Please I was refused visiting visa to th UK November last year due to extra credit apart from my salary. And now, I want to go through school. My school is estimated around 12,000pounds and i Intend paying 70% fee. Is it Okay to show a 10m pof?
Secondly, if I am showing a bank statement of one month, should the statement show active withdrawal?
Can I also declare my inlwas was the one that gifted me the 10m ( I will also attach deed of gift and affidavit of return. Please help

Firstly , make sure you declare the previous refusal on your application.
Additionally , your POF is measurable , it's not just a figure you come up with arbitarily , your tuition balance + maintenance requirement = POF
if your school is in London, your maintenance will be 12008 GBP
if your school is outside London, your maintenance is 9207 GBP

so use that to compute your POF , then adda buffer for currency fluctuations .

Then for your funds evidence , you would most likely not be asked to provide that , then you can keep the accout active with regular transactions.

Add the following documents
1. The International passport of each child
2. VAF ( visa application form of each child
3. parent consent letter
4. third party consent form.
5. birth certificate
6. bank statement
7. CAS statement
8. BRP of parents if available
9. family photos if available

Two year visas are only granted to people who have reasons to travel to the UK frquently.

Add a note in the application when uploading state the correct dates and it will be fixed.

I paid for ihs fee on the 10th of August this year, it was after payment I realized my mistake, so, I discontinued the application to start afresh. I made another ihs payment for the second application which was what I used for my visa. Now, I’m in the Uk, each time I call UKVi, I keep getting different information.

The first paid call was November 18, I was told it would be escalated. A follow up call showed there was no escalation and the agents kept referring me to the same number I dialled .

Today alone, I have called three times with no way forward.

$1235 will do something for me here in UK.

Did you cancel the first application? If you cancelled it , the IHS will be refunded automatically

Currently I have problem, my ihs was showing 0 and I proceed to pay for visa but I was giving ihs reference number. When I inquired I was told the reason I couldn't pay for ihs is because my sponsor visa is not up to 6month. My husband is Sept in take and he filled the ihs using his visa document.i.e the validation end date on his passport. I don't know what to do right now is there a way I can pay for ihs

You have no reason to be scared. It's just an error of the site, you will get a link in your email asking you to pay your IHS fee, just go ahead and upload your documents.

This comment is not appropriate, Government doesn't really have the time to chase everyone about, it may interest you to know that most of the developers bribe their way to get documents, and some of them present the wrong survey documents to get approval, We are our problems , whilst the government also has her fault, we should blame people who intentionally do the wrong things to scam unsuspecting nigerians. Go and check if any of the developers of those properties live around that neighborhood

They requested a reference letter but am confused, should the reference letter be general “to whom it may concern “ or maybe directly only to the school only. I’m also trying to apply to other school and considering I won’t be able to go back and get reference letters every time I wanted it. Will “To who it may concern “ be okay. If I may ask ? What particularly interests you about Swansea , you may want to try better options.

Student support is low with Swansea and you should also check their payment policy before going ahead with the submission .

There's been error in computation of IHS fee by the website lately , if you have paid the adjustment . Don't do anything it will be automatically reconciled

The amount of money in your bank statement depends on a lot of factors ...

Don't make the mistake of submitting a huge bank statement and then no document to substantiate what you do and ties back to Nigeria

From this Refusal Documents I can spot two mistakes from your end.

1. If you run a business and you're the sole director or a managing partner , it's best to state your income.annually as against monthly income unless you pay out a regular monthly salary to your own personal.account from the company

2. You filled on the form that you spend 100k monthly , that cannot be true for someone who claims to earn 800k monthly ... If you filled that your monthly expenses only take 100k , why do you want to spend 11 times your monthly expenditure on a short trip ..

You only had issues with the way you filled the financials

If the employer certified maintenance for both primary applicant and dependant then you don't need POF again . Check on the COS

1. Yes your dependant partner can switch his or her visa seamlessly if she gets sponsorship from a licensed employer in the united kingdom.

2. Your partner can use NARIC evaluation , PTE , IELTS and many more to prove her English proficiency

3. Try to do the right thing as a student cos a lot depends on you living right. I know it's hard but stick to the term time work hour limits for the sake of the future of all of you including your dependants.
To the last question , you can become your partners dependant if they get tier 2 or other classes of work visas but that will be at the completion of your studies.

I’m about to apply for a standard UK visitor visa for my wife. We plan on traveling together over the holidays, but my wife was refused a visa when we applied earlier this year. I already had a 2 year visa which was granted in 2022 by the time we applied for her visa.

She was refused because the clearance officer felt her monthly income (N450,000) was too little to pay for the expected cost of the trip (N800,000) even though she had about 12k USD in her personal dom accounts. This was also even though we had put that I (as her husband) would sponsor the entirety of her trip and I had enough income (N1.5M per month) and savings (25k USD) to cover the costs.

Can any visa gurus advise on the best way going forward to avoid another refusal. Please note we later applied for a France Schengen visa a few weeks after her refusal and were granted the visa so it’s quite confusing why the UK denied her.

Firstly, UK visas are not granted because of "FAT" account balances alone.

here are a few things to consider

1. Make sure all details are correctly filled , Don't falsify any record . also don't bloat any figure to impress the Visa officer

2. Make sure the employment or business of the applicant is clearly stated (Proof of employment or business is VITAL)

3. proof of marriage is also important

4. For your account statement , If possible submit her Salary Account labelled salary account and also submit her other savings account if she has two

5. If you have property in your names it's a good way to prove ties

6. If she is employed , she needs a leave letter to show she isn't just leaving work and resuming anytime she wills

7. write a letter of introduction to state purpose of trip , where you will be staying and what you would be doing in the UK for the period

8. Make the account statements at least 4 months old , i recommend 6 months

9. Reserve Accommodation ( you don't have to pay for the accommodation ) Accommodation reservation is key except you would be staying with family and friends

10. Don't just move funds to your accounts without properly explaining where the money is coming from.
