They do not suck data, what you see on your data usage is because they channel all your apps connection through it. So what you see there is just the sum total of your chatting, browsing, downloads from various connecting apps not the firewall itself.

Hmmm, yet I do see d data used by some apps i blocked with d firewall...

The Mobiwol app itself sucks data like mad, including NoRoot firewall, they're truly a firewall app for mostly non rooted device, but d app sucks data, it's better to root your device if u wanto use dx feature on your phone
