my interview is on the 28th october, my deadline was extended to the 13th of november..... And my school is universitat trier, in the city of trier, rhineland palatinate

I thank God I was Able to answer all their questions but it was the old German lady kind of harsh but all was ok, I was told my application as been sent to Germany and once they get reply they will inform me. praying hard now and in panic. bissiejoe: For guys going for undergraduate especially thru uni-assist,make sure you have a one-yr transcript of a university in ur homecountry.For nigerians,you need ur HND(have seen someone used OND distinction on this thread and got admission).it is on uni assist website,but I can't say for the unis not under uni-assist.

I kindly advice visa applicants to get an accommodation or hotel rservation before they arrive. I had to run 'helter-skelter' for a whole day before i got one. Great thanks to some Nigerians and more especially, the German students whom I met in the school, who helped me with my luggage and also to get an accommodation. I sincerely love this country! Expecting more good news from other applicants... wish you guyz the best.

its a good cgpa I got something similar and still got my admission, but it all depends on the school and their requirements.... You will get more info on the schools website which I would advice you to do so as to get firsthand info... Goodluck

He said since d student visa is 3 months (which will later be extended), dat i need to get a return ticket which is about 172k else i Might not be allowed to Fly at d check Point. Pls, those who purchased emirate, did u Book one way for d 3 months visa? Secondly, pls which other Airline can allow me to Fly one way from Lagos to Frankfurt even at a cheaper rate? I think its always advisable to book for a return ticket sha, but I am not sure on this just saying from what friends that has travelled told me

The schools wey accept me no send me letter o! Na d one wey reject me dey send me letter like say na fight. The way they wrote the REJECTION as if am a threat to the University... D tin tire me o

aroyem4u: Another success story has been recorded on this thread. Apparently, my visa decision was ready all along. As soon as I sent my confirmation of blocked account to the embassy this morning, I got THE MAIL asking me to come with 3 months traveling insurance. Thanks to everyone that supported me on this thread. I'm really grateful... Cheers.

franklysco: Went for my interview today. I was the only guy going for MSc. The old woman and the black naija woman asked of my resumption date and I told them ( which closed on the 4th).I also told them that mine was extended, n they requested for the confirmation but I didn't have it. Actually, I was only given till 18th of october.
Eventually, I did the interview and it went fine. The old woman was smiling all through. But, she said I should contact the school today asking for an extension of my resumption to 30th, that my VISA could come earlier tho, and forward her their response. She gave me her email and my VISA application number(to quote).

CHALLENGE; the school has already given me a deadline of 18th, and I just sent them a mail now requuestiing for an extension. Right now an scared of their of what they'll reply.
Need your prayers guys!!!

Angel Diamond: Lagos to Frankfurt, Frankfurt to Dusseldorf by train..........all bills on Lufthansa............it was 638 Dollars.........that`s about 135,000 Naira.....It is a return ticket, one way ticket is really expensive, so you can book return ...........but you really don`t have to use the return ticket anyway.You are allowed to check in 2 luggages of 23kg each, with hand luggage of 8kg.............if you are not travelling with much...then you can book emirate......its way cheaper but allows only one luggage of 30kg...

Angel Diamond: I flew Lufthansa..........my ticket was booked with a credit card in London........
My story: Before booking i asked a question on nairaland about showing card when checking in my luggage or boarding and someone said i will show the card because he or she was asked to show his own.....I called Lufthansa Lagos to confirm and i was told YES! i will show the card i used to book.....I told the lady that the card that will be used is not in my name and she advised i get the cash and pay myself......A popular boss here on nairaland also said they won`t ask.....
The card holder called Lufthansa London, and he was told that i do not need to show card, that they stopped asking for card since June 2012.....
I got confused and did not know which to follow.....as i would be flying from Nigeria.....
On the day of my departure, i was too carried away to remember the ticket was booked with a card not in my name.....It was when i landed i remembered no one asked atall.....
Atleast, i am sure now that Lufthansa does not ask for cards.........may be different for other airlines though....

suckermaterial: please I need help. I mailed my enrolment officer that am still waiting for my visa and if they can help to fast-track the visa because the welcoming ceremony started on 1st of Oct, but lectures starts on 14th of Oct. she mailed me this morning that the last date is today.
I mailed embassy immediately to inform them that am still waiting for my visa, the responded that I should ask my sch to mail them that they have extended my resumption date so that they can finish d visa procession. I quickly forwarded the mail to my enrolment officer, international office, campus office and dean of my faculty.
please is there anything I should do again. I need ur answers.
