That is an internal police issue, our role as citizens should include to respect the police unconditionally. Mrtaye: The issue is do some of the police respect themselves and act within the confines of the construction as well as the IG's orders |

True, you should not respond because if people start fight police every time then they may shoot them instead. A very sane society must have respect for their police otherwise what you get would be anarchy.
Now if the policeman is psychotic and is not intending to stop the slaps then it is reasonable to do what you can to protect yourself and even then fighting back should be the last resort. Getting away from the police office should be your first option. |

Stop deluding yourself, you think the same money Tinubu used to buy delegates that he won't double and triple it to buy INEC and thus the presidency? In fact if it were not for vote buying in the primaries Atiku and Tinubu would not have emerged as candidates . The Nigerian political system is broken and only a fresh brand new constitution can mend it. Polchiz: So thus marching for Obi is on social media too? Only rigging will make APC or PDP win. If INEC conducts a credible election, Obi is your next president. You may not like it but that is the reality today. |

NANS that is run by the elite whose children do not get their education disrupted? Tell me another story! NANS or not NANS let students block all private universities and see the ASUU strike end within 1 week.
If airports are blockaded it won't be because of the ASUU strike it would be for another hidden reason and it won't be NANS blockading yhe airports. |

Sure but he showed no energy to try and win the primary of his then party. ogbonti: those primaries were determined by delegates who are more greedy than the candidates - the tickets were for the highest bidders and obi does not have that kind of money to waste
and if he had won the god fathers of those parties will not let him work for the progress of the nation so he took the best shot, to leave those 2 evil parties to where Nigerians can have a voice - LABOR PARTY |

Protests . Two things sustaining the strike are lecturers ability to continue earning money by lecturing at private universities and the children of politicians and elites continuing to attend their classes in their private universities. Let students blockade all Nigeria's private universities so that the lecturers can not earn any income from them and the children of the elite start missing classes and getting their education disrupted. mamaafrik: How can this be achieved? |

The matter goes beyond partisan politics ASUU has been striking during the entire era of PDP governments. Letmehearword: Ironically they still form a good percentage of youths clamoring for an APC candidate to return to power after showing negligence and disdain to the plight of the Nigerian youth albeit student, even APC had brought Obi Nigerian youths should never have given them a look in, the Chinese revolution was led by students here we are in Nigeria where the so called students care less and praises the oppressors in appreciation of abandoning them. If they want to go back to school the strike won't last One week as Lekki will be a joke. As for some hmmm private University is a goal. |

The protests should be huge enough , dozens of students with placards would not be taken serious. Let the students blockade all the private universities enmasse , and once the children of the elite and politician starts getting their education disrupted, you would see this ASUU strike end within one week. IamAsiri: But you know what ended it? Our present government doesn't care about the lives of youths. More youths will just be wasted if they decide to stage any form of protest. Imagine a little peaceful placard protest that was staged by students at Osogbo had DSS rushing to the scene to disperse/arrest the poor students. I was walking by but I couldn't but just pause and shake my head at the state of things in Nigeria.
Students should protest at their own peril . |

Nigerian youths rarely protest but any time in history they ever did, government almost always caves in very quickly. Example EndSars resulted in FG scrapping SARS within days. IamAsiri: Really? How? You want them to get killed again? |
