Philadelphia: Justwise, don't pretend that you can't see where TWoods speaks arrogantly and insults people especially "Nigerians" speaking of which you're a Nigerian. I've been on this thread and I tell you that TWoods has not said anything meaningful which I can take. Others give opinions in humility and everyone learns. TWoods is not a VO and can NEVER be one. He is not God who decides someone's faith and can NEVER be God. If the only comment he has to make is to insult people or Nigerians, then let him keep his opinion to himself because it's not needed.
thanks bro. "There's none soo blind as he who will not see... " Justwise has simply refused to see for one reason or another. Quite amazing actually, since he was able to "judiciously" track all the previous comments by Philadelphia . We all are just Nija peepuu, come rain, come shine.
Iwillcross: ]Hi everyone pls I want to take toefl exam for fall m going for undergraduate in usa pls how do I go about toefl I don't ve any idea . ..like how much.... free materials.....how and were to register I hear some persons going for tutorials someone pls help out m on my knees I ve been denied before I jst decided to go n learn a skill first before coming back n I now have a real intention to want to study following advice of some gurus not to reapply with CC I live in Benin city.
These days you should get considerable discount on TOEFL . I don't know about Benin city , but in Lagos and Abuja you should .... Just make sure to practice as much as possible with your/ the CD and TOEFL app. , use timer! Learn to be calm and focused -- very very important for the listening section.
Try to practice and focus in a fairly noisy place, just in case. I hope you have up to three weeks to practice. Practice !!practice!! practice!! Don't worry, you should be alright.
toluene1234: Good morning house. I need your urgent attention. I have GRE exam tomorrow, please someone should help on how to get to JKK HOUSE 229 IKORODU ROAD ILUPEJU, LAGOS.
justwise: I don't believe that, people are only afraid of dealing with the truth.
Nobody is talking about the truth here. What we are talking about is intimidation. Or are you saying there's no better way of communicating this "truth" without the above mentioned? Is that not what education/civilization is all about?
Your full time job here now is to attack TWoods, the last time you visited this thread to post was Jan 20th and that was when somebody was having an argument with TWoods, 3 months later you turned up again to post when there is an argument between him and somebody else.
Yes TWoods is very blunt with some of his comments which many of you detest but at the same time contribute usefully to this thread, are you only here to fight without making any useful contribution?
Oga Justwise lots of people have, and are still falling preys to hungry visa agent because they are really scared of making comments here that will be treated with total contempt. What do you have to say about this? Hmmmm.... there's a very very thin line between genius and insanity ...look closely.... Let's not forget the idea behind this thread... In the end we are all here to help/carry along the weak and uninformed.
Damidolly: Hello gurus in the house, pls I want to confirm if it is true that Florida International University usually demand for $200 before they'll send i-20 to a successfully student?
Come back to naija if you cannot cope. Nothing way una day talk go discourage us. We go bust that place. Na American system be that, save whatever you can and invest in naija if you love naija so much
claremont: She is making a point, but I don't understand why she seems so frustrated and hostile. She can make her point with civility, there is no need for the aggression. She can also set an example by relocating to Nigeria.
Thank you! Much blessings to you....... Very simple .
timesup234: Go sleep for dustbin. Since you guys have been shouting giving my kids a better life i still dont know a single Nigerian born in the US. and choose to live and remain in the US. with just one million in 401k. Giving birth to your kids in the US. doesnt guarantee anything, it is actually a set back. People born in Mushin are excelling more than them
Oga, remain in musin nau, where were you when others were working hard to maintain their status.... As you enterED US and didn't meet the Kardashians or schwarzenegger you lose hope, abi na me do you? There's a limit to how much you can thwart the courage of the determined...if you doubt me look into your palm or the mirror. FYI, I know your type ..... faceless attention seeker Happy Easter
timesup234: Ok lets agree over 97% of Nigerians are living in abject poverty and the remaining 3% are above middle class and considered rich. That makes it over 6million rich folks in a country of 200million. Professor Justwise, trust me- we have more than 6million Nigerians living better than 70% of the whole US. population. With almost 50million Americans on food stamp how many more millions do you need to complete the 70% of over 320million Americans?
