winterstorm: If you can get someone to pay for you in the state 72,000 or a little more is okay. However, if you plan to pay in Eco Bank Seme branch, make sure to go with 85,000 for that exchange and an additional 7 to10,000. Note Go with 90,000 (in Naira) Not the EcoBank on the Nigerian side. Make sure to print out your coupon number and take it with you. (To avoid oke afufu [too much suffering]) Take your passport with you. Beware of agents that charge additional 20 to 30,000 to make the payment for you in Nigeria. It could just be a waste of your time, money..... and time. You don't want to do that. Sorry I miscalculated. Here it is. |

http://americanscholarsacademy.com/index.php/sevis/ Stay away from those sites. Go and make your payment in Seme to avoid stories that .... A friend was asked to pay 20,000 just to be directed to the bank that pays it in Nigeria, that too is a big fraud. |

VECOH1: Good morning everyone,Please I really need your counsel, it is urgent. F1 visa appointments are filling up fast and my resumption date is fast approaching. I already have my SEVIS ID. My question is this- is it possible to book my Visa appointment without paying for my SEVIS Fee, because SEVIS fee payment might delay a little. I will appreciate your replies from anyone with experience. @Winterstorm- I will appreciate your input. Thanks. Yes you can but you have to pay for visa fee. Most importantly, you need to keep the correct DS-160 confirmation number. |

Beauideal: Pls how do I book an appointment without filling DS160 form. If you already have your SEVIS ID e.g N00911... Pay your visa fee. Try filling your DS-160 to where you fill in your SEVIS ID, save and copy out your DS-160 confirmation number. This number should be given to you at the beginning of your DS-160 registration e.g AA00419..... Next, open the book appointment page, put in your payment receipt number and and your confirmation number..there you are!..... Make sure you save or print that confirmation number, you will need it to complete the DS-160 form when you are ready. Make sure you use the correct DS-160 confirmation number before filling in your Gtb receipt number. Visa fee is nonrefundable ooo. Have you paid your SEVIS fee?? Make sure you have the correct SEVIS ID. |

kodeya: Good day,
I have a Btech degree in Pure and Applied Chemistry and I graduated with a 2.2 (3.47).
Please do recommend good schools for Msc in environmental chemistry.
I would prefer ones that requires ONLY TOEFL and not GRE.
Thank you. It all depends ....There are lots of them with only TOEFL requirement, but you still need to take GRE for your scholarship. In fact, you really need it to increase your visa chances (not saying it's a guarantee though). First, read all you can here (so you can get the idea without asking yamayam questions(so you don't look lazzii)). Take up your phone and Google, google anything that comes to mind e.g. , the first educated monkey in the world, why Randa Rousey joined WWE.... Or why I love her... or Best universities in USA 2018.... Any way, see their ranking and requirements... Read closely and carefully..... See if you fit in somewhere... Decide the coursessss you want. Decide the state you like.. See the job opportunities.. Decide if you can afford the tuition or opt for scholarship. Pay your application fee.... Then , come back...I believe we can take it from there. OR just come back without paying the fee, we can still take it from there |

sweetmb4real200: Please I need someone to help me shed more light on the possibility of v.o’s approving visa for an individual going to university of Idaho through there global student success program. The benefit of the g.s.s.p is that you are Not applying with either gre nor toefl ,the first two terms is for English courses and other pre masters subject. You tend to pay a deposit to book your seat before your I-20 can be issued to you. May I know if this is a credible way when presented to the v.o as I have done my research on the program and also the school. Please gurus in the house , help with this . I don't know about this program. However, I m very sure that your deposit (even your tuition) does not guarantee your visa. You need to convince the Vo that you are a genuine student plus financially buoyant to do that program. |

Arizona042: Big bros leave that guy, everything you said here is true.Your analysis is on point. I have a friend, we graduated in the same faculty in UNN in 2013.He was the best in faculty. VC sponsored his masters in civil engineering in Columbia University, an ivy league and in top ten uni in America. Spent more than $70k. Dude graduated and started working in a construction coy in New York but he always complain of lack of money and having too much bills to pay! I had a financial problem some time ago and asked him to lend me $300 to pay back in a month but to my greatest suprise, this guy said he does have!!! Each time he enters nija, he does it on a very low key to shy away from friends.Even his parents can relate to this! now, he has enrolled in coding botcamp in order to get a job in IT industry even after paying millions of naira in Columbia. Bros, leave them make dem dey quote figures, make dem go borrow $1million go school for America, e go clear them for Now let's not get carried away here, one thing has nothing to do with the other.... He did not give you because you don't pay... Simple. Some people don't just like familiar spirit. |
