The rate at which people are claiming plots of land in this part eeeeh, the part is moving at a supersonic speed. 11 pages within 24hrs. With this speed, I just hope there will be enough time for those who pray to get PPR to get it, before this part comes to a close. ![]() |
A new part already! I must announce my PPR in this part IJN. Amen! |
IQAS has just released me ooo and I just got soft copy of ECA since applying on 9th April. ( 6 months ) IQAS is a mini post-ITA patience trainer. ![]() Diving into the pool now, although my CRS score is below current trend, expecting spouse's ECA hopefully before month end to bring us up to required CRS level. NB: Although I dnt encourage anyone who is in haste to use IQAS, if you have already started your IQAS process, feel free to ask me anything. |
Biggggg Congratulations dear LadyMarshall!!!! At long last after a long wait! This really shows that there is hope for everyone. Please know that you are highly celebrated and God has indeed rewarded your labour of love and selflessness and sincere desire to help others. Congrats again and happy for you. ladymarshall: |
I don't think there is any issue with this. However, you can do a one and same person affidavit. This will also be a useful document during your actual EE document submission/upload. igboin1: |
For SINP, what if you have had about 90% of the required POF before the 3 months prior to the nomination and then you get the remaining 10% of POF just within the 3 months before the nomination? Will that be acceptable? ednut1: |
![]() If this was the case, then Canada would have been filled up by now and Naija would be empty. TOKNOW:

Great ZIKKIT!! GREAT! I learnt many things from your story, but the best is this: "Wonders happen when couples work as a team!" May God favour you beyond measure in Cannyland! Big congratulations! Villagegirl: |
Mailed you. Jackolala: |
Wow!. That's great to know. More victories to us all. bukky18: |
Celebrating little victories. . . . My efamily, Join me to thank God oooooo! I just collected my IELTS results. I wrote on 17th August with MOD. I have been afraid about the bad experiences from many previous test takers. And that's one of the reasons I have hindered my spouse to come to this Nairaland group as she would be also writing this Saturday. This is my first and last attempt oooo! L : 8 R: 7.5 W: 7.0 S: 7.5 Overall band : 7.5 My materials: I used IELTS Liz YouTube videos for my speaking , listening and writing tips. I also used Jay and Chris ( IELTS advantage ) videos for my writing. As for reading, I just did a lot of practice using Cambridge 12 and 13 only. Also for speaking, before the exam I wrote down and practiced over 20 cue card topics on a variety of subjects. It helped a lot during the test as several questions were about what I already practiced. I was just flowing and the examiner enjoyed the conversation we had. I must say that the key to this exam is practice. Practice using Cambridge material. If you do well in the Cambridge tests you are bound to do well in the real exam. In writing test, I started with task 2 and spent more time in task 2. I also tried to proof read my work after writing. Also, after writing, I used my eraser to clean and replace many key words with different but similar words in order to show the examiner my wide grammatical range. Please do this with caution ooo. Don't use any word that you are not sure about the spelling! Appreciation: I want to thank every member of this group and expecially wasseynewest. I was also part of his Whatsapp reading group before he moved Canada. God bless him for his efforts. What lies ahead: I expect to get my ECA from IQAS next month ( I sent my doc's to them since April/May this year ). I pray that the good Lord will continue to help each and every one of us at various stages of this journey IJN. Amen. "The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step." |
bellong:Ok. Thanks. Please I sent you a pm. |
bellong:It is post degree work experience. The 2 years as a technician is the first job after nysc. After the 2 years experience, the second experience ( 6 yrs ) is an engineer experience ( was a promotion in same company ) |
PLS gurus and elders in the house, I need the 8 years experience points in order to make up for my low points in age and get the 65 points needed for 189 subclass PR visa. Now, my question is that I have an official 6 years experience as an engineer ( from my employment letter ), and 2 years experience as technician in the same engineering field, before becoming an engineer. Would both the 2 years and the 6 years amount to the required 8 years needed to claim the maximum points for experience? Will engineers Australia accept a combination of both to amount to the 8 years required? |

Great news: The Canada Child Benefit is going up next Saturday! That means more money, tax-free, for moms and dads across the country to spend where you and your kids need it most. Canada oh Canada...we can't wait to come, since our native land has no package for our kids. Source: https://twitter.com/JustinTrudeau/status/1150433050418978816?s=19 |
You mean they will be released within few days or weeks ? Anthonyo15: |
Any hope that the PROJECT RESULTS would be released subsequently ? |
I just check now and my project results for about a year now hasn't been released. I don't know why this school always delay in releasing project results ?Very saddening!!! pyruvateluv: |
Many thanks Hanna007 and Monimatic for creating this new thread and thanks to all members of this thread. You are doing a really good job. Let's work together to make the most of this Canadian immigration route. Whatever information that anyone has about the AIPP and RNIPP, let's keep sharing it here for the benefit of all. |
Don't worry. We must surely enter Canada by God's grace. Whether IQAS or ICES or IELTS likes it or not. It's only a matter of time. Daxbiz: |
Many thanks. jjohndoe83: |
I am exactly in the same situation with your bro. They seem overwhelmed with too many applications. I deeply regret using IQAS. I actually used them because my POF wasn't ready as at the time and thought I would get it ready before IQAS process the ECA with usual delays. But now miraculously POF is no longer a problem, but it's now the ECA. If I don't get any meaningful reply from them soon, I might consider doing another ECA using another assessing body. Daxbiz: |
What an amazing and well worded analysis! @LadyMarshall, I think you qualify for professor of anthropology ![]() I wonder how your PPR story would be. I can't wait for it! ladymarshall: |
They do, but they have a lower IELTS bands requirement. Federal Skilled Trades Program Canada requires a minimum of CLB 5 for speaking (5.0+) and listening (5.0+), and CLB 4 for reading (4.0+) and writing (4.0+). Scandinavian02: |
Big congratulations to you broh!!! Your story is such an inspiration to many and will continue to be for many months to come. I have stored your beautiful quote from Thomas Edison and it shall be part of my inspiration as I proceed in this the journey: "Our greatness weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try, just one more time" - Thomas Edison Topsmamen: |
In another news, EE 117th draw has just been held and ITA has been sent to 500 eligible applicants, but this is for the Federal skilled trades candidates with CRS of 332. Those finding it difficult to get a high CRS under the Federal skilled workers program, but are eligible for the Federal skilled trades EE program can start looking in that direction too. Skilled work experience eligible for the Federal Skilled Trades Class falls under the following categories of Canada’s National Occupational Classification (NOC): Major Group 72: Industrial, electrical and construction trades Major Group 73: Maintenance and equipment operation trades Major Group 82: Supervisors and technical jobs in natural resources, agriculture and related production Major Group 92: Processing, manufacturing and utilities supervisors and central control operators Minor Group 632: Chefs and cooks Minor Group 633: Butchers and bakers The Federal Skilled Trades Class is one of three economic-class immigration programs managed by the Express Entry system, with the other two being the Federal Skilled Worker Class and the Canadian Experience Class. Candidates in the Federal Skilled Worker Class and Canadian Experience Class with experience in an eligible trade would have been considered in today’s draw if they declared their skilled trade experience and possess the required certificate of qualification OR offer of employment. Interesting read about why a Nigerian earning 1M monthly left his job to relocate to Canada. The Canadian dream is worth it after all: https://www.nairaland.com/5181425/nigerian-man-reveals-why-he |
I love the bolded. What a determination! You can do a short landing with family and come back to Naija if you don't want to stay and be visiting Canada from time to time to retain your PR status. Big congratulations to you. We shall all get the pally, no matter what! ![]() Kswife: |
