Politics / Fellow Nigerians...... Look At The Positive Side by WorldChanger7: 12:02am On Jun 11, 2021
Dear Friend & Fellow Nigerian,

I believe regardless of the current situation or leadership, there seems to be great opportunities but our mind is clouded with so much negativity that we can't see through.

Before you start casting the stones, I live here in Nigeria (with my family) and feeling the pain of the reality but yet, I started asking myself where lies the opportunities since every situation create one!

To also add, I believe this country is so blessed that we are suppose to be feeding nations but the greed of our leaders has turned the country into beggar with most minds thinking the only way out is second plan or relocation (that same money for relocation can change your life here for good)

The question now is where are those opportunities for us to consider especially from the railway?

1. The railway (that is being launch today) has created alot of opportunities for all factors of production across the route to leverage the system to access markets

2. It create opportunities for logistics companies to build their value system across the established route of the train

3. The business potential of the rail system is not in the movement of the people but rather in the movement of goods and services. So, what are YOU producing for the demanding markets?

4. There are over 267 communities that the current rail pass through from Lagos to Ibadan with most of them as virgin for agricultural value chain

5. We may not have enough (as the reality is less than 1% of their campaign promises for change) but from what is available (less than 1%), what have you made good of it for yourself?

6. Have you wondered why construction companies in Nigeria are in their best moment of their lives? Ask anyone of them, they will tell you that this is only Govt (in the recent time) that have not denied them opportunities and fund

7. If anyone prophesied to you that Nigeria will disintegrated, it can never happen. There is so much bidding us together than to tear us apart - Take that from me for free! Where will Dangote and others put their investments across all parts of the country. Only a weak mind will believe such as start thinking of defeat

8. Despite all the challenges and continuous increase in price of commodities, have you heard of any markets that have closed down? What is problem for some people, it is an open doors of prosperity for others. Which side are you?

9. In my future post, I will be sharing the hidden secret of accessing government contracts in Nigeria which many thoughts is difficult but all you need are 7Cs

Let me stop here and please, don't think these views are meant to support the current government but rather for you and I to starting thinking through the challenges to see areas of opportunities

Oluwaseun Adesanya
I believe that Nigeria will still be Great and I will eat of the good of the land

Religion / No More Delay For YOU by WorldChanger7: 11:07am On Mar 21, 2021
No More Delay

Exodus 14:15 KJV
And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:

Are you experience delay in any form?
Are you discouraged that despite all the prayers, prophecies and precious seeds, you are still waiting for the turning of your water at the pool of Bethesda (John 5).
Are people describing you by your current situation?

Revelation about Delay
1. Every delay has a source (God, Devil and Yourself)

2. Delay is not permanent but periodic (because every product has an expiration date)

3. Only God can determinate every form of delay regardless of the source or period (Luke 1:37)

Through the mercy of God, He can put an end to every form of delay without seeking the approval of any man... It is called MERCY! (Rom.9:15)

Can we join our faith together today (2 Chro.7:14) and call unto God to terminate every form of delay in the lives every member of Nairaland today (Jer. 33:3)

And by the grace of God, before the dawning of the new day, all delays shall be over in Jesus name. Amen

Politics / Re: MC Oluomo Inspects Burnt Police Station In Oshodi by WorldChanger7: 7:40am On Oct 29, 2020
Do you notice is as if there is something wrong with his walking?

Check the way he was walking

lekanolas:
Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Lagos State, Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo on Wednesday visited the burnt Makinde Police station in Oshodi.

The station was among the 16 burnt police stations in the state in the wake of the violent protests that erupted last week in the state.

MC Oluomo was accused of sponsoring attacks on #EndSARS protesters in Alausa. He was accused alongside the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa.

He, however, denied sponsoring the attack against protesters.

He also denied collecting any money from anyone to sponsor thugs to the protests.

A day after the attack on the protesters, MC Oluwo sent water and drinks to the protesters in order to redeemed his image. The drinks were branded in his name.

