Religion division can never work in South west no matter how hard you try. We told Igbos to use another strategy because classifying yorubas as yoruba-muslim and yoruba-christian is just waste of time. You can see how Ekiti and Ondo that are heavily Christian states locked out obi and Atiku from even getting 25%. Tinubu knows his yoruba-christians very well that if he plays muslim-muslim card, it is the only way to penetrate north and wins Atiku.

He knows no matter what good he does to please igbo-christians, they will keep with their long term hatred. You can see how far hatred has knocked down obi in this race sooner than expected because he failed to build bridges and carry others along. Obi had problems relating with northern muslims like Tinubu flows with every religion, so obi was quickly knocked down from the race. Even small vote obi got in Lagos is because of effect of Affenifere Yoruba leaders, obasanjo, Yoruba artists and and their supporters.

Yoruba muslims never had history of religion violence and terrorism in their life. @coolsperm,@princeoflagos and many other Igbos were told to stop wasting their times and labouring in vain from pretending like yorubas to cause religion division. They can now see how they failed woefully. Without yorubas giving support to obi, he wouldn't have gotten that kind of votes in Lagos and with that attitude of Obi/LP it, it may reduce political benefit of Igbos in Lagos because Tinubu is the same person that extended that love of inclusion to Igbos in Lagos, but if Igbos don't handle this situation well or if they combine it with arrogance, it may hurt them in future political inclusion in Lagos state
