i just watched the video clip on channels tv, am glad some Nigerians are doing the right thing by exposing criminals when they can, how i wish our elected and appointed leaders can take serious action on those that have been exposed in the past.

Eagles should not write them off, there are no small teams anymore. A one nil victory will do the damage to us but am sure our boys are up to the task.

The street where i live is very close to the soldiers lodge and i can tell you that the op is very correct.
Honestly, the solidiers have done well in reducing the kidnapping and robbery rate in my town but they have over done it as is their way of live. It has gotten to the stage that any one who passes in front of their lodge stands the risk of being asked to cut the grasses in front of their lodge or inside the compound.

The okadas suffer the most as their bikes are constantly seized mostly for the fun of it.

The latest craze with thy soldiers now that they prepare for patrol and the next thing, they cause a roadblock in certain junction (i witnessed the one at Doherty by Lagos Asaba road junction and also another one along Lagos Asaba road on a different day) and they will ask every okada to discharge their passengers and roll their bike to a certain distance before the bike man can continue his journey with his passenger.

A woman once went to complain to them about her son's behaviour. She wanted them to correct him sort of cos he stole petty petty thing at home.
Well, she took the boy there alive but when she went to pick him in the evening (after the supposed correction), she was given his corpse. The reason they gave for killing him is because he is a potential armed robber. JUST LIKE THAT!!!

I could go on and on. All we wish i for them to tone down their oppression.


Oh and FYI, the period they were hired for was during the Okowa' fathers kidnap. Since he was released, the local Government has stopped paying the rent of the duplex that was rented for them but they refuse to leave. The owner of the duplex has complained but nothing has been done about it.
Talk about oppression of the highest order.

I also noticed how they go to different shops, drink and eat whatever they like without paying a dime. The owners of those shops can't say or do anything. You need to see the accident they caused very close to the stadium last nite. I pray and hope that they boy involved can walk again.

For you to accused everyone as criminals shows how low your mentality is, even in borno, yobe and adamawa, there are innocent persons living there. How many criminals have you exposed in your household? 50% of those caught confessed that they are not even from the town. Stop the insults.

Gov adams impacted change in Edo state, every one was happy with the various projects that were executed. I always praise him cause he exposed the thief we have in Uduaghan. PDP should allow EFFC to to their job, but they won't cause they don't trust the body they created.

atlwireles: The problem in delta today or Nigeria in general is the absence of values. Families have allowed their children to become things, I never thought was possible in delta. Some time ago, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa(Representing Delta North) Father was kidnapped and mayhem was released in the town, Army was all over the place, instead of finding the kidnapped man, the innocents passers by were always harassed, The father has been seen but the army personnel have refused to go, The army in Agbor are destroying lives everyday and have no sympathy for innocent citizens in the town, parents are been made to lie flat on the floor just because he/she is driving to church for night programme, some of the okada riders are in hospital cause the army chase them recklessly, A guy just broke his leg some few hours ago, they forcefully stopped him by flogging him. This army and Police are ripping us in the town, They forcefully take the bikes and send them to the police station and owners will pay (20) twenty thousand for the bike to be released. an estimate of fifteen (15) bikes daily, i will like to know which account that money is going to. There is no curfew in the town and yet movement is restricted, no night life anymore, The Dien, Obi, Elders and chiefs are mute over the whole incidence, they cant even come together to tackle minor issues. This message is not meant to discredit anyone or party, its meant to inform every Ika citizen of the activities of army in the town. Please we want our lives back. Cities where kidnapping is being practice often, you wont find army brutalization. We are loving people and we love each other, The police is capable of handling any issues that may arise.
