The soldiers are even more corrupt and they are not setting any system straight, they have brought war to their own country and it has nothing to do with ecowas, it will be between Russia backed soldiers and France backed rebels.

The soldiers have no support compared to Bazoum and that's why they didn't win the elections.
Pierocash:
Mtcheew! Ecowas sponsored protest.

Though the coup is condemnable. But sometimes, situations of this nature is needed to reset a corrupt system

They also started raising Russian flags immediately and then say they don't want outside influence in Africa, I must have missed the geography class that taught about Russia being in the continent of Africa.
adebayo987:
We know it's a politically motivated coup. Once the junta said they did the coup to save Nigeria, I knew it was a sentimental coup and not for national interest.

Emefiele or elemi efele is the one responsible for wiping out Nigeria's Foreign Reserve and screwing your life up

If Obi does not forget it, who is going to hand him even a dead Nigeria?

You already know that Peter Obi has no chance in this life and another life to be president of Nigeria no matter what.

Truth hurts

Sorry bro,all agbado defenders and fullbacks and CDM have all left the WhatsApp group chat as usual,I have been saying this before, obi should forget about this country,it is gone, and it will be on record that yorubas and hausas destroyed this country,I laugh when they say igbos will.never rule this country,it's not a curse,it's actually a blessing that we never ruled, posterity will remember us I'm good faith for that

Programmed zombies have frothed this thread to death with their epileptic saliva due to frustration in their lives.

This is an indictment on all of you zombies who are too dumb to source information on your own. I have said it here that the foreign reserves is depleted and the excess crude account is empty. You people are too braindead to know that the information on CBN website hasn't been updated by a 2 months old administration which cabinet is just taking shape and all the numbers will take time to come in.

Why would president Tinubu meet $3 billion and claim he met $33 billion and how is he going to find the rest of the $30 billion? But because hate has replaced all your eyeballs you can't see or hear anything else.

How convenient that no one mentioned Emefiele who is responsible for all of these?

Even if Nigeria gets better you people who made the first 8 comments and those of you who like them will continue to struggle, you will never make any headway because nature demands truth and honesty but all you will attract in your miserable lives are lies and deceits, since that's what you put out!

Liar!
Find something else to say!
Penguin2:
When we were campaigning against these cows under Buhari, Tinubu supporters called us wailers and IPOB and said cows were free to roam around wherever they liked.

I wonder what they will say now that their personal lord and savoiur has said there will no more be cow grazing in Abuja?

Will open grazing now be bad like we have been campaigning since Buhari period?

You lied, igbos did not leave Nigeria. You don't want out of Nigeria, you can't and will not leave unless you are forced out because of the free money your deadbeat ass is getting and how you need a large area to commit your crimes.
Idiko1:
The above crap is one of the reasons Nigeria should be disintegrated. Ndigbo and Biafrans wanted out of the shithole called Nigeria in 1967 yet the jackasses from northern and western regions precipitated a war of attrition against them.

Politics › Is It A Back To 60's Dog Whistle by wowcatty(op):
While 1960 - 1966 was the golden era of nations in Nigeria with every region in control of its resources and we thived. It was also 2 vs 1 against Yoruba with all kinds of schemes and plots against Awolowo. The greed of one of the regions led to the military coup which is the foundation of what we have today.

Now watch 5 minutes of this video and make me understand what this Fulani or Hausa man is calling on NW,NC&SE regions to deliver on. According to him president Tinubu has taken over FIRS, Nigeria custom and Port authority and Maritime authority in less than 2 months, as if those agencies are their inheritance. He also said that they "are praying that this administration cabinet is the most short-lived cabinet in history"

Yoruba say "ki gbogbo soro-soro ranti eni to mo gbo"

@15 mins mark

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKBDqx8nPUw

In the same video you will find a book being launched and I strongly believe that it's been fronted for Obasanjo who has always been on the side of Yoruba's enemies, and the name of the book is "Taking back " which was rushed through the publisher as soon as president Tinubu won. Obasanjo knows that if Nigeria divides, he will be homeless and he knows that president Tinubu is the closest Nigeria will ever get to that, so he's trying to save himself.
Politics › Re: Cry Babies Of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria by wowcatty: 6:46am On Aug 20, 2023
See as they have kept quiet now that Asari Dokubo has offered to help them get their biafra and they know that president Tinubu will actually support them.
plaindealer:
Achebe's last words before his death detailed their hatred and anti Yoruba bitterness.

Why the hatred? There's absolutely no reason for it, but they are just genetically predisposed to hatred, bitterness, paranoia, tribalism, self destruction and anti social behavior.

Their problem is not a Yoruba problem, it's strictly Igbo problem, they hate themselves the same way they hate Yoruba people.

If you give them biafra today, warlords and terrorists will devide the whole region with wholesale violence, killings, headings, kidnappings and the rest of the population will migrate to other parts of Nigeria...

And the fact that they don't have sensible and right thinking adults makes it worse.

It's really sad.
Business › Re: CBN Lifts Ban On BDCs, Introduces New Operational Mechanism by wowcatty: 6:41am On Aug 20, 2023
This is where enforcement should come in, secret shoppers and a special task force arresting people without licenses and revoking licenses of those who don't go by the regulations. Also the sensitization of the general public will go a long way.
Rich4god:
Lol....

I just dey laff this CBN, they don't know how these BDCs guys operate. No amount of regulation can keep them in check as there are too many of them who are unregistered and they will be the ones that will make this policy not to work.

Reintro of BDC means CBN will be giving them dollar to sell to the public and there is no way CBN will be able to regulate them.

It was just this morning I was thinking how our leaders messed up by allowing us to join Nigeria and have since failed to remove Yoruba from this lawless country. The only thing Yoruba need to do now is to leave Nigeria. We can't move forward with people who see even our language as a threat to them.
Putinofrussia:
Me I tire o.
That is how it has been since Nigeria was created and Igbos ancestors saw the greatness of the Yoruba race.
The jealousy, hatred, pull him down is still there till today after all what Yorubas have done for the Igbos.

Foreign Affairs › Re: We Are Ready To Storm Niger - ECOWAS Force by wowcatty: 2:27am On Aug 18, 2023
The sanctions are enough and it's already biting hard with about 50% implemented. It will be more effective if 100% enforced, the people themselves will rise against the soldiers.
Wodu89:
I stand with ECOWAS.

Leadership is about decisiveness. Bazoum was outsed by the outschosts simply because he wasn't Hausa and to them anything short of their clannishness is a misfit for them to submit to. This ideology must not only be challenged but defeated.

This doesn't concern Russia nor external parties. Let them face Syria and Ukraine fronts. Democracy must be restored whether the hypocritical Northern leaders like it or not.

Where were they when Liberia was invaded, Sierria Leone and co. But because some ethnic coloration is in the mix they're playing hypocrisy. It is the junta that needs talking to, not ECOWAS. ECOWAS must invade and restore democracy regardless of the costs

Unless Eastern powers gets in the way , the use of force is necessary otherwise long term grippling sanctions should be employed.
