Right!
The only reason this happened to him is because he’s a Yoruba.
Yoruba are the only people this can happen to in Nigeria.
ajailer:
Wow, truth be told, I never saw it from this angle. Unfortunately for Kwam1, I have been having issues with his conduct, but now I must admit that I overlooked the fact that he is just a human with so many imperfections. I should never have judged a man that God has decided to bless.

If this was to happen to an Igbo person, I know how defensive they would all have been no matter the offence.

We Yorubas are just too docile, a people surrounded by frienemies.
Politics › Re: K1: It’s All In The Politics. by wowcatty(op): 2:46am On Aug 09, 2025
Right!
The only way out is to start shunning unpatriotic Yoruba, with time they will get the memo. One thing I realized though is that 99% of the people who don’t stand with Yoruba when the going gets tough have a mother tongue that’s not Yoruba. They speak Yoruba too, but their mom’s language, culture and ideas are the values they’re raised with, though some of us wrongly see them as Yoruba, but they’re on a mission and see we Ojulowo Yoruba as outsiders. Nairaland won’t let us go deep in that area.
PDPdestroyer:
I knew all these the moment I saw the interest of the OP that kept bringing updates of incident. He’s a known Tinubu/Yoruba hater, so I immediately knew it all had a political dimension to it.
My only issue is with the liberal/docile Yorubas who can’t see the bigger picture
Politics › Re: K1: It’s All In The Politics. by wowcatty(op): 1:34am On Aug 09, 2025
Exactly!
seunmsg:
It is so obvious I spotted it on day one. That a lot of people can’t see the political dimension is so surprising.

Beyond the politics, K1 is a living legend that must be protected. He’s surely arrogant and proud but that’s human nature. Is there any one that is perfect?

We celebrate Fela till today but was he perfect? Was his lifestyle exemplary? Can anybody confidently wish for their children to be exactly like Fela?
Politics › K1: It’s All In The Politics. by wowcatty(op):
I wouldn’t have apologized, though I know why he did. It was an unnecessary distraction for president Tinubu who is actually the reason this happened to Kwam1 in the first place. My family is surprised I’m defending him cos I don’t really like him, but I’m all for fairness. Apc “loyalists” have no idea the kind of politics that’s being cooked for them, they’re not reading rooms, situations and things around them. K1 should have his own private jet now and I expect him to unveil one, it’s time. How many times has K1 travelled same way in the same condition without being disrespected? The politics of hate that’s being played right now is going to get a lot of not so smart people in the political crosshairs. They can’t get close to president Tinubu, so they will target the people they consider close to him. K1 just survived an assassin a few months ago(though the fake marriage ended last year)in the hand of a “wife” which I made the call 3 years ago before they “got married” that, some people are planting women in certain men’s homes for a mission. K1 did that apology cos it’s politically correct, though it closes a door, but opens another one and it’s a bad look for him and others cos they will be targeted more. Smart people prevent certain things from happening and don’t give enemies ammunitions. What he should have done as soon as he felt disrespected is, to quickly read their body languages alongside what they’re saying and just say something like “you want to stop me from boarding this plane” just to inform his fans who are around there and walk away, then go file a lawsuit against the Bolekaja. It’s all politics and I hope K1 and others who are targets have learned their lesson not to give these people weapons again. Expect more of this but Yoruba Apc must be guided, we’re already a low hanging fruit. President Tinubu is the only president that met Nigeria broke, comatose and doing his best to revive the economy, but still the most disrespected and abused because the evil that holds Nigeria is scared that he will remove Yorubaland from Nigeria and if that happens, Nigeria is dead. That’s it y’all, so expect them to go to hell and back just to stop him. If you’re a full blooded Yoruba, you should be supporting your own cos others are supporting theirs at all cost as you’re known as people who don’t support each other. Forget all the Yoruba sounding names including that of the pilot, they’re not Yoruba. Our enemies have figured out how to find one Yoruba man somewhere who is always the reason they’re claiming to be Yoruba even when all their grandmas, the other grandfather and both parents are not real Yoruba. When honest people who are mixed introduce themselves, they always say where both parents are from, they don’t claim just where one parent or grandparent is from, they say things like, I’m half this half that, but when it comes to Nigeria they claim to be Yoruba even when they’re just 6.25% Yoruba blood because it’s a weapon of mass destruction to ruin Yorubaland.

Politics › Re: South African Media Hails Nigeria's ''Resurgent Economy'' by wowcatty: 10:37pm On Aug 08, 2025
Again, the topic says South Africa and Mtn is South African.
Mtn is cashing in because the economy is booming, and if phone and internet service providers are raking in profits, it means other areas are doing better.

But of course, some will still complain of hunger in the midst of plenty.

Go and read the article again. You’ll see it’s Toriola that’s saying that. No mention of any other foreigner’s name but Toriola MTN Nigeria ceo. He’s happy he’s cashing out due to his brother’s clueless policies. He made a lot of profits just within 6 months bcs his brother in power kept quiet as he hiked call tariff and data prices and he milked Nigerians a lot. That’s why he’s hailing his brother’s govt.