The protesters, however, rejected them, throwing the bottles at the white van that conveyed them.

The impact of the last 48hours and the two weeks protest is dawning on everyone as many are counting their loses which has created more unemployment......

The list of many institutions affected through looting, vandalization and burning across both the public and private institutions are beyond imagination. Just imagine what will be next phase for the employee of all these organisations

1. Lekki Shoprite
2. Surulere Shoprite
3. Various shops at Admiralty road, Lekki
4. Various shops at Surulere
5. Various shops at Ikeja
6. Oriental Hotel
7. TVC (even if it belong to the Elephant but people are feeding their families from there)
8. BRT Buses (over 150 Buses means over 300 jobs)
9. Recreational Center, Oregun
10. All LASMA and VIO offices across the state
11. Lekki Toll Gate
12. Branches of many banks
13. Warehouses and shops
14. .....unaccounted loses

While most owners can reclaim their loses from insurance, what is the fate of the employees of those institutions?

Nairaland / General / Vandalization Of The Palace: A Complete Disgrace To The Yoruba Race by WorldChanger7: 7:52pm On Oct 22, 2020
The vandalization of the palace of Oba of Lagos and the display of the staff of office in the market place has been termed as ridicule and disgrace to the entire Yoruba race by some indigene of the state stating that a sacred place and custodian of the Yoruba heritage has been turned into a laughing stock.

While the call for a complete change of attitude and approach of leaders is necessary, some said that the extend that an heritage of a Yoruba race will now be turned into a laughing stock is a shame to the entire Yoruba race.

Can this be correct?

Politics / Governor Godwin Obaseki's PDP Ticket: A Big Shame To The Entire PDP by WorldChanger7: 10:01am On Jun 30, 2020
Before you cast the stone, consider the following:

1. PDP was the only strong opposition despite the defeat at the general election

2. Even in the face of the defeat, many still believe in the party and stayed despite the insult and allegations (Kudo to those who refuse to keep quite)

3. With the way APC has been handling the affairs of the country, many seems to sympathize with PDP (at least, we missed Mama Peace)

4. Just because Godwin Obaseki did not secure the support of APC, he believes that PDP can be bought (despite Gov. Wike's stand)

5. Securing the PDP ticket was a piece of cake and every other candidates that have stayed all these years were taken for a fool

6. The simple meaning is that PDP never had an intention of winning the Governorship, so they easily bought the idea and suspended all protocols including the labour of their supporters who believed even when they were termed opposition

7. I want to believe there were several trade off but this simply show that PDP has lost its principles and can only survive by getting the bad eggs of APC

The dice is cast and it is only in a matter of days ahead..........

You can now cast your stone

Politics / Edo State Governorship Election 2020 - Possible Ouctomes For Gov. Godwin Obaseki by WorldChanger7: 9:05pm On Jun 24, 2020
The coming governorship election in Edo State can only have three possible outcomes for the current Governor, Godwin Obaseki

1. Godwin Obaseki secure the PDP Governorship ticket and win the election to remain in PDP (which ofcourse mean, all other existing members of PDP does not have what it takes to win election, so they need people to decamp from APC).........this will ridicule the entire PDP but they will claim the state and another political structure will emerge

2. Godwin Obaseki secure the PDP Governorship ticket and win the election but decamp back to APC thereafter.........this is to ridicule the Godfather that he is now a stronghold in Edo state and ofcourse, rubbish PDP (but no bii today, plenty people used another party to secure election and only decamp for other gains)

3. Godwin Obaseki lose the PDP Governorship ticket and try all possible best to get another party ticket........this is a desperate situation and worst case scenario but it gives both APC and PDP a pride that the party is greater than any individual and cannot be manipulated

Regardless of the outcome, he should be ready to fight his Godfather till the end of his life as there will never be peace as a result of the bad blood between them.

Which of the outcomes do you think will be possible?

