ProfessorBola: What is not good about people who report this stories sometimes are the grossly exaggerated claims i.e "Nigeria is becoming like Yemen" That is a statement of pure childishness and ignorance on the part of the poster via twitter. Does he even know what is going on in Yemen in terms's of the conflict which is happening there? Please, which country can you compare it to? Is Equatorial Guinea okay? That's one banana republic where there is no free speech and respect for human rights or the courts. Are you satisfied now? |

Sowore that made his name ad fame slandering and blackmailing others ?
You are an irredeemable dunce not to know that Sowore was arrested and detained at Bode Thomas police station for raping a unilag student colleague . When you blackmail you ask for something. What has any of the persons Sowore "blackmailed" come out to say he requested for? How much? How many houses? |

ODB2: Sowore has a pending rape case on his head.
He was arrested for raping a co-UNILAG student but he jumped bail . Lol Awon enemies. You people will just be pulling out allegations from wherever just to tie this man down. But here is what you don't get, Sowore wanted to be arrested. He did not like the way the last election went where it was evident most people did not know him. This man was trying to sell himself as the defender of the common man, an activist who had years of experience standing up to oppressive governments, but the problem was that a lot of people did not know about his past. Some even thought that the times were different or he was living on past glory. So he decided to do a revolution protest which was poorly planned and really would not have had much effect. But what he was trying to achieve was to be arrested and held illegally just the way Buhari normally does. It was a script that was clear to me from the beginning and it is working. If you ask most people now, they know him. The longer they hold him, the bigger he becomes. We have seen it all too often. Nnamdi Kanu comes to mind. The moment they set him free, he will pick up right back where he left off, doing and saying things that are provocative to be rearrested, harassed or intimidated, any ill treatment will do, a persecuted man always looks like a good man - a saint. So wake up and read the plot and stop acting as if you are brain dead like Buhari. |

OruExpress: and once he became successful, he used his success to promote and hoist Buhari, a brutal military dictator, onto the people because 'his brother' would be vice president. He spend countless days attacking the enemies of Buhari, and stoking anti-Igbo sentiments with articles and insults. He even dedicated his last months of freedom to trying to demean Nnamdi Kanu who is fighting the same cause as him. And when he went to prison, the only person that supported him was this same Nnamdi Kanu.
He's on record saying Goodluck Jonathan is 'the worst Nigerian president ever' while knowing it's not true. If not for the unprecedented level of professionalism, transparency, and press freedom under Jonathan, he would still be a nobody because nobody benefited more from it than Sahara Reporters and Sowore.
It was sad to see Sahara Reports become an agency for protecting and promoting the destruction, ethnic witch hunting and oppression of Nigerian people because of ethnic sentiment. All of the current attempts to sanctify him only make me remember his efforts to sanctify Buhari. You are the one being blinded by ethnic sentiment. Do you even know where he is from? |

Jaqenhghar: Most Niggerians are like donkeys. They only understand the language of pain. The mistake Sowore made was wanting to fight for people who dont want to fight. When Mandela was locked up, did the struggle stop? Truth is whe the people want to fight it wont be Sowore who will ask them to. They will be the ones who will prepare the ground for him. His loss at the election should have told him the kind of people he was dealing with. What he is doing is the biblical casting his pearls at swine. As the bible says they dont know the use of such see how they turned against him . I personally am very happy that Buhari locked him up. He has never gotten the attention he needs. This arrest by the DSS is giving him that spotlight and people are researching him. As long as he does not die, it's still a win for the struggle. |

wirinet: How will be taken Nigeria back,? Does he want to be declared president without winning elections?
Are there restrictions that prevents young people from leading us? We have young legislators and some in executive positions, how have they been leading us? Senator abbo is the youngest Senator in the Senate, how has he been leading us? Do you expect Nigeria just hand over leadership positions to younger people, without them working for it?
Feed undergraduates of over 500,000 students? If we add polytechnics and colleges of education, the number of tertiary students would be over a million. Now where will the government get the money to feed a million students, daily. Sowore and supporters are still living in the 70s when the number of students in tertiary institutions were less than 20,000. What of primary school and secondary school students, should they not be fed also?
Nigeria is estimated to produce close to 500,000 graduates every year - https://www.google.com/amp/s/qz.com/africa/603967/about-half-of-the-university-graduates-in-nigeria-cannot-find-jobs/amp/ Now how and where will government hire all these graduates? The problem is our educational curriculum that promotes the seeking of jobs instead of the creation of jobs.
This is determined by economic dynamics - exports and imports.
Once again how? Does AAC want to take over the government through a coup? A revolution can come in many ways. People may die or not. It just means a complete overhaul of the system. |
