whose names are not yet written in that precious book of life , it is not too late if you can make amends where necessary NOW.

Our dear and sovereign Lord , as we begin this course help me to see my wrongs and the truths that are written in your word that i may know you more. Thank You heavenly Father .

But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the kind’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank ; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
Today, Christ is looking for men and women who in the face of contrary evidence , challenges and difficulties will remain faithful like Daniel, refusing to blend in with the mess in the world.
The world may be corrupt , even the church may become soaked with evil,
Do we have to follow where our situation and circumstances lead?
No, His word says Oceans will rise , Nations fall …………………….. He remains faithful
Do you think the End will come to your career , marriage , life and finances if you don’t join into what the majority is doing? The spiritual life is always the opposite of the Physical , it is common knowledge that the majority always carries the vote, but in the life of Christ the majority always finds it too difficult to live by His rules.
Romans 8 : 1 says , “ there is therefore now no condemnation, to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh , but after the Spirit .

Whatever it is the devil brings to your way , Remember that Christ has not promised us Days without Nights , neither has he promised life without Storms but he promised us Peace within the Storm and He’ll always stand by us , Nothing else matters when He is by our side. .
Yes, you ‘re going through a lot right now and you can’t bear it any longer, Remember He is in the boat with you , a compromise at this juncture will only make matters worse .
Are you that Single Lady who’s waited several years and yet remains single and this ONLY guy is now seeking to defile you and you feel you’ve waited too long to lose this one man.
If he wants to defile you, he ‘s not meant for you , keep waiting on God, he has lofty plans for you and He will make your marriage beautiful in His time.
Are you that job seeker who has tried who has tried all options and yet seemed darker than night, and you have the option to falsify some information about yourself and grab this one job now!!!
No ! you don’t have to go that far to get a job, if the job will make you lie , it is not worth it , because definitely it is far below God’s will for your life .
Consider your ways today, is there anything or anyone in your career, life , marriage that’s causing you to blend into the sin and immorality , greed and false hood going on around the world , separate yourself from such and be determined to remain faithful irrespective of the sacrifice you have to pay.
Remember, God will make all things beautiful in His time

Merriam – Webster’s Thesaurus defines REST as FREEDOM from TOIL or STRAIN : Calm or Peacefulness
Rest doesn’t mean Freedom or absence of work, it simply means absence of toil i.e Reward for Every Labour
The difference between Work and Toil is what is called RESt

Then Jesus said, ‘come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you REST.
It is not God’s will for any man to labour and not get results
The difference between those who labour and those that are Favoured is the QUALITY of their OUTPUT.

Sometimes, God’s instruction is incomprehensible to the lay man. It takes obedience, not UNDERSTANDING. You don’t have to understand or be able to demystify It before you Obey.

If you don't know where you are going from the start of the journey , you can't hope to arrive at a destination of peace and joy .

Let’s say you’ve been careful about the people you date. In time, you’ll probably find yourself liking one person a lot. It looks like it’s getting serious.
If you find yourself moving in this direction, or if you are already in a serious relationship, here are other questions to think through and to talk about together:

1. Is our relationship about mutual trust? A relationship can’t survive without honesty and openness. If lies creep intothe relationship, it’s time to get truthful, or call it quits.

2. Can we be ourselves when we’re together? If you have to be somebody you’re not, or if either of you feels you must put up a front, then you’re in the wrong relationship.

3. Are either of us overly possessive? Words and phrases like “smothered” and “jealous” come to mind. If one of you can’t move without the other one knowing it, then possessiveness is a big problem. If this happens, both of you need some space, and maybe you even need to back away from the relationship. These traits are red flags that your boyfriend or girlfriend may become abusive.

4. Do we regularly have good conversations? Chat room-type chatter is fine. But now and then you need to have a conversation that goes a bit deeper—that lets you know each other’s likes and dislikes, strengths and weaknesses, hopes and dreams.

5. Have we set physical limits? This question is extremely important and often difficult to answer, especially if a relationship has already become too physical. To avoid pushing the limits beyond the point of no control, you need to set agreed-upon limits early on. You also need to know why you need limits.

More questions worth asking: Do both of you understand why God wants people to save s*x for marriage?
Do both of you clearly understand why s*x outside of marriage is so destructive? If you break up tomorrow, would you end the relationship with no regrets about your physical involvement?
If you can’t answer yes to these questions, please talk with your youth pastor or someone else who can give you guidance in this critical area.

6. Do we have dates that include our friends? If your friends or family complain that they don’t see you anymore, your relationship has gotten way too exclusive.

7. Do we plan how we’ll spend our time together? With “nothing to do,” it’s easy to fill up your time by becoming more physically involved than you should. Do your best to begin each date knowing how you’re going to spend your time together.

8. Do we have a good understanding of what forgiveness means? People mess up. That’s just the way it is. That’s why it’s important to forgive each other. Holding grudges because you’ve been wronged kills a relationship. On the other hand, no one should say “forgive me” when they really mean “accept my faults and don’t expect me to change.” If you want to regain trust, if you want to keep the relationship healthy, then changes must be made.
The Bible calls these changes “repentance” (Acts 26:20, NIV),and it means that you will, with God’s help, stop doing the behavior that got you into trouble in the first place.

9. Can we disagree agreeably?Can you handle disagreements without screaming, sulking, or slamming phones or doors? And what about compromise? A relationship isn’t about winning, it’s about wanting what’s best for each other. If either of you must always win, you’re in a no-win relationship.

10. Do we keep God at the center? Jesus Christ needs to be the center of each of your lives and of each of your relationships. This obviously means being able to have good conversations about what God is teaching each of you. It also means that each of you is committed to personal spiritual growth. And it means having Christian friendships (apart from each other) that hold you accountable and help you live out your faith. All in all, an exciting faith adventure is key to an exciting dating relationship.