Religion / Post COVID-19: Advice To Churches & Their Leaders by WorldChanger7: 8:50am On May 20, 2020
Post COVID-19 Advice to Churches & their Leaders cool
(A must read for every church leader and Christian)

It is definitely longer news that the recent pandemic has affected the church and the impact is such that it will take a longer time for the church to recover.

Of course, the fear of unknown even with the increasing numbers of cases and deaths will create a lot of doubt in the mind of members and many will prefer doing online services at the comfort of their homes.

Thus, the numbers of membership, worshipers and even cashflow will be affected and yet the church still have to sustain the maintenance of her huge and magnificent buildings that are mostly and currently on loans!

What then should the leadership of the church do?

1. Accept the reality without deceiving ourselves (even the great Prophet Elijah accepted the fact that the Brook Cherith dried up)

2. This is the best time to show that the church cares beyond the concerns of offerings and titles (Even our Lord Jesus demonstrate the importance of feeding (food) the same congregation after preaching the word)

3. Adopt and make the best use of electronic channels to make impacts upon people (if the world can use Internet to their advantage, have you thought of what the WORD's impact will be through the same channel)

4. With lost of jobs on the increase, people want to hear teachings that will inspires and empower them in order for them not to end up begging to eat (this is the best time to teach and faciliate opportunities for members)

5. Leadership of churches should stop all the fighting, envy and hatred but rather United for the gospel...(we are actually the enemy of ourselves not even the devil)

6. This is the best time for discipleship not building of the churches (who the church building help?.... abeg build people)

7. Every man's goal should be the pursuit of making Heaven through Holiness and Dedication to God (Covid-19 taught us a great lessons that even money and power can fail)

These are just deep thoughts coming to mind and they are my views.....you can share yours too!

2. Agberos - Closely related to the above are agberos that collect money at every bus stop and junctions

3. Betting Agencies - These group loss of revenue is due to sporting lockdown world wide. Also because of no work, most people can't patronise them

4. Canteen Food Sellers - Most offices are closed, no customers; Ghana High is a good example

5. Eatries - Just like number 4 above, patronage is low.

6. Mechanics - Many people only warm their cars/vehicles without driving out

7. People selling in the traffic - Gala and drink sellers are feeling it.

8. Police /LASTMA/ Traffic Warden - No bus to catch

9. Cinema Houses - People can not gather to watch films

10. Add your own.
Business / Covid-19 Pandemic: Top Business Gainers And Losers by WorldChanger7: 6:50pm On Apr 13, 2020
Covid-19 Pandemic: Top Business Gainers and Losers

In early 2015, one of the most adorable personalities in the world, Bill Gates held a session on TED about “The Next Outbreak? We’re not ready”. This was immediately after the world survived the outbreak of Ebola. He explained how we reacted to the epidemic with detailed statistics but also stated that despite our efforts the world was far from being ready for another epidemic or a pandemic!
Fast forward to the year 2020: COVID-19 has become a flame without a fire that has engulfed the entire world and brought us all to a standstill, with “compulsory holidays” being declared in most countries and no logical end in sight to the pandemic! If Bill Gates was a religious leader, the entire world would have become his congregation by now and of course, with plenty prophet offerings!
According to Wikipedia, coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The disease was first identified in December 2019 in Wuhan, the capital of China's Hubei province, and has since spread globally with common symptoms including fever, cough and shortness of breath. Other symptoms may include fatigue, muscle pain, diarrhea, sore throat, loss of smell and abdominal pain. The time from exposure to the manifestation of symptoms is typically around five days, but may range from two to fourteen days. As of 10 April 2020, more than 1.6 million cases had been reported in more than 200 countries and territories, resulting in more than 100,000 deaths!
The virus is mainly spread between people during close contact, often via small droplets produced during coughing, sneezing, or talking. While these droplets are produced when breathing out, they usually fall to the ground or surfaces rather than being infectious over large distances. People may also become infected by touching a contaminated surface and then their face. The virus can survive on surfaces for up to 72 hours. Coronavirus is most contagious during the first three days after onset of symptoms, although spread may be possible before symptoms appear and in later stages of the disease.

