What is your favourite track?

From Man of The Year, to The Never Say Never Guy, and now Mr. Love, Skales has been on a steady progressive music career.

He has been doing his bid as an artiste. He is on to make music, in good or bad. He has been sturdy in his work.

Like his previously mentioned studio works, Mr Love is not quite different from the rests, but the click hook is, there is a desire to constantly improve, and horn above the previous studio records he’s had, and he has remonstrated it voraciously with the album Mr Love.

Although, there are few flip flops, but all the round music experience on the work is commendable.

He first of all, filled his fan in with the tip of the iceberg from the expected album with a listening party, and straight, the next day, he popped the album open for a release.

Get into this room, lets listen and review the album together. My earpiece is on my ears, my Mr Love album track list carefully arranged, are you and I, are ready for this, right?

Track one – Good Life; Skales teams up with Neza; the Rwandan born artiste gave her almost all as she sings the hook at the top of her voice on a dark syrupy sound sequence, repeating the rhythm on a subtle synth pad. This song brings an insight feeling of a continuation to The Never Say Never album, because, it bacon on being so encouraging to motivating, and to affirming confidence of moving from a bad state of life to a good life.

On Body which is the track – 2, Skales collaborate with Sarkodie again. Same thing they they did in Booty Language remix, in the The Never Say Never Guy Album, they replicate the formation. Powerful sex appealing and adoring song, which might climb the record ladder to become the most commercially appealing song off the record, this is all I want to vibe too right now, and I want you to do same.

Sarkodie was not never far from his usual－ his A-game was intact, and he delivered his sauce remarkably into the song.

Next up is One Leg Up, Skales raises the energy and tempo to a dance fill song, then he drops the energy again to a slow but very nice song in Sawa ft Diles Ailes produced by Krizbeats.

Fire Waist with Harmonize, is dancehall song that has a lot of commercial appealing element with it, Resemble your Father in the other hand, is not far from average, but the beats is encouragingly supplementing the poor input, as Skales repeats lyrics like Iwori wo, see dem dey don dey come again, see as dem dey run come again, then goes ahead to repeats gbege dey, gbege dey, gbege dey.

At track-7, which is Pass, Skales recuperate his effort with Yung L and Endia, on a Chopstix produced Afrobeat song to sing about a moment of enjoyment with ‘ganger’. Pass is better produced, delivered with synch, than Resemble Your Father.

Balance is also average, but Pile Up is way up. He features Cassper Nyovest. Both songs are produced by Chopstix, who offers dancehall beat to them. Cassper Nyovest, gave a good account of himself. The dancehall element on Pile Up will be the required pulse to take the song far.

Far from the dancehall dominated beat, Skales teams up with Phyno on Gbagbe. One would expect a power play delivery by both artistes, but, both of them came to the record with weak attitude and energy, giving out average input lyrically.

Mr. Vegas brought a better vibe to collaborate with Skales on Senrere. The energy and tempo gets up again on the Afro pop beat also produced by Chopstix. Mr Vegas sounds very close to Oritse Femi,one can even mistake his voice for him.

More ft Vanessa Mdee, and Tenie, is a great song. Better rendered, better delivered and better produced. This House music production experiment on this project should have been exploited the more. This is just my wish for the album, because of the different energy feeling it is totally bringing to the album.

Anymore ft Jody, Dapo, and Tubuma is another good song, Pressure with Tiwa will lead you to Shaku Shaku, but one would have expected more from both of them.

Fast whine, will not do bad for a club and party mix as Skales joins with Afro B, to make a dancehall song.

Skales brings the album to a close as he join forces with his Baseline record label mates, in Aramide and Saeon on the song title; No Regret to give the album a good close. The slow Afro Beat song is perfect for a quiet and resonating moment for anyone. He and Aramide, shakes the table of imperfections coming to a joint of agreement without considering incompatibilities of life, Saeon also did very well, as she rap her way to end the song with a lil bit of display of her vocal dexterity.

If there is anything to desire, Skales should team up often with his record label mate of Aramide and Saeon, there is something positively evolving in their elements, that can lead them to exploits their music strength, make powerful and productive records, and feed their fanbase with the joy of good energy with their music. We hope to see more from them soon.

On the contrary, Skales is not here to give you the music energy you demand, Skales just wants to make his music his way, achieve his career goals, and walk away. Will you agree?

However, if I was to go for the name titling of Mr Love itself, then I will be disappointed, because Skales almost did not offer no love with it, rather he gave a desiring energy to listen to him.

Skales has also somehow missed to bring the full dosage of love in this album. But that can be understandable, he has made his music, he has done his bits, all he wants is for music lovers to listen to Mr Love album, and desire him and his music, the way he is.

Just to add to her success of having a third breast, she has now landed for herself a reality show called My Third Boob. The show will center around her daily life as a woman with three boobs. But Jasmine has explained why she got a third boob:

Now like I said, normally, I am all for playing the fool in a relationship but your husband has set a bad precedent. First, he changed a joint agreement meant for your joint family in favour of his own family. Then he kicked you out of his house (as he thought it was). Then he insists you use your share of a joint decision, a decision that he reneged on, for his own benefit. Insisted on that twice ie before he knew it was in yiur name and after he knew it was in your name.

That is not good. Basically he has shown he is willing to abandon you and your kids if he “feels” like it. Sweetheart, no offense intended, but you don't have a good husband.

My advice to you and those in similar straits is
First, pray for your husband. Pray for God to change his person, to change his ways. If he claims to be a Christian, he sure as heck isn't showing Christ-like characters

Plan for your kids. Not to the exemption of your husband, but until he shows he can be different, plan to be able to live without him for your kids. I didn't say leave him. I said to be able to live without him. Different things.

