bheegsam: Gud morning, fellow Nigerians. I've been experiencing very poor internet services on my multilinks cdma router(made by axesstel) for the past one year. am seeking your kind opinions in two aspects:
1. which other router/internet plan is d best for cafes in ota, ogun state and how much does it cost?
2. is it true that you can browse with dstv decoder cos i have an old decoder(not the new pvr decoders) and a dstv dish. what other materials do i need and how much do they cost(with pictures please). pls share ur sucess stories in this regard with useful screenshots on how to make the connections.

Am so sorry Sam, I cannot help you on this issue, I live in Lagos and I know only about the good ISPs in Lagos. I didn't respond before because I was trying to contact someone around where U are for advice but I have been unable to.

As for the DSTV use as a Modem, I have also heard it, but never tried with my decoder. I will seek answers for you and will get back soon.

U were sold unregistered software. Go and buy another licence for your OS.

Pls make sure you go back to bios and load setup default
we made some changes and it's important to load default
before ading another hard drive

And [b]backup your data [/b]using a [b]usb hard drive enclosure [/b]and after that
reinstall windows. you need to connect the enclosure to another computer and would auto
detect your drive. read the instruction that came with the product or go to a copu tec shop
to get your data backup (if you have any)

I think you app is not completely downloaded. Try using a download manager for your downloads. Could also be dat it gat corrupted.

Can u play CD/DVD on the device normally? If NO; then replace the CD/DVD drive.

If YES; then you need to 'tell' your PC to boot from the CD/DVD drive.( Restart--press F9 for boot option--choose your CD/DVD drive--press ENTER key)

Also check that it has a restore partition, If yes:

- Restart your PC and press f11 as it boots. (This takes you to the restore mode)
- Follow the prompts.(Its pretty straight forward)

You PC is searching for the boot media without success. U need to replace the hard disk and reinstall the operating system.

My OGA just want you to carry out the test to be sure what exactly the problem is. Your above comment confirms that there is no boot media on your computer.

Yes sir, U can. But is a function on your bandwidth size. If you are using the service from any of the mobile phone providers(MTN, AIRTEL etc) then you will need to get ready to pay for another subscription in like a few hours. Am sure you would have exhausted your limit(file is almost 5GB). if you have a good radio or VSAT service with a very good bandwidth, YOU ARE A GO!!!!

OK now let's be realistic: why would U wanna download when U can easily buy or borrow the CD. You only need to pay for the SERIAL KEY to authenticate your software as GENUINE.

My advice; buy the key online from microsoft and buy the software from village(200 naira or so), better still buy the complete pack(CD + key) for just about 20k(I know someone who can give you discount)

Have you confirmed that the charger is fine?

If NO plz do, If YES then you will need to take it for repairs. It is a problem with a part of or the entire motherboard.

CAUSE: your village guy installed an unlicensed operating system on the laptop. You went online and your computer tries to download windows update, microsoft automatically do windows genuine test and your PC failed.

SOLUTION:
1. Buy new OS(original) just about 20k.(Best bet)
2. Continue using like dat. Issue is; U can't get the latest windows update.
3. There is this app that can help U out. Can't remember the name. Issues are you have to turn off automatic updates or don't use yo PC online. (Not recommended) I don't subscribe to software piracy.

Your HP: best bet is to restore the system state to an earlier time before the whole wahala started. I suspect one of the apps you installed is corrupt. Send me a mail at woleaheeb@gmail.com and I will give you the steps.

We proceeded directly to the venue of the Service of Songs. It was a ten minutes walk from the school field where the helicopter had landed, and it offered an opportunity to see the sprawling ancient community and the new developments taking place. The people were very happy. They were seeing new faces – ministers; governors; commissioners; corporate executives and citizens they only read about and saw in the news walk on the new rigid pavements of their community. I think above all, they wowed at the Nollywood stars who dazzled the natives to disbelief.Ramsey Noah, Rita Dominic, Segun Arinze et al, then the big masquerade – Kanu Nwankwo was right there. The primary school was sufficiently solicitous of intervention. The classroom had neither doors nor windows, in fact it looked abandoned. While we stood inside I asked why a primary school in Mr. Douglas’s home would be this wrecked. I called a young man, and in intense curiosity I began to question him. My findings were that a new primary school was being developed and new community library built and well equipped. I was satisfied, I would have been disappointed.

General Azazi watched these happen. Now it was time to take him on. I had not seen him since his removal as NSA. He was a deep man, and I was eager to hear him say something. He brought up a few issues and we all talked with surplus warmth. We hadn’t pressed him enough when the Navy helicopter appeared within sight in the sky.

He offered us the two spare seats in the helicopter, but we declined as our chopper was at that moment already landing. He pulled George Kerley aside for a two-aside. They talked for about two minutes, and he joined Governor Yakowa again, as they strolled on the rigid pavement into the boisterous windy path of the chopper. The pilots dismounted the chopper to greet their VIP passengers; they looked smart in their military uniform. It was the governor’s and the general’s final handshake.

Mr. Darego Williams, a seasoned pilot turned business man was joining our chopper back to Port Harcourt. He cringed at the manner the chopper had taken off and didn’t stop starring at the effects of the rotor blades. I noticed he was a little uncomfortable, but then he had been off the cockpit for over two decades, so he contained thoughts.

Less than ten minutes later, we were ready to go. The captain welcomes us on board and soon after we were in the air. We had just done about 10 nautical miles when the pilot suddenly did a 180 degree turn. Mr. Darego Williams was curious and called on the captain. The captain apologized to all on board and announced to us that a helicopter had just ‘gone down’. He actually meant ‘crashed’. We were the first search party.

Less than a minute ahead, smoke plumed from the thick swampy forest. It was a clear sign of danger. We did about four low fly passes to capture the coordinates of incident site. Our helicopter had ingested the smoke and smell of burning metals, wires and flesh. We could see the helicopter and the appendage bearing the ‘NAVY’ inscription had severed from the main body. The moment was intense, we doubted the very facts we knew. We all believed some miracle could have happened; the worst case was not an option. It just could not be true.

- what r u connecting to?(Public wifi, home or office router)
- r u the only one connected to this gateway?
- are u sure U r connected to the correct network?

Obviously U r on DHCP but for some reason your PC has not acquired the IP.

Please go to your command prompt (start-'type cmd'- press enter) then type 'ipconfig /all copy and share the output den things will get clearer.

Try blowing the keyboard with compressed air. If I'd doesn't work den U will have to change the keyboad.

Reinstall d driver 1st if it doesn't work den you will have to replace it.

This is a driver issue. Go to the website of your PC manufacturer and click on the download driver
Then choose the OS you are using and also the driver your are looking for.
