This sensor was removed from the car and the mechanic is calling an exorbitant amount for it. He said that he changed up to 3 or more of it.... I think the guy has been ripping me off, please help me... No money oo.

My questions are:
How much is it? Each of em.

How many are they in a hyundai sonata engine?

And what's the name?

Try this

Drain engine oil.

Pour 4 liters of diesel (yes I said diesel) pour it into where there should be engine oil.

Start the engine, leave it to run for 10mins idling.

After 10mins drain diesel, open oil pan, clean the filter, open VVTI solenoids (if dual open both) clean strainers. Replace oil filter.

Pour fresh oil and use car.

Repeat these steps like 2-3times withing 5days.

Upsides, it might work

Down sides, it might start smoking.

It doesn't hold power... If you start the car... It will go off or else you lr leg is on the accelerator.

Every one owns a diagnostic tool ranging from different functionality but not everyone knows how to use one. What was the scan result for this scan carried out. Answer these questions

1) does the oil light flickers when driving

2) does it stay permanently on when driving

3) does the light come up on first igntion

4) when you say can't hold power do you hear any unusual sound when driving?

This problem started when it was noticed that the engine oil light came on, it was weird cuz oil changed last year December or so.,
Added a liter to the engine, then took it to be changed [oil] while going there... It started this problem, if you crank the car on... It won't hold poor... It starts but doesn't hold power.
Took it to mechanic, not his work.
Took it to a renowned electrician, using his diagnostic tools... He said it's the crankshaft sensor... We have changed the sensor and still the same issue still prevail.
Please help !

From the recent indications, my sponsor is my aunt that resides in Michigan, I wanted to apply to a good college in Michigan.
Thus my questions are.
1. Will it raise a red flag and why please?
2. Can I apply to a school outside Michigan but on getting there go back to Michigan?