Like you have been adviced, get an independent third party to mediate and see how that goes. I understand why you don't want to let your family know but it is dicey if they don't especially as he has involved his family from the beginning. I don't agree, but I understand. Maybe a compromise will be to tell your dad. Not your mum, not your sisters. Women by nature are very emotional and they can let their emotions overwhelm them. Tell your dad in confidence and ask him to keep it that way.

Finally, under no circumstances whatsoever should you add his name to that document. In mediations, the best you should do is to place the property in a trust for your children. Children! Not you, not him, not Mr and Mrs. Put it in the names of ALL your kids with a caveat that it cannot be sold by any one until all kids are above 18 years old.

Most of all, seek mediation and pray a lot for him.

My own advice.

this is the best advice I have read here. man with ego that's ready to leave his family because he didn't own the house? is that a good man?

best thing change it to the kids if he isn't having it. let him go to his family and stay with them since the support him. thank God you are a career woman.

Senator Shehu Sani reportedly declared his intention to contest against Governor El-Rufai in the 2019 gubernatorial election

The senator, however, stated one reason he may change his plan to contest against the incumbent governor

Senator Shehu Sani, representing Kaduna central senatorial district has declared his intention to contest against the incumbent governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, in the forthcoming 2019 governorship election in the state. Sani also allegedly hinted of his intention to quit the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). The outspoken senator allegedly said he and many others, who were reportedly maltreated by the APC, are presently at the departure lounge of the party, The Sun reports.

Sani allegedly said the ruling APC, as it is, today, stands on a foundation of injustice against its members, adding that the party has failed to live up to its promises and pledges of a transparent internal democracy. “We condemned the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the past for not being fair and just to its members, but the APC has found itself in similar, if not worst situation, as at today.”

The senator reportedly said he and other party members will not tolerate or condone injustices, adding that if solutions to the identified challenges in the APC are not taken care of in the coming weeks, there will be no going back on their decision to leave the party for good.

Addressing journalists who paid him Sallah homage in Kaduna, the senator also reportedly said he will be contesting the governorship of the state, unless the Kaduna political stakeholders, which he is a member, decide otherwise.

“There is a Kaduna political stakeholders, made up of former governors, lawmakers and various party chieftains, and, as a team player, I am a member. I am going to contest the governor of Kaduna state, but, if the stakeholders insist on me going back to the Senate, I will have no objection, whatsoever. “Nigerians are now more resolved and conscious to vote for people of integrity who will work for them, hence, I have the confidence of winning my election in whatever party I contest, because people will vote individuals based on merit, and not the party, in the 2019 general elections.

The latest bad news from Ondo is the gang-rape of two girls by five men who also videotaped the crime scene and posted it on social media to further debase their victims.

The alleged rapists are identified as Olabanji Femi, Abiodun Ayodele, Fadairo Wahab, Bode Akinsiku and Adedayo Adebayo.

The suspects, now in prison custody, tortured the girls before they were gang-raped and mindlessly invited some other men to have sex with the girls.

However, Notable personalities in the town, including the Osemawe of Ondo, Oba Victor Kiladejo, have condemned the act while traditionalists in the town rose to appease the gods of the land for the abomination.

Police sources said the suspects, during interrogation, alleged that the girls stole from one of them after they were invited for a party.

As a punishment, the suspects were said to have decided to torture, gang- rape and videotape the scene and posted the recording on the social media. Meanwhile, according to the sources, the girls denied the allegation of theft levelled against them by the suspects.

Four girls had been reportedly lured to a party at the residence of one of the suspects. All of the four turned up but two sensed danger and left almost immediately.

In a statement to the police, the victims denied stealing from any of the suspects, saying they were invited to a party organised by the daughter of one of the suspects and that, on getting there, they discovered that it was a trap to get back at them for turning down sexual advances from members of a group in the town.

One of them disclosed that after the five men took turns to rape them, they invited their friends by phone to come and “eat free meal”.

According to her, the suspects accused them of refusing the sexual advances of their group members while sleeping with less important group members in the town hence the need to disgrace them by posting the recording on the social media.

The victims said they could barely walk thereafter because of what the suspects did to them, pointing out that they were equally flogged and tortured.

Some enthusiast will hold a contrast brief and belief that copying and tweaking ideas Is no way near creativity. It is born out of sheer shear-lock laziness.

Why then do artistes copy from original;

Have you ever come across this quote “Good artists copy, great artists steal”?

In simple terms, this means that; a good artist simply copies another person’s art, while a great artist selectively takes or steals elements from other artists or sources and then collaborates them in a creative manner that makes the art completely unique.

Did you also know that even if you have something really creative in your head, maybe a piece of rap lyrics, pop vocals and a mad hook, either you were inspired and influenced by something that has the original content, maybe another artists song, or album or record, or someone has probably had the same idea ages ago? You better know that truth now.

There is a theory that proves inception of art. How, where and when it was formed, what it has inspired, how it has inspired and who it has inspired to come out with something mixed and mashed with contemporary culture of the now producing a masterpiece of art. This is a subject on it own, it will require me to write an editorial of at list five episodes, so I can dissect the answers to the query, and a further prove over it to what i want to achieve. But, it is Falz, we are honing for today, so lets stick to our divide for now.

A Kogi court has granted a N10 million bail to Dino Melaye.

Mr Melaye, who represents Kogi west at the senate, was given bail by Justice Nasiru Ajanah.

The senator was arraigned for alleged gun-running.

He faces separate charges in Abuja, bordering on giving false information, offences he denied committing.

For the Abuja case, Justice Olasumbo Goodluck of FCT High Court, Maitama, on Wednesday adjourned until May 17 for Mr Melaye’s lawyer to explain why his client was not in court.
