How is she supposed to survive? What alternatives does society offer her?
Until we begin to interrogate the structural failures that shape these circumstances,
we will continue to treat symptoms while ignoring their underlying causes.
Nigeria will continue to descend into an abyss of institutional failure and collective indifference.

BAT’s administration of the responsibility for proper planning, sequencing, and implementation.....
Ask yourself if BAT administration actually demonstrate ....
that it assessed their combined effects, prepared adequate safeguards...
and had a credible plan for managing the transition of these reforms....

Stabilizing measures should have been part of the reform, not an afterthought.

Ultimately, the question is not simply whether the reforms were necessary to stabilise the economy.
It is whether the administration demonstrated the foresight, competence, and social responsibility
required to implement them without imposing avoidable hardship on millions of Nigerians.

Economic reforms dont automatically translates into improved household welfare.

The Nigerian irony is simple..
For over six decades, govt have introduced various reforms...
Yet, for millions of Nigerians, the promise of a better life remains unfulfilled.
From SAP to privatisation, banking-sector consolidation,
fuel subsidy reforms, exchange-rate reforms and various poverty-alleviation programmes.
Yet, the fundamental question remains:
Where is the corresponding improvement in the standard of living of the ordinary Nigerian?

I believe tinubu has lost the South east, largely because the South East's main industry, so to speak, is imports, and the sale of imported goods. Because the naira has been devalued, the amount of naira needed to buy forex has risen, which has made importing more expensive. Add the fuel subsidy removal making transport from the ports to the end point worse, and you have a lot of people suffering. Plus east relies heavily on food sent from the North...the grains, as well as imports, all now more costly thanks to dollars not being subsidised. As a result SE people are suffering massively .People would vote for Atiku and Obi.

The opposition's biggest problem may not be BAT's popularity,
but its inability to consolidate votes across Nigeria's different political regions.
Quality of Opposition is damn weak......
Atiku wont get enough votes from the South ....While Obi is cut off from the North...
Governors and party structures matters in Naija elections...
BAT will collect votes from every state...
Mind you..some protest votes will emerge..

Your analysis is very shortsighted. You see NC, SS, and SE they are all for Obi. Don't under rate the Kwankwasia movement in the NW, by extension the NE will still give some consideration. I know the VP has the power block in the NE, but they all know Kwankwaso is their son who will definitely emerge just within 4 years after Obi. Shettima cannot replace Tinubu even if they secure a 2nd term. Kwankwaso is more a presidential material than Shettima and that's where the joker lies.