The Effect of COVID-19 Pandemic on Business Environment
The emergence of the mighty COVID-19 has definitely altered lifestyle on a global scale. The business environment has now become more challenged especially as no one knows how long the pandemic would last. But even in the current challenging reality, further opportunities have been created for some industries that now are enjoying tremendous cashflow despite the suffering of the world.
Imagine what the current situation would have been without access to information communication technology. Imagine what it would have been without online platforms for e-commerce, trainings and financial services.
Definitely, the financial industry has helped tremendously to stabilise the economy from collapsing through their various payment channels such as Internet Banking, Point of Sales (PoS) Terminals, Automatic Teller Machine (ATM), Mobile Banking Application and USSD. This management of the demand and supply flow is steadying various economies of the world and preventing another global economic recession.
In complementing the efforts of the financial industry, fintech companies are deploying innovative solutions for greater convenience in the performance of electronic payment transactions. Of late, one of such innovation is Paylink, a payment solution for anyone to receive money INSTANTLY into their bank account from anyone, anywhere, anytime! This particular payment solution has become the delight of SMEs, crowd funder, social entrepreneurs, religious organisations, individuals and others at this time of restricted movements and social distancing.

The Biggest Business Losers
For industries that the pandemic negatively affected, the list is almost unending. But to kick-start discussions, here are the possible top losers:
1. Aviation
This industry is one of the most capital intensive in the world and its operational cost is not a joke! The nature of the business involves continuous maintenance, high taxation, increasing operational and administrative costs which are the reason most airline operators utilise debt financing or are currently in huge debt with only bailout or liquidation as options. The outbreak of COVID-19 has complicated the struggling cashflow (revenue) of the airlines with several operators finding it difficult to survive!

2. Small & Medium Enterprises
SMEs have been the backbone of many economies as their activities have created employment opportunities and facilitated daily livelihood of many. However, with the lockdown, most SMEs have struggled to adjust as closure of business premises and markets has reduced patronage and sales. Although once business operations resume, it might be a slow start for them, but their recovery will definitely be short term.

3. Religious Organisations
Their major sources of income are donations and contributions of members and followers in terms of voluntary and mandatory giving through their various beliefs and principles. Many of such leaders have become richer than organisations in the real business world!
Definitely, they were shocked that such an outbreak could turn their worship centres into ghost sites with many of them now embracing and adopting technology to reach to their members. As their members are also affected financially, the impact would reach the religious organisation. However, their recovery could be medium term as they would need time to convince their members to continue in belief and obedience of the doctrinal principles of giving!

4. Entertainment
They were one of major cash cows before the COVID-19 with several shows, albums and events for brand visibility and definitely more money. The industry has produced more celebrities and overnight millionaires with little or no knowledge of wealth or fame management!
The belief is that all you need is just to have a talent and the world would be at your feet. But the reality is that the industry is a Red Ocean with several people struggling for the same audience. At the moment, it is even difficult because the lockdown and social distancing measures have put shows and events on hold.
Regardless, the industry would still continue to survive through innovation that can create a new path to Blue Ocean within the medium term but definitely not in the short term!

5. Transportation & their Unions
It was necessary to specifically separate this from Aviation Industry and combine it with unions especially if you are from this part of the world where National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) is a major stakeholder in the affairs of the state. Outsiders think its members are illiterates but majority of its leaders have their family abroad and their children schooling overseas. Yet, we think they are not that smart but they milk money through extortion and harassment of motorists.
However, since governments across several states have ordered a lockdown to limit the spread of the pandemic, it has been very challenging for the transport operators and their unruly unions to eke a living. But once this period phases out, their business would resume as usual and their recovery will definitely be a short term!

