Btw, what happened to the other girl from the Big Brother thread? I can't remember her name now, but she used to tag with Safari on arguments. We used to fight a lot but ended up being quite chummy in the end. I liked her. I wonder if she's still around. Is she from SA also? |

XhosaNostra: Lol, remember you had your profile picture up before, so I still have idea what you look like. You're dark with a chiskop/fade You also have big or round eyes. You're quite attractive I actually have been told I have small eyes. Except you are used to men with much smaller eyes in SA. You remember someone else, I think. The only time I ever associated myself with attractiveness was when I saw my FaceApp female version. The app performs wonders. That girl was fine! I felt like a proud father. |

safarigirl: I would not do anything to get ahead, I have a conscience that stops me from doing a lot of things, and I am actually scared of doing a lot of things. I can never tell you how much the fear of what people will say or how I will be viewed has stopped me from doing a lot of things. I have an idiotic moral compass for myself that has hindered me greatly in various aspects of my life.
However, when I see someone who doesn't give a shiit, I genuinely envy and respect them, because they are living a life I don't have the guts to live.
I wouldn't do it, but I respect anyone with the guts to do things like that. My moral compass for myself is deeper than most of you questioning and castigating me, I don't even know how to tell lies or cheat people, but I bet most people yapping about morality tell lies everyday and justify all types of immoralities they commit every day.
Like I said, it is not about someone doing something evil or immoral, a lot of you don't support it because it is not your brand. Like someone who drinks alcoholic wine berating someone who drinks beer. You see why I wan take you to London I wan take you to Tokyo I want take you to China I go tell them say na your be the one gan ni I go take you to Telma I don dey toast you for five million years now but you say you like Big Brother pass flexing. |

XhosaNostra: @bolded, because it's majorly adapted from or based on their language & region. "Simba" is a Swahili name for instance. They deserve recognition imo. It's unfortunate that they were snubbed. Again. Is not the sorry itself recognition enough? You make a movie about the wild and you choose Kenyan names for the animals. This is entitlement mentality that is not attractive. |

adanny01: Dont mind those young girls who think it is the amount of money one keeps or makes in a month that makes one a man.
A man is simply that person who sees responsibility and takes it, it is not how much he makes.
I have 3 children too, non of them finished 1 tin of cerelac (we tried for each one for sake of our conscience). Only the 1st one had SMA Gold when the mother didnt have enough breast milk at 1st. My older children like Beverages eg Milo, Bornvita, Ovaltine, Horlicks and cereals like cornflakes, oats, golden morn and most of the Kellogg's range.
Those who say formula are unaware that it is a subtitute for breast milk in cases where the mother doesn't produce enough, died during child birth or for whatever reason doesn't want to breast feed.
People now see it as a status statement to feed their infants formulas while breast milk is the real deal. Children older than 6months have other requirements which even local women know how to produce with the right ingredients. Women are generally all about status. A responsible man uses his head. The big problem in this issue is not how the child will be clothed, fed and educated. It is if the father has people who will help take care of that child when he is away at work. |

SirVintageCock: Very funny joker you are. She should contribute 10k with all the nanny work and babysitting and childrearing stuffs attached (also working fulltime to make the said money) while the poor ratass sperm donor will contributes 15k without adding any other child chores and at the same time frolicking with different pussies daily. We are talking about a two year old kid here, my brother. They have long stopped breastfeeding him or her. They can walk and even communicate to some extent. The father is evidently not afraid of all the "nanny work and babysitting and childrearing stuffs attached" that's why he is asking for custody. It appears as if we think men just dropped from heaven without parents and siblings who can support them in babysitting when they can't do so. And the lady herself has not received any help from people in taking care of this child up till this point. It's great the lady is not an evening newspaper, but does the man have to become childless? It appears you are the one who is not happy about the man's happiness. Does he have to suffer for the lady to enjoy her own success? You sound like this is about the lady taking a pound of flesh. Remember the issue here is not her marrying someone else but another man assuming legal ownership rights over his child without his consent, while he is still alive. |

confun: best response so far. Op, even if the court gives d child to u ( which is almost impossible), shey na 15 k u go dey use to take care of a 2 yr old child? very unfair to d child. if u want a chobby, intelligent, smart, sharp and neat kid who can compete with his mates, abeg 15k no fit do anything, except u want him to start begging from his friends. a below average creche in my area is abt 15k per month, food nko, shoes nko, cloth nko, oga just increase your huzzle and pray make God bless d huzzle before you release another sperm next time. just wondering.... if u send 15k to d child, wat would u send to d mum? u think say to born pikin na beans, a friend of mine who loved kids planned to get a nice bus after marriage so as to always carry his 'many' children, after 1 child, my guy told me say e be like say hin go stop child bearing.... I laff sootey... If he is not in a relationship with the mum he does not have to send her anything. The child is also the lady's so she should also make her own contribution. If she brings 10k, that money will be 25k. There are lots of single mothers who take care of their kids by themselves. Why are you reasoning as if the lady is an invalid? Many people who earn minimum wage have children. It is through the participation of both parents that they raise their children. Things will definitely improve as he hustles more. Children don't have to be sold off just because people become poor. If the rich polygamist hadn't come into the picture would she have turned to prostitution to take care of her child. The guy made a huge mistake having a child with the lady, money or no money. She is not the kind of woman you have kids with. |

