Yorubas: rituals, robbery, rape, divorce, local cults such as Aiye, Eiye etc are increasing daily. Hausa: padophile, religious intolerance and killing, highest in divorce, cattle huslers, boko haram, high drug intake among the youths. Note i have lived in each and every parts of this country for years, having lived and stayed in 28 states in Nigeria as a result of the nature of my job. Confirm these also in media. The greatest people that i have ever met are the Magunzawa people:the original hausa people that dwell in scores villages of katsina, kano, kaduna. They are 100% christians, not yet polluted by worldly christianity. Others are Gwoza people, adamawa area. Generally we have good and evil people every. Where. |

Feranmicharles: Like seriously The last time I checked, nigerias population was 200Million. I'm just wondering who exactly are buyin these 250Million phones sold yearly. Yes my bros, some people will gulp this information without an iota of truth. This is practically impossible. Although Nigerians are less than 200mill population, less than half of the population among which are children/teens do not still have asses to cell phone. We have about 120 million lines or active sims which may translate just to about 60 million users because some of us has 3-5 sims. Eg, I do have pulse sim and me and u, have one for my moden, have a glo and airtel line, all actively been used.Even the boko boys, guy yahoo boys, kidnappers, atm breakers, armed robbers may have between 20-over 100 sim cards. There may be high incidences of fake cell phones but not sure it is upto a quarter of 250 mill. We have less than 60 mill people than owes phone ammounting to 120 sim card circulations that are not casually used. Thesame mistakes this govt is making when they come up with an impossible amount as been stolen money. The shock Nigerians will have is that their expectation of the huge stolen monies allegedely taking will not matrialised though i hope some handful will be gotten. I am in full support of Boohr fight and probing but exaggerating stolen fund beyond measure in other to excite the already excited Naija will be his regrets. |

I have to confess that i did not read such a shit damn stuff about ngozi. This does not remove Ngozi as the most powerful woman in Nigeria, the second the whole Africa and among the first 40 out of world greatest personality with the Dangote coming in far sixties out of the hundred. She is a potential world bank president. With a great family: both parents are professors, husband a professor in medicines, most of her kids graduated in their teens and becoming Phd holders in their twenties. She has done all for this ungrateful country despite the fact she is not a citizen of Nigeria. She once told the story how she was involved in cooking and fetching water for Biafran soldiers. Look at what is happening to the economy of Nigeria today just because of her 3 months exit from govt. We easily forget but not Ngozi's great achievement. WE NEVER KNEW WHAT WE HAVE UNTIL WE LOOSE IT. |

FatIjeomaOkolie: When will Mr Obiano start a Relocation programme for Igbo Immigrants in Yorubaland?
When will he start creating jobs in Anambra state? There are more Anambra people in Ibadan than in Anambra state itself. Lagos and Ogun is another story
Why are Anambrians running away from their villages? Is it that bad in Anambra?
Instead of Igbos and people of Anambra facing death and disgrace in foreign lands, they should stay in their land.
Ipob Youth Dont you have a good land in ibadan. Dont mind this Anambra people, they are ibadan to enslave the indigenes. They will eye your properties and buy up your ancentral lands. They will tell you they are not going any where. Dont stay in Nairaland and bark before you become a stranger in your fathers land. Anambra people are stronger. tsticks: I remember growing up as kids whenever we were asked what we would like to become in the future you will hear something like i want to become a doctor, lawyer, pilot, engineer or an accountant because these are jobs classified as being professional and we were made to idolized them by our teachers and even our parents. As time goes by we began to understand that there are hundreds of career out there one could pick up.
After a careful study and focused group discussion with rigorous analysis of the salary ranges for the thousands of jobs published on some job sites in Nigeria i arrive at this list. It is important to note that the list is by no means final but a well researched projection of jobs that will be considered most lucrative in the future based on the information garnered from different sources.
Here are the Top 6 Future Highest Paying Jobs in Nigeria
Aerospace Engineers
Aerospace engineers working in the country’s aviation sector got their professional and technical training outside the shores of the country and get paid handsomely. They are most likely licensed aircraft engineers and its a tasking profession that requires continuous technical expertise and sound judgement. Pilots earn well but do not come near the pay packet of aeronautical engineers.
Physicians – Obstetrics/Gynecologists
Examines female patients to ensure a healthy reproductive system. Monitors patient during prenatal, natal and postnatal periods and performs tests and prescribes medication and treatment, as necessary. Delivers babies, determining the method most appropriate to ensure health and safety of both infant and mother. Requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school and is licensed to practice. Pay varies greatly depending on area of practice.
Software Developer & programmer
The demand for software developers and programmers is growing at a geometric progression. The drastic growth in technology development which has creeped into third world countries has necessitated the need for people who are specialized in developing apps and writing programs for diverse purpose to address different burgeoning needs of the people. In Nigeria presently, with the increase in the use of smartphones and tablets software developer are becoming indispensable to the sustainability of this growth to develop social apps and programs people can relate with. These guys are hot cake even at the moment.
Creative Designers & Coding
I know you might be surprised seeing graphic designers here, yes, this is a job that will be paying 3-4 million per-annum in the future, i am not talking about quack or road side graphic designers, though they have their own share of the cake but am talking about professional graphic artistes that are highly creative and also do coding. These guys are always relevant and with the stiff competition in the market creativity will spot the difference.
Civil Engineer
Presently in Nigeria the business of real estate is becoming so popular that so many people want to become a real estate agent, because of this, the need for civil engineers in Nigeria in the future will be high because so many housing issue is still a basic problem in Nigeria
Digital Marketing Analyst
You might also want to argue this, the need for digital marketing specialist or analyst in the future will so be high requiring paying those who are experts in this field, this is because of numerous eCommerce company springing up everyday, the growth in online merchandising will definitely necessitated need for more competent hands in the future as these guys are not earning less than 3 million per-annum
It is no doubt that the issue of unemployment is at an alarming rate in Nigeria even while thousands of students are graduating every year, It doesn’t even matter again what course you studied in school it is now more of what you can do and what you have passion for with how many certifications you have to show for it. Almost a near perfect lists, i also hope Info tech and robotics was captured in all. You have done well. I want also to say medicine: obsterics etc is the least among the listed. They will only survive by developing more knowledge in robotics and human engineering. |

Now innocents are released and we are already wailing that they are Boko Haram. To satisfy Nigerians, u have to cure them of sentiment first. No wonder Amnesty International keep having problem with us. SMH Are you equally a boko haram or their sympathisers. Dont just be upset.