Top Business Gainers and Next Emerging Opportunities!
While some will definitely find it hard to recover immediately after normalcy returns, a few will reach huge opportunities as the “Next Cashcow Industries” They include:
1. Food & Beverages
The demand in consumption will be increasing as people would put survival as a priority – and access to market will increase demand for food items.

2. Communication
There will be a change in culture and attitude in some areas such as work pattern, education, commerce and access to information, with more preference for online channels which in return would increase demand for data.

3. Lending
With many current loans going bad due to collapsed businesses and loss of jobs, the lending business would be receiving huge patronage by people looking to start all over again.

4. Logistics and Distribution
Commerce and demand for commodities across locations as a result of the impact of current situation and fear of the unknown would create an increasing need for logistics and distribution of commodities.

5. Lottery
People will be desperate for quicker ways of making money and lottery would give hope even when such people might end worse off.

So, while we can’t change the reality of the challenges that would arise from the COVID-19 pandemic, we can at least apply wisdom to prepare towards joining the “Cashcows” when the season changes for good!
The next season is just around the corner! Are you Ready?

Nairaland / General / A Valentine Vacuum In Bayelsa State by WorldChanger7: 9:36am On Feb 14, 2020
A Valentine Vacuum in Bayelsa State

Just as drums were being rolled out and rehearsal were being had of what should be a reality on a fateful Valentine’s Day, suddenly thunder struck and threw everyone into a state of commotion!

Can this be real? Or is it similar to what happened in Imo State? How can the candidate with the majority vote become the loser? Why wait till the eve of inauguration? Definitely, the gods must be blamed! But who are these gods?

David Lyon, as the governor-elect of Bayelsa State, was sacked by Nigeria’s apex court on the eve of his inauguration and assumption of office on the grounds that his deputy, Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo, presented a false certificate to the electoral body, INEC, in the build-up to the election.

Thus, the coast is clear for Douye Diri of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who had the second-highest number of votes and secured 25 per cent of votes in five of Bayelsa’s eight local governments to be declared the winner of the November 16 election. Guess you would say, wonders shall never cease in Nigeria!

The last 12hours of Nigeria’s political scene has been tough and interesting – and would be remembered and serve as a reference point for decades. The expectation of several people was dashed by the Supreme Court judgment in favour of the opposition.

However, what is most confusing is that the APC believed that the candidate of the PDP did not secure 25 per cent of votes as required by law. Thus, they are calling for a vacuum in the leadership of the state.

Will there be a Valentine Vacuum in Bayelsa State or this is the opportunity to the Speaker of the State House Assembly to step in as “Acting Governor”? But even the State House Assembly has been experiencing Vacuum of Speaker since late last year!

This matter tire for my Matthias! shocked

Dear House,

I have over the last few month monitor all discussions on this platform with hope that the good news will start to be celebrated (even though we are still waiting).

However, I will have thought of many scenarios of how this might end and here are my thoughts:

1. The entire process cancelled by the management without any apology because it is their cost not ours (moreso since they have paid for our tfare)

2. Everything goes into silent mute with no indication but recruitment concluded even the selected resuming work without anybody knowing

3. Public declaration by the Institution of the entire process with the names of selected published for verification

Regardless of how it ends, i believe we have an option too! The option is no keep waiting or take ones life into your hands and make the very best of it. Meaning if it comes, it comes and if not, am better with my life!

There are many opportunities in this country and i believe we can use the same strength to identify such and take advantage of it.

All the best fellas!

Politics / Re: List Of States That Can Survive Without Federal Allocation By BudgIT by WorldChanger7: 10:25am On Oct 24, 2019
Honestly, while the current reality shows that but the truth is every state in Nigeria has what it takes to survive without federal allocations!

The informal sectors are the engine room of every state and they are very active with huge cashflow being circulated in the hands of politicians!

