PhonesRe: Much Cheaper Glo Data Subscription by willyfrench(m): 4:53pm On Nov 01, 2013
This sounds reasonable no doubt being cheaper for each individual but you can't monitor the amount of data used by each person and that is a major major problem because I can as well join up and use up 10gb one night to the loss of others. So I don't think this would work among strangers.
BusinessRe: Do It Yourself Importation Guide Free - Season 2 by willyfrench(m):
anex4real: please can someone help me track this RB258650243CN it getting up to two months since it was sent.
Well, from what i understand from your tracking info it actually arrived Nigeria between 15th september & 3rd october and you didn't go to claim it on time (within 21days of arrival as stated by our Guru mayorall) so it was sent back to china & arrived Beijing international on the 25th october.

Summary:Your package was sent back to china because it was unclaimed.

i'm not 100% sure oh, but i hope one of our masters here can confirm @mayorall, @surveycash & others.

gramci: you are a bad loser
I'm a bad loser for wanting transparency in the electoral process? huh huh Well if you must know my family is an active PDP family in Delta but that doesn't make the irregularities of the PDP acceptable by me. I'm entitled to my own beliefs & opinion and if believing in a better Nation that can boast of a tiny bit of transparency makes me a loser then that's your own cup of "kunu" chief. 1Luv.
PoliticsRe: PDP Wins Delta Central Senatorial Bye Election by willyfrench(m): 8:18pm On Oct 12, 2013
Well according to the happenings at various polling stations the PDP is set to be announced as winner. Just got off the phone with a corper friend that presided within Udu LG and as expected she said the PDP used their usual "Rugged" strategy, they are still at the collation centres as of the time of this post. I weep for this entity called Nigeria honestly.

Van snickers: Why the desperation to claim People that are not willing as your tribesmen? He made a valid point.

@topic
I don't see why the Igbos want to claim the Ikwerres so badly. It's not by force. That's all.
Please help me tell them. Same way they try to claim the ukwuani people(commonly called kwale people) in delta state are igbos.

NYSCNYSC Reviews Posting Policy by willyfrench(op):
State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, has affirmed his administration’s commitment to the safety of corps members, explaining that there has been no record of kidnapping of corps members in the state.

Uduaghan stated this on Thursday when the chairman of the newly constituted National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Governing Board, Gordon Bozimo, and his team paid him a courtesy visit in Asaba.

Uduaghan described the NYSC as a pivot for the promotion of peace and unity in the country.

The Governor assured that Delta State was very safe for members of NYSC, disclosing that security operatives were on the alert in areas where there are “corpers’ lodges”, asserting. “Delta State is a safe place for corps members and the Police Commissioner has taken special measures to ensure their safety. The corps members too should be security conscious and avoid criminal flash points.”

Uduaghan used the occasion to commend the Governing Board for reviewing the policy of posting all corps members to classrooms to teach, observing that such amounted to waste of human resources, especially of graduates, who did not study education courses.

Earlier, Bozimo, who was accompanied on the visit by the state coordinator of the scheme, Joseph Ezechukwu, and other top NYSC officials, disclosed that the NYSC has reviewed the posting policy of the scheme to ensure that graduates were posted to areas of their specialisation and to ensure that employers, especially those in the private sector were able to employ a minimum of 30 per cent of corps members posted to their organisations.

He stated that such policy would encourage corps members to bring out their best during the service year to enable them be employed.

He on government bodies to tackle the issue of security challenges to ensure the safety of corps member posted to their states.

PoliticsRe: Cleric Calls For Christian Governor In Lagos State Elections by willyfrench(m): 11:05pm On Jun 09, 2013
In my opinion your average muslim is a tad more disciplined and accountable than your average christian (from personal experience) so a muslim at the helm of affairs of this great state is sort of a good thing. That being said, if someone is proven to be efficient, reliable and accountable then he/she can be voted to steer the affairs of the people devoid of religious affiliation. Good governance is what matters and nothing else.

TravelRe: Travelling From Asaba To Illorin by willyfrench(op): 2:15am On Mar 05, 2013
fados4sure: I did my NYSC in Kwara and then, i was residing in Benin city...
I will guide you on how to go there.
Going to Kwara from Benin, there are two route. You can either take Asaba to Auchi.. Auchi to Okene.. Okene to Kabba.. Kabba to Ilorin but, that is very expensive.
The easiest and cheapest way is to enter a car from Asaba to Benin. Goto Uselu park and enter straight to Ilorin from there. It is between 6 to 7 hours. When you get to Ilorin, tell the driver that you will stop at Maraba park and in that park, you will get another bus that is going to Edu Local Government where the Camp is located.
Thanks so much for the reponse. I intend to leave in a few hours but i'll try getting a bus from onitsha to ilorin, else i will take your advise and head to benin. Thanks again.

Candyrain: You are wrong man, camp isn't 45mins †̥ 1hr from Ilorin, it's way more than 2hrs. I left †̥ camp from Owerri so I spent close †̥ 12hrs getting †̥ camp. It should be much easier for you guys coming from Lagos
You are absolutely correct, a friend of mine posted there in #12C told me 2hrs from illorin to camp.
NYSCRe: A thread for corpers posted to Kwara by willyfrench(m): 12:14am On Mar 03, 2013
Candyrain: For the UNIBEN family if you can't get Ilorin bus from Benin then the nearest place is Ore. You are sure to get a bus from there and if you don't, you'll see Offa bus there which is very close to Ilorin
Thanks a great deal man. Uniben grad but I'll be travelling from Asaba so I'll take your advise and go to the head bridge at onitsha to take a bus to illorin. Thanks for the info once again.
