Good day all... i will be travelling soon to the UK, Egyptair and Etihad are the airlines on my mind.... sooo, i wanna get reviews or advice on the best airline to follow based on:

1. Layover, is anyone gonna lodge the flyer in a hotel or you wait in the lounge or something?

2. Inflight entertainment, which one gives better food and entertainments like drinks, cable sockets, screen for movies?

3. Comfortability, which one has better leg space as am pretty tall?

4. Baggage allowance, you know what i mean ba?

5. Other necessary reviews or comment not listed here.

VISA GRANTED!!!!!!

Timeline:

22nd January - Bio-metric & Interview

23rd January - application transferred to DMC

24th January - Deferred Complex/application not straight forward mail

January 31st - Collection mail

FEBRUARY 3rd- Passport collected & Visa Granted

Service Type: Priority

vac: Abuja

Whole process is 11/12 days.

Note: Visa was actually stamped on 28th Jan.

I have been a silent reader here, refresh and visit here like 5 times daily.

Tip: Dhl was the courier that way billed my passport, on their tracking site, it reads that it still in Portharcourt while I have collected it here in Enugu. After two or three days always go their office and ask for your passport.

This is a wonderful platform. God bless each and every one that contributed to this wonderful thread.

I am using the airline on the 1st also. Expect for the long layover i think it’s generally fine and since they provide free hotel and food. It’s not too bad

1. Yes it's possible to collect the result same day. Just make sure you book like 8am or 9am appointment.
2. Yes you can apply same day. Preferably, next day
3. It's only super priority applicants that won't be interviewed. So yes, you will interviewed same day

I know that am gonna have to go for an interview, i just wanted to be sure bout the timing because someone told me that i will have to go and do my biometrics in Abuja or Lagos, then go home and wait for a later date for an interview... i was confused, am gonna apply for priority visa btw.

1. Can i do my TB test and collect the result same day or the next day? how long does the result take to be out?

2. My bank account will be ready by 2nd January,

Can i apply the same day?

If i apply for priority visa, will i be interviewed the day i go for biometrics or am i gonna have to wait for a later date or what? please.

You should be able travel a month before your course start date or 7 days before your intended date of travel whichever comes first.
Abuja or Lagos? It all depends which is closer. Although I prefer Abuja because calm.

Zoey1:
Value added services does not give you a better chance at getting a visa, it only speeds processing time if your application is straight forward.
If its not straightforward ,you might pay for priority and still not get an outcome in a month.
Abuja or Lagos , the choice is yours, both are TLS centres, not British High Commission.
You can travel a month before start of course.

Between Abuja and Lagos which one is better?

How long before school resumes can I embark on my journey outta naija? Someone said 10 days, but I can see 30 days or so on UK's immigration website.