wirinet: This your "poverty" mentality is what put us in the mess we find ourselves today. So you elevate material acquisition above love and life itself. No wonder Nigerians are making a mess of themselves around the world with make money anyhow mentality. Most successful men you see right now started out with their wives poor. Abiola told us stories of how he was a stay at home dad taking care of Kola, while Simbiat was the one working. It was same Simbiat that paid Abiola's fees through school that enable him to be a successful accountant. Even I, pass through a very difficult time at the time I had my first child, as my business crashed. My wife had to do business, while I took care of my son. It took me over 3 years before I got on my feet again. So according to you once a man hit a difficult period, his girlfriend or wife should abandon ship. Leave that guy. He needs help. His reasoning has been warped by his society. The OP of course made a mistake having a child before he was financially ready. But the real mistake he made is deciding to have a child with a woman who is not compatible with him. Someone who thinks like this guy who is giving harmful advice. |

The country is being destroyed while he is smiling to the bank. And Nairaland will not die because of tribalism. That's what keeps the forum alive. Esseite: Have you ever heard of an American thug in its media space? Have you ever heard of a British thug in its media space?
Not like they dont have it in good numbers, but they dont elevate thuggery or give it room to grow beyond its confinement.
This would corrupt the minds of the easily swayed, undunted almajiri's and even graduates. Its extremely difficult to correct in a nation plagued with unemployment... this was how yahoo yahoo gained prominence, today it is now a career.
#dontelevatethuggery The little problem with your writeup is that you as many uninformed Nigerians forget that the ones among these Agberos who are celebrated are their Union executives. They may be uneducated but they are unionists still. They represent the interest of a certain type of workers. The heads of unions worldwide are powerful and are known in the media. You may not like the violence they sometimes employ to achieve their aims, but isn't that how Nigeria works? Don't your politicians too employ violence in achieving their aims? Have you banished them from television for it? How about your National Union of Nigerian students (NANS) who are supposes to be enlightened? How does that body operate? Is it not filled with cultists and killers. When they have their elections, are they not usually a bloody affair? Does that stop them from being on TV and hobnobbing with politicians and important people in our society? So basically what you are saying is that people of high social class can enjoy media coverage despite the evil they commit but those of lower class who commit the same atrocities should pay for their own evil by being denied such coverage. I think that thinking is elitist. This is how the masses ensures that their oppressors continue to oppress them. |
Health › Re: Pls Help... by WORLDPEACE(m): 3:44pm On Mar 19, 2019 |
Poshriel: it all started early january after i returned from the xmas break. i became down with severe runny stomach and heavy grumbling of my tummy. at first i thought it was a mere stomach upset. i took flagil ( more than 3cards) to no avail. later i started taking tetracyclin still no improvement. this continued until mid february. then i suspeted it could be an ulcer. so i started using mist mag and omiprazole. at this point the runny tommy/watery stool stopped. and for the first time in two and a half months i stated having solid poo. rescently the grumbling tummy started again this time more severe and gets worse when i go hungry or take anything alcohol or minerals. i am always stretching, dry throat bloated tummy and most times passing out gas as my tummy feels like a gas tank. i went for a scan and the man said nothing was seen as the intestinal walls were fine and all. last night was catastrophic i couldnt sleep. when i eat little it feels like i have eaten the whole world.
pls i need help as to possible home remedy or over the counter drugs and what the diagnosis could possibly be. I have been experiencing the same symtomps as you. It started with stooling last Thursday. On Friday morning I took flagyl. By afternoon I was experiencing same dry throat and some coughing. I suspected it might be typhoid. I bought typhoid drug on saturday. On Sunday I had switched to ciprotab, another typhoid drug still without changes in the stooling, dry throat and coughing. Monday I went to the general hospital and saw a doctor and explained all the symptoms I was experiencing. She asked that I go do a HIV test. I came back in like fifteen minutes with the result which was negative. She asked me to do further tests. One was for tuberculosis. They took my blood to do that. The other was to check my stool. So they are with both samples. I am suppose to go back for the result on Thursday. In the mean time I have taken some of the drugs she prescribed. Flagyl three times daily since yesterday and Loperamide Hydrochloride which I took two capsules of. I am supposed to take one tablet after every watery stool. However, since yesterday I have not been to the toilet again. I will wait till Thursday to go get my test results. I advise that you go to a general hospital, not a private one. A lot of those private guys don't have the experience of people in general hospitals. And they are not after your money. Good luck and good health to us. |

safarigirl: Such an overly edited picture. Each woman om that cover looks like someone from a war ravaged country
This is the issue many modeks have with these high end magazines, especially the black models. They need them to look darker, look how they darkened Adesua with their nonsense editing. They want to keep the world thinking Africa has no diversity, because only the white woman should be seen as fair skinned, while the entire sub-saharan Africa must be dark.
This is how white people confuse the black race, dem come put the white, blond-haired woman for front as a symbol of what feminine beauty should be and sent the black woman to the back, making sure to edit her skin to be dark enough and dull enough to not outshine their caucasian queen.
White supremacy at its finest Is it possible they arranged these people according to how big or famous they are in the west? I think that is how dark Adesua would look next to Caucasians. She might be like Oyibo to us but she is still a black woman. And she is still looks exotic to me here. The others kinda look the same. |