The question you need to ask is since the cry of the current bad economy situation in Nigeria, have you heard of any market that got closed? (Think about it and who is collecting those government revenue from those markets)

Nairaland / General / Xenophobia In South Africa: The Untold Truth by WorldChanger7: 6:53pm On Sep 03, 2019
It is very surprising that the recent situation that calls for national attention is not taken that serious by the governments of both countries!

Here are untold truth that you need to consider:

1. Xenophobia is not new and in the past, nothing was done by any government to stop it. They just swept them under the carpet even upon thousands of lives that were wasted

2. Nigeria Government calling the High Commissioner to come and make a statement that nothing of such is happening in South Africa upon all the various videos and comments is definitely waste of time.

3. Destroying companies from South Africa in Nigeria is completely digging in the hole because none of South Africa businesses in Nigeria has any asset volunarable to the people of South Africa. All they have in Nigeria is a simple "franchise".....it is Nigerian that owns all those businesses and it is Nigerians working there

4. Fundamentally, have you heard or seen any country in world that can boost of having South African community? None exist....they don't have the liver or courage to stay outside their country.

5. Angry Nigerians in Nigeria should not waste their efforts in destroying those businesses you claimed are from South Africa. Doing so, only create more unemployment for your people

6. While we expect a quick action from the Nigerian Government to either secure safety of Nigerians in South Africa or best, facilitating their return (even though I doubt if some will even want to return).

7. Let Nigerians that have South African as Bosses in Nigeria plead with them to come out and condemn the evil act of Xenophobia by telling their people in South Africa that their lives can be at treat if all this stupid behaviour does not stop quickly

8. This xenophobia is indeed a reflection of South Africa government's failure of empowering their citizens and creating opportunity for them all....best, taxed the foreigners and give welfare salaries for your citizen (even if they refuse to work.....)

9. This situation has showed that even while we internally disagree with all our differences and enthic crisis, we are still United as a Nation!

10. Nigeria is United to against anything that create treats to our national interest.......Nigeria, we hail thee!
Nairaland / General / The Best Insurance Company in Nigeria by WorldChanger7: 8:27am On Mar 15, 2019
Let’s get facts right!
The title of this article must have piqued your interest and probably left you wondering if there really is any that can be termed “The Best Insurance Company in Nigeria”.

Definitely, the curiosity is stronger considering the following statistics:
• 198million people (estimated population)
• 90.5milllion employable population
• 23% Unemployment rate (i.e. 21million)
• 69.5million Employed population (formal and informal sectors)

And on the insurance side, the statistics of the stakeholders and their pursuit increase the curiosity level:
• 14 Life Insurance Companies
• 28 General Insurance Companies
• 13 Composite Insurance Companies
• 2 Takaful Insurance Companies
• 2 Reinsurance Companies
• 0.5% Penetration Rate (with the promise by NAICOM that 40% is achievable by 2020)
You must be speechless looking at the projected penetration rate seeing that 2020 is just around the corner!

The arithmetic of the market potential
So, how can a country blessed with huge numbers still suffer such a low penetration rate? An analysis of the performance of the industry shows that the total industry gross premium was around N327B in 2016 and probably will be within the range of N350B for 2018, which makes the sector one of the lowest contributors to Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

The current reality has indeed undermined the growth projection envisaged by the industry players especially the regulator and this has posed a big challenge to the possibility of the sector becoming a significant economy player within the next few years.

However, the numbers (from the population) shows more potential that are probably undiscovered and untapped. For instance, let’s use life insurance as hypothesis by assuming an average monthly insurance premium at N2,000 with the total employable population of 69.5million discounted by 50%. There will be an estimated N834billion annual life premium only (which will definitely increase penetration rate to around 18%!)

The truth is that such estimated annual life premium can be made available for investment within the economy which will stimulate economic activities towards increase in socio-economic growth of Nigeria.