timesup234: There are millions of Nigerians living a better and quality life than 70% of Americans. 90% of what you see in Chicago and Boston are debt. 80% of properties you see in Lagos were bought with cash. America is a miserable and depressed place
:oAmericans are well known to just open their mouths and blab -- even when they're educated (which she's not ) -- the reason could have something to do with excessive availability of food/ necessites (try WWE!) .... It hurts sometimes to see a person from Nigeria speak to Nigerians as Second-class citizens. From my perspective, she could be venting out on someone or outrightly tired of Nija people -- this is plane discouragement. :' Usually when you watch their horror movies, it usually starts with a group of college students on a vacation, scientists on a "research" trip, something, something, one thing, one thing, like that ,like that...., then you have the story from the survivor's point of view .... All through this video, I waited for her to make reference of (at least! ) her last visit to Nigeria.....hence, personal experiences/encounter --with the current situation of the country is questionable."only a person who wears the shoes knows where it hurts ".
You have a job stay back in Nija... "Truth hurts", yessss.... as a matter of fact ,life is hard when you have to move (specially if you re leaving your comfort zone), it's a huge sacrifice.... But! It becomes a driving force too. You can't tell me that a father with his wife and kids will just go for B1/B2 visa , succeed and then decide to stay back in the states (just like that)without proper plans. How many do you have on the streets?? I know there are people who don't make it in the US , she for instance can't be making it , yes! she said they all lie about everything, Who then can prove the store or shelter house is hers??... The big tattooed guy in BBN couldn't have made it too......Any way , contrary to her claims, I am very proud to tell you that we have less than 0.001% of Nigerians who are street bums in the U.S.
Of course , this goes without saying that since she is all grown up and able to make her own decisions now, she can decide to relocate and invent something or utilize her brain in Nigeria. Buhari's son had an accident, in spite of all the pleas to treat him in Nija, him papa flew him to Germany! (who Nija epp? ). All the thieving politicians that did not win in the last elections, where are they today ? They ll return come January .... Are they out of the country cause of their fears for mister president? , ... Heellll no!.... The ones he "caught" what did he do. Where are their kids? How many of them were your class mates from primary education till now? How many dey your office? Okay! How many dey enter the same plane with you? (let's not talk about cars or buses now... ) How come our so called leaders strive, fight, contest and even die! On top "working from January to December to better their country" where they can't raise their own kids ?
This has simply gone beyond ranting or advice, it is now about the truth. Even the Bible said it "If you don't like where you find yourself, MOVE!! " "any man who can't feed his household is like an infidel" (O.Y.O) which means you should strive/endeavor/seek/venture to make it --at least to feed your family/household. Look at the Mexicans , from January to December, a Mexican can illegaly entire and get deported 12 times from the US , still him go still do Xmas for US that year, why !Why! At least we seek legal entery..... We have to tell ourselves the truth... If you are of good status to apply for a US visa and you decide to stay back by any which way legal, weigh your options.....but I tell you, US is often better or any other country of your choice ( in the western world). Now, let's say you have saved up 1m+ in Nigeria to invest... How long did it take to save it? How many more years do you need to save up in order to do the necessary things in our homeland ... Building a house for example, buying a car.. If you nor marry na Wahala .. If you marry ..Baby food!! wife's start up capital... Which business apart from food stuffs moves in Nija? Can we invest in it? is it doable? Does any business move at all these days?? What if I get fired? What if I'm not paid? What if my boss dies? Sickness nkooo (God forbid ). How bad can it possible get in Nigeria before it finally get's better.? Can it ever get better..... WHAT IS THE GUARANTEE FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR OFFSPRING .... Can I EVER do the necessary here.. ..and so on....... After all the above . I think the truth would surface.
Ladies and gentlemen leave am!! na condition make Creyfish bend. (who wan go another man land? ) I am yet to see parents who have enough to care for their families /household ,subject themselves to innumerable insults of begging to pay their kids tuition!! (you don beg US person money before? ) So What exactly is the point in crying for not having a thousand USD in your account in the USA when you have : a store, house, cars, well educated children ,safety ,and health - possibly a Nija home and car seff, all paid for. (Some things you couldn't have gotten in two lifetimes in Nija ).
Who knows, in the end, one of those kids you sacrifice your whole life for (while having a sane livelihood), can decide to use his/her expertise to deliver the new generation Nija. Thanks to you. Yes, there's always one.
