There are real texts written by Plato and Socrates though and these texts are still available.

Jesus didn’t write any (even if he did, so haven’t seen any) all text written about him are traced back to when he was assumed death, unlike for Plato and Socrates.

Of course, atheists will have no problem agreeing that such persons existed, due to their contributions to academia—mathematics and physics. Even some of their empty words and quotes are revered by so-called “intellectuals” in our day. Yet nobody alive today has any other proof that such persons existed other than what was written and accomplished in their name.

If we apply the same logic to this first century Jew by the name of Jesus, we find out that even the evidence in support of his existence cannot be inadmissible. Nobody alive today has seen Jesus the same way nobody has seen any of those Greek philosophers, yet what Jesus said and did is recorded in yet another ancient record which came to be known as the “New Testament”.

The wisdom in Jesus’ teachings proved to be superior to all those other false wisdom in his day, particularly from those Greek philosophers. Because unlike they, Jesus actually taught people how to resolve issues and matters that could lead to bloodshed, to improve in their interpersonal relationships with others, to be at peace with even their enemies and how to gain real happiness and satisfaction—something that none of those Greek philosophers had the real solutions to.

Even extrabiblical writers like Josephus and Tertullian wrote in favour of this man called Jesus and his followers. Although the latter went in over his head a bit, the fact remains that as long as the theories of an ancient figure proves to be working and functional—like it does with the other Greek philosophers—then it also does mean that this man called Jesus also existed since his teachings are currently beneficial to a very large extent in the lives of millions today.

I don’t see anyone calling Plato, Archimede and Socrates gods. No one had said these guys died for everyone and if we don’t serve them, we go to hell. That’s a significant difference

As far as we know, there is no verifiable evidence that Jesus ever walked on earth.

Maybe I am wrong, can anyone provide us with evidence outside of the Christian texts that Jesus ever existed?