Why is it difficult to achieve such potential?
The difficulty lies in some vital areas that have bundled to become an hinderance to industry growth and the business of insurance in Nigeria. They include:

Perception: The cultural background and past experiences with insurance business have created a biased perspective about the insurance business generally in Nigeria. As a common language from practitioners, it is said that “it is only in Nigeria that insurance is sold, not bought” meaning people don’t see reason why they need to buy insurance. So, all stakeholders must join hands together in restoring the “trust” that will end up changing the general public perception.

Awareness: Imagine the rate of collapsed buildings, accidents, fire incidents, thefts and low life span in Nigeria, yet people are still ignorant about the role of insurance in mitigating these risks. Thus, the awareness needs to be holistic with the involvement of all stakeholders including the regulators and Government.

On-boarding: Have you seen an insurance form before? You wonder if they are actually asking you to sign your death warrant! This was the same experience with the banking industry until recent where even with a phone number, you can open and operate a bank account. Making it easy, convenient and fast can encourage people to patronize insurance services for protection from possible risks.

Distribution Channels: The effectiveness of efficient, flexible and multiple channel of distribution goes a long way in increasing access to insurance products. There are various silos of distribution channels that their synergy can create an aggregated platform for Nigeria to buy insurance policies. Heard how in 2018, #Alipay sold 1.1 billion insurance policies in one day leveraging its over 500 million users and it's payment solution.

Agent Management: The agency arrangement has helped in tremendous ways especially with the informal sector. This needs to be enhanced through appropriate compensating model with adequate resources (which include technology) to increase penetration rate for possible increase in patronage and sales!

Regulations & Compliance: What are the laws in place for industry players that default in their obligations to their clients (i.e. insured)? Has there been an example of any industry player punished over the years or recent? What happens when claims are outstanding for a long time? Guess, there is a lot the general public expect from regulators in order change their current perception about the industry!

Innovation: The industry players need to be creative in their approach and services. There is need to move further from conventional to tailored-made products and services that can meet the current need of the general public! Everyone is selling the same products, in the same way and at the same cost!

Who wears the crown?
To answer the above question, the crown is available but only those who are ready to take the bull by the horn and dive into the blue ocean can definitely claim the crown.

With the glaring potential of the market, if I had the required capital and the right team, I will definitely not be announcing this vacant post but rather be singing the praise while wearing the crown because “one who wears the crown, bears the crown”!

Business / Re: Laundry Business Start Up. by WorldChanger7: 11:03am On Jan 08, 2019
Started A Professional Laundry & Dry Cleaning Business With Less Than N300K...
https://www.nairaland.com/4649274/started-professional-laundry-dry-cleaning

Numbers are the language of the Business

There are many reports you will read about Nigeria and this has led to many youths runing away from this country in the name of looking for greener pasture but regardless, there is a huge business opportunity that can make you a millionaire - "as far as you can see with strong belief and determination, you can bring not just water but gold out of the rock"!

I spoke at several conferences and workshops on different opportunities in Nigeria, but all were theories without any evidence until May 29, 2016. After speaking to a group of youth with loud accolades. As I was about leaving the stage, then something said to me, "So what business do you have?".

Opportunities are disguise with challenges and only the wise can see it!

It was like a blow and I said to myself that before the end of the year, I will have something (a business that I have stated) to share with my audience! Guess what? At that time I was at the mercy of my laundry guy and even my neighbors were also having a similar experience! That was when it hit me that this challenge can be turned into an opportunity. Yes, great opportunity!

Here is our report card for 2years!

- Turnover of over N5.6m
- Over 157 Customers and 5 Corporate Organisations
- 6 Staff with an average monthly income of N30k (excluding commissions & bonus)
- 3 Collections centers (that has empowered 2women with N30K monthly)
- Most Affordable with Free Pick Up and Delivery anyway in Lagos
- The business started with less than N300k
- Guess what? We don't even have a shop! Yes. We use available space around us (which has saved us the cost of rent)
- Check us out www.classicprolaundry.com

I will be glad to share more experience for those who are interested in starting something small and needs encouragement....The honest truth is that there are opportunities in this country!