This is to inform you all that now for every registration TOEFL & GRE a past Question with free reading material follows. That will enable y'all to prepare well for those test. Simply register and get the copies in .pdf format.
Welcome bro. You need both for funding and all. However, there are schools or courses that may waive the SAT, I think. You really need it though. PM me if you can.
Bettertomorrow1: Thanks for your respond Applying for a UNI , what test will be best to take SAT or TOEFL?
fSociety: With all the witchcraft and wizardry, dem neva enter Forbes list. Abeg go sit down with your tales by moonlight. Only lazy imbeciles believe that thrash.
So sorry about everything ..... I hope no visa agent is involved.....
First, after going through the web, I found that HCC.is a community school with 100% acceptance rate and no application fee . Before going back there (embassy )for future success, you want to get admitted into a school (a university), that is ...........kind of competitive. Now prior to this, try to take GRE or GMAT -- at least take TOEFL .This will show that you have good intentions and indeed a student .
Second, Just know that you have raised a red flag with your last interview, therefore, there's no point in going back there to raise it even higher by scheduling another one . I once read of a guy who went in 7times . He took with him proves upon evidences upon documents (e remain for him to tell the VO to follow him home, so he can show him...... ).Still, he was denied (island of red flags). You don't want to force it.

Vo- am sorry you are not..................
Brothers and sisters in the hus..I want to apply again, but i need advice from you guys as regard to this questions 1.which standardize test will I take? 2.can I register now, take the test and still meet up with the resumption date 18th May? 3.Could it be that community college is an issue?
To begin any process of standardized test now I will need a copy of ID. I did discount registration for 2 individuals today and they block me off and didn't send in Naira. I will be needing a valid ID before I register any examination now. I don't know why people in Nigeria still act this way! It's just to help millions here who couldn't afford the full test cash now they are trying to play smart.
Please enhance forth if you can't send your valid ID ( prefarably Int. Passport) that match the test name dont bother contacting me. Please kindly adhere to this instruction. And also if you don't have any reason to write exam don't contact me.
NOTE: Some people also send mssgs to me to give them the money. They will go register their self, Please I'm not sharing money , I'm not a politician.
Hello sir, please I have been trying to reach you. Check your pm.
HonNellymike12: Start drinking your urine, the first urine early morning consistently and watch how you be healed. It's called urine therapy without spending a dime. It's working for me and it will work for you if you believe
Big Boss, have you finally figured out what lies after suicide cause am sure there are a lot of people really ready to indulge. Are you sure the aftermath is better?
Advise: Stay out of everything harmful. Pray! Pray! Pray! Research! Read! Read! Ask questions! (go for outsiders). Make up your mind to leave this country. Serve! (NYSC) you can manage all your exams at this point. Find out if really your brother is interested in helping you (tell yourself the truth!! ). I have six family members in the US, they can pay your fees, house rents, get you to run all the errand for them in Nigeria. They can even marry for you so that you can forget about your American dreams. But the truth is that all it takes is proper planning, prayers and patience. Besides I'd rather do it for myself than have someone else do it for me.
MY POINT? All you can ever get from a FAMILY MEMBER in the US who doesn't want you there are the worst advices ever! and BLUE papers from -you know where.
odigbosky: Thanks boss. i would be rounding up next year and this NYSC issue is giving me headache. i don't want to waste an extra year serving this country that doesn't even care if i exist. i have 5 younger ones and my dad God bless him is getting old. I am currently doing a program in Microbiology and i don't know how useful i will be over there with my certificate. I use to have hope in this country but all i have now is a rope for suicide.
Fish123: Yeah, porting out of this Buhari jungle nah in sure pass o but weting i dey say be say the guy get blood broda for yankee and the bro dey dull him,nah in make me talk say person wey get head no get cap and person wey get cap no get head.
Very true, I don't think his brother wants him there. However, now is not the time to look for who wants to help you or who would carry you there. Slow down, do it the right way, it might take longer than you planned but am sure you ll get there one day.
My dear if you invest a little, you would bit your finger, if you invest a Million that would mean a million tears......
Where would our capital go to? Where would our Interest come from? In whose account? Unto which levels?
.....the only thing that smells here is PONZI. But this time, it's a more deadly type.
MissRike: This seems like a very good offer, so if I decide to invest 1 million naira, how much will i get as the interest rate? Please, can I get ur email address?
