I already got a reply from Gtb regarding the Swift code. I also have an existing dollar Mastercard account linked to my Trading212 account and have been verified by them, but i am seeing a limit of 343.40 on it which is why Trading212 app is asking me to add a bank account with same name as I am withdrawing more than the limit.

And please can you confirm how much was deducted from your cash balance as transfer charges if any?

I need anyone here who knows the 11 digit swift code for GTB to please provide it. Trading212 App requires i submit it to be able to complete my withdrawal.

I have been trying unsuccessfully to get it from Gtb since yesterday. This is one of the reasons I said I don’t blame Trading212 for restricting Nigerians.

I can’t do transfer as I am not the one paying. I am withdrawing my fund so I need to provide my account details and that’s why i need the swift code which i later got from GTB. Also, any method federal government finds means massive debt because no subsidy can completely cover the losses made from selling power below its production cost...because government cannot set production costs.

GHana pays a cost reflective tarrif, which is why they have light. ANd they complain about it, they even say they are poor to pay it, but they have light, we don't. And they get investment in their light.

Looks like you want government to borrow, because the experts have put the amounts we need to fix light at 10 to 14 trillion yearly, maybe higher.

The government did not fix the GSM and internet sector before allowing the MTN and company charge exorbitant prices to Nigerians as a cost reflective tarrif. Back then there was no rural telephony, and urban phone coverage was not present.

The result was that the sector fixed itself via massive investment and via massive profits.

We should let that happen for the electricity sector. It's what the experts have said should happen, otherwise, government would have to find 10 trillion naira yearly at least to fix electricity. On top of budgets that are half borrowed to begin with.

And yes, people complained about how expensive government was allowing phone service was, with some even calling for subsides back then.

The FG was busy paying ghost subsidy on fuel that don't make it back to Nigeria.
