Yes BYD is a big threat. Nio introduced a battery swapping technology that if implemented properly would kill off Teslas charging infra which is one of Teslas USP.

But the mad man is all about autonomous driving which is not going to sit well with regulators and drivers in general.

The only way he could capture the market altogether is to find a way to improve the range to at least 600 miles on a single charge, then the range anxiety would be banished. If not, Tesla is going to go extinct. Don't get me started on the cybertruck.
