Flaame:Yes single entry is the appropriate to select in the visa form. Which one is your university? |
strangest:Kindly email them to drop it or you will take legal actions. If you have sent your manuscript for publication to journals in Elsevier, Taylor, Springer, they won't accept from initial submission due to their strong plagiarism software. As far as I know, top journals in these publishers run 2-3 plagiarism tests before sending out for reviewing, during peer review and after acceptance before publication. |
ynwtobby:Read the pages. Best wishes as you read! |
Dora1996:OKTB is not free and individual can’t access it directly, it’s usually chain reactions especially for travelers from Nigeria. If your agent is charging you what you can’t afford regarding OKTB, I will advise you apply for visa. Generally, most of the universities will register students till March 10-15. So go ahead and apply for visa. Email me and let me know what’s ur agent charge Best wishes in your decision! |
solidworks:Acceptance letter is the same as the admission letter. |
kingjoe:Hi, Kindly look up, I have given detailed steps to follow for a research proposal, follow the same steps. The proposal should be what you wish to do during your PhD. We don’t know it, only you know it. Come up with a rough skeleton of your intended research, visit google scholar, Elsevier, Taylor, springer and Wiley and type the keywords in your proposed research and check out related published work. I just did for you in the mention websites: energy efficiency in residential buildings You can see that over 200,000 research articles have been published in terms of energy efficiency in residential buildings. Its quite easy to search, download, read and follow steps above. That's how it is done. A potential PhD student must learn how to use a wide array of sources to find details/information for their research. See the screenshots, follow it and read, then come up with what you intend to do and from reading you will come up with your own angle and develop it. Best wishes

kunlesmiles:Sure I can suggest topics for you. Excel is good but it’s output and various analyses for a professional manuscript in your area of research is low/poor for now. Try get either OriginLab or Graphpad... learn the basics on how to used them. Back to the question how much of isotherm and kinetics models you know ? |
asunmoGGMU:Turkey usually has twice a year general scholarship for almost all citizens in the world. Do you know? if not when is open for next entry, I will post the link here and you can apply. Also, if you cant find a PhD in your exact chosen area, can you just shift a bit to related? This may be helpful. |
Ujawissy:Congrats and am happy to hear this. There is a tonnage of research you may be able to do. However, if you don't mind some time to foot your research cost then that will be fine due to lack of facilities as you earlier said. If you are interested in Renewable energy that is very good. Will you be interested in Energy conversion/storage/production system? 1. like conversion of sunlight into electricity via a flexible mobile solar cell 2. Supercapacitor for energy storage just like a battery but more efficient 3. Microbial fuel cell to treat wastewater and produce bioelectricity? |
chalxdon:I am happy for you and congrats regarding your recent job interview. As soon as you are fully employed, please come back to this forum; I will be happy to guide you so you can lay a strong research footprint in your institution. Best wishes |
kunlesmiles:Well done, you have shown good interest in research, I will encourage you to do more. You are an exceptional researcher and I really want to be like you. My Master's degree thesis was on "Silver Nanoparticle-Assisted Adsorptive Desulfurization by Composted Agro-Waste Activated Carbons".Now, I will assist you in this regard to put you through how to publish your master thesis. So I will need a few things from you and you can follow these steps to polish your master thesis to make it suitable for publication. First answer the following questions: 1. Do you have the raw data for each experiment? 2. How many times do you carry out each experiment for the parametric effect? 3. Do you have an effect of dosage of adsorbent, treatment time, initial adsorbate concentration, pH effect, solution temperature, desorption/reuse cycle experiments> 4. Which characterization did you perform on your adsorbent? You have FTIR, SEM, EDS, TGA, XRD, XPS (just list what you did in this regard) 5. Tell me how many isotherms (Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin, Toth, etc) you have in your thesis? 6. Tell me how many kinetic models you fitted your experimental results with (Pseudo-ist, Pseudo-2nd, Webber, intraparticle etc)? 7. Any thermodynamic results? 8. Which software did you use for graphical? So if we have the above results, then that really great..we can proceed smoothly. If not, tell me what you have, then I can tell you which to determine and calculate. If all is set, I will send you a structured pathway to reduce you thesis into a article-like format of two proposed journal to publish your work, ensure your plagiarism is far less than 10% when you want to send me ready work and language is suitable for publication. I will read, make corrections, enhance your work if need be, and submit your work. If you have access to a lab, while the current manuscript is being submitted for publication, I will give you other work on related to subject to start and then you can understand more. I believe through this pathway you will learn how to do proper research, learn how the publication is done in a reputable journal. With two more, you will be able to stand on your own and teach others and carry on with your career. |
