In the spirit of transparency and accountability in the monitoring of the electricity market, the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has responded to the query issued it by the Senate on Fixed Charge, Estimated Billing and Sundry issues. In an address to newsmen; at the headquarter of the Commission, Chairman/Chief Executive of NERC, Dr Sam Amadi informed that the Commission received seven queries from Senate, which the Commission has respectfully responded to the queries touched on the customer complaints by electricity consumers, the fixed charge, bulk metering of customers and estimated billing NERC has finally instructed discos to abolish A letter addressed to the Senate by the NERC chairman, Dr. Sam Amadi, stated “The commission agrees with the Senate’s position on the need to eliminate the practice of bulk billing residential customers and replace the practice with individual metering and billing. It is important to state that the commission had previously abolished bulk billing in its ruling on the VGC Case CASE NO: NERC/H/03/07 (copy attached). This case was brought by a customer against the VGC Estate Management.” Amadi added that NERC would ensure that whatever Discos proposed for its approval was fair, reasonable and meant to improve the quality of power supply to consumers. Travis Austin Joy exposed his sick habit in the most ridiculous way ending up in police custody. He forgot his video camera while relocating from his home. His roommate, who discovered the camera and viewed the content filmed on it, was so shocked that he immediately alerted the police. Seven videos on camera depicted Travis Austin Joy raping various animals from around the neighbourhood – three dogs and a horse. According to the police source, Travis Austin Joy who is a three-time convicted felon, this time was charged with seven counts of animal cruelty and two times of harassment for making death threats to the roommate who reported him and the dog owner who recognised his poor pet on one of the videos. Joy pleaded guilty under the pressure of irrefutable evidence, adding that he needed these videos to watch them over and over without having to rape animals again. A year ago a legal practitioner from Lagos, Mr Clement Udegbe, wrote an article about pornography and its influence on Nigerians. He fears that Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano and Kaduna could become the hot centres of pornography in Nigeria – child pornography, pornography depicting violence such as rape, and pornography depicting sex of a human with an animal. One of the dog owners in the neighbourhood recognised his poor pet raped by a zoophile. source: https://www.naij.com/521210-photos-zoophile-raped-many-dogs-horse-neighbourhood-caught-ridiculous-reason.html

A picture of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi showing women praying in the front row with men is causing some really stormy reactions from some Nigerians on social media. In the photo, taken at the prayer ground during the recent Eid el-Fitr celebrations, the Alaafin of Oyo can be seen with his son, Prince Akeem Adeyemi, other chiefs and some of his queens (Oloris) at the second row. His son, Prince Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi aka Skimeh is a member of the Federal House of Representatives, Abuja on the platform of the APC. source: http://naijarchives.com/controversy-as-alaafin-of-oyo-prays-with-queens-in-front-row-at-prayer-ground/

its not really a must but to be on the safer side pls wear one. some employers might take it that you are not serious if others wore a suit and u dont. and even if u are d only one that wears a suit, its better than the other way round. i have been to a bank interview where everyone wore a suit and this guy came without a suit, he was asked to go out and wear one before he comes in for his interview. he had to collect from someone there. ![]() |