jeswinner:The proposal should be what you wish to do during your PhD. We don’t know it, only you know it. Come up with a rough skeleton of your intended research, visit google scholar, Elsevier, Taylor, springer and Wiley and type the keywords in your proposed research and check out related published work. Download a few of them, dissect it to understand how they’ve done it, the methodology used and parameters or theories researched. Check the shortcomings, challenges faced and look where you can come in to provide solutions to the knowledge gap. Jolt down and re-plan to see if you will be introducing new methods, or if you will be providing cleaner solutions, low-cost alternatives or performance enhancements in existing services/products. Google sample proposal, couple all your skeletons sketches and form a sound proposal. Don’t copy and paste and don’t take others work without credit. Ensure your proposal has general elements such as brief introduction, the problem, existing solutions (with references), you may highlight the current shortcomings/weakness, your approach (methodology), implications and proposed outcomes. Scientific, economics, societal, environmental and general benefits. You may also highlight the current skills you have to support your proposed approach. Check and proof ....that’s is it... you did it! |
ObodoNaija:Visit Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Wiley and Springer publishers....they have top quality journals in almost all field. As a researcher, you must learn how to search for information which you must have done during your literature review. Quality journals should share the majority of these characteristics: 1. Well known and reputable publishers 2. Indexed in recognized, verifiable databases such as SCI, SSCI, AHCI, MCI etc and found in WOS. 3. The Journal follows standard review system (single or double-blind peer review platforms) 4. Editorial members of the journals are respected academics from reputable universities widely spread across the continent So find journals in the above-listed publishers, check if the journal aims, scopes and nature of article published are related to your manuscript, read the authors guideline and follow that to format your manuscript, register with the journal and submit your manuscript. Best wishes |
olawalepopoola:This is quite impressive. Congrats and you may slightly summarize what your work is about for specific and layman to know what the work is about. Am impressed and keep going! |
solidworks:Apply for a visa via the Turkish embassy Abuja website and visit Mz visa website as well for details of documents you need to submit at the embassy after you receive payment confirmation from EMU. You can check Turkish embassy Abuja website for details of document you can start preparing those documents now. Upon registration at EMU, the government will select hospital for you in Cyprus to take the medical tests. Medical results from abroad is not acceptable. |
Josskute:Yes they accept maximum 27 last time I applied for a student. |
Flaame:I can only answer based on trends from my students. For this incoming semester, I have recruited 98 students to various universities in Cyprus, 62 among these students opted to apply for visa and so far 85% obtained their visas within 15 days of visa applications, 10% just applied and 3% applying next week and 2% submitted visa application and currently almost 2 months no response now. 36 of my recruited students decided to go via OKTB, where 28 have arrived since and others am processing their OKTB towards Feb 25 due to Flight prices. So that’s the trend....Turkish embassy does not have a fixed processing days, so response will be based on visa issuance rate each semester. Most of the university wil registers new students till March 15, you may ask your specific university though. |
terrywales:Yes you can cancel and apply again from beginning. |
Flaame:Go to WAEC office to get CONFIRMATION OF RESULT stamped and signed original copy will be fine. |
strangest:Please withdraw your manuscript from predatory journals and don’t waste your research efforts. I have said severally here on how to find reputable journals. Please I will encourage you and upcoming researchers to focus on publishing with Elsevier, Springer, Taylor and Francis, Wiley publishers... these are reputable publishers and all subscriptions based journals are FREE.....your manuscripts will go through various peer-reviews, you will receive revisions, make adjustments if is considered worthy and get published. Majority of predatory journals make decisions about your article in their bedroom, no peer-review or kitchen-based peer reviewed. Next will be your article is accepted and pay. When you pay, at the end you will find out your published article worth nothing while those predators smile to the bank. I have been part of jury for selection of academic staff and researchers not only in my region but as external for number of countries; countless applicants with dozens of fake articles have been shortlisted for positions. I have seen applicants with over 46 articles published and less than 3 of these articles belong to reputable sources. Best wishes |
Recent Publication Now: Low-cost and highly efficient Antibacterial Polymeric Materials for Food packaging Summary: With the growing concern of biofilm-associated infections and drug-resistant bacteria, an increasing interest in developing novel antibacterial agents is an urgent priority. Metal oxide-based polymeric materials are able to distinguish mammalian cells from bacterial cells and thus provide long-term antibacterial growth inhibition. In this research, we report the preparation of MgO, NiO and chitosan-coated metal oxide (CS–MO) nanocomposites via a simple in situ chemistry approach. All the samples exhibited antibacterial activities against the Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus strains; however, more effective against S. aureus compared to E. coli. Noticeably, 5 mg/mL CS–NiO comparatively exhibited highest bactericidal capability where E. coli and S. aureus viabilities were reduced to 25–47% after 12 h incubation. After treatment with 15 mg/mL of CS–NiO, 98% of S. aureus and 92.3% of E. coli cells were inhibited. Research Results: The CS–MO nanocomposites present superior antibacterial efficacy compared to chitosan or the metal oxides alone. The material is now re-designed as an antibacterial film for food packaging. Results here are published in a reputable journal: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF POLYMERIC MATERIALS AND POLYMERIC BIOMATERIALS. Researcher: Prof. Wip7, Another professor of biomaterial and toxicology, my PhD student from Iraq and Another PhD student from Spain. Laboratory: Research carried out at Eastern Mediterranean University and Disease Control Center Spain.