My heart goes out to you.
You’re so young, how did you contract it?

As one who consider myself as a “saved by Grace” after having more than my own fair share of being out there, I know there are other ways to be infected, but most people get it through unprotected sex.

If you’re not bitter with the society and want to help others by becoming an advocate for its prevention, you will have more money than you need for medication as people will donate to the cause.

Also, I believe there’s a cure for it alongside cancer that’s being hidden cos the big pharma wants to make as much money as possible from the medication, but Trump will expose it as time goes.
Politics › Re: Police Break Sowore’s Hand, Move Him To Undisclosed Location - SaharaReporters by wowcatty: 6:18pm On Aug 08, 2025
Sowore thinks he can bully and terrorise this govt to no end under the guise of activism, no it doesn’t work like that.
Even activists have rules they must follow, and the moment they operate outside that, they become enemies of the state. You also lose your rights to protest if it goes violent cos that is now riot, and that’s not acceptable anywhere in the world. So if Sowore likes let him kill himself for the politicians, it’s his problem.

Charly boy is not being petty, childish or any of the words used to describe him here, he’s a criminal.
If he can tell this boldface lie in public, what is he doing in private?

A man who could owe years of rent and holding another person’s sweat, you all know he’s a nasty person.
Politics › Re: South African Media Hails Nigeria's ''Resurgent Economy'' by wowcatty: 9:19am On Aug 08, 2025
They’ve been using speculation and words of mouth to destroy Nigeria’s economy, but because we have a great commander in chief who is tried and tested, Nigeria is standing. Things are so cheap in Nigeria more than all the neighboring countries. I found out recently that $100 = N150k can buy a medium sheep in Nigeria, but you need $300 = Ghc 3,000 to get the same size in Ghana. The cheapest indomie is also around Ghc 250 = $25 which can get about 3 in Nigeria. It’s like the costs are 3 times more expensive in Ghana than Nigeria, but you will never see Ghanaians insulting their president and make their countries look like a hellhole.

Politics › Re: South African Media Hails Nigeria's ''Resurgent Economy'' by wowcatty: 9:02am On Aug 08, 2025
When people can afford to still spend so much money on overpriced service, it means the economy is doing great. Mtn is not the only service provider, some are even cheaper, but people are still paying more money for it

This is why other African countries don’t want them in their countries. They wonder how people can be this hateful towards their own countries and don’t want them to bring the chaos to their land.
lapintoz:
True Nigerians will applaud this sooting news. But online bitter leaf warlords and coalition bandits will still be shouting hunger. Even with their treasury looted pot belly and Richard Mille watches.
Politics › Re: South African Media Hails Nigeria's ''Resurgent Economy'' by wowcatty:
Again the topic says “South African media” and mtn belongs to South Africa.
If president Tinubu is not writing mtn checks, then the economy must be doing well for them to post that much profits. The last time I checked, mtn is not in tomatoes and fish business that you can say it’s because people have to eat, and there are other companies including a local one that people can use but went for mtn. Again, the economy must be really good for mtn to make profit even after they increase the cost of their service. Being brothers won’t balance the budget, but everyone loves a booming economy. Of course, people whose fathers couldn’t afford a bicycle when it was N10 will have a problem with a good economy, because they need a bad economy as an excuse for why they can’t get anything done in their lives.

Wole Soyinka has nothing to do with cultism, what he founded was fraternity that is done all over the university world. Hazing was the only problem and was stopped. I have two family members in two different fraternities and their fraternity brothers are always there for each other. There has never been violence of any kind.

So fraternity and cultism are two different things.
Fraternity is still a thing of pride that opens doors of opportunities, but because of the evil in an average Nigerian, you chose a useless killing club.

Things are more expensive in Ghana, but you will never see Ghanaians destroy the country with their mouths because they know things are hard everywhere right now and will change with time.

Why is it that it’s the foreigners that are happy but Nigerians are not? Is Tinubu the president of foreigners or the president of Nigeria? Use your brain. Why are you celebrating the extortion and over taxation of your people as an achievement? Shame on you people!!!!!

If you were not trying to tell the world that Nigeria is a jungle where murders at the tarmacs are how disagreements are settled, you would have known that security should have been involved in a situation like that and get the whole thing sorted. Flights delayed all the time and don’t end the world.
LordBillionz:
This is the arrogance that Jaapu and his ilk support.

Man was literally being begged to leave the tarmac and he even dared to stand on the plane. The pilot had to stop at a time he stood at the front to stop the plane from leaving.

This noise maker that calls himself a musician wasn't the only one on the plane. There might be more important personalities who were on the plane and were being delayed by his unruly behaviour.

The pilot did the right thing by moving.

The six months ban isn't enough. He should be banned for like 2 years or more.

Again, it’s all freewill. Let’s talk about the ones that are close to home like bokoharam or Ipob, they’re the makings of the victims. The “north” and east can stamp out these groups if they want, but they like the way things are with the groups. Greed is what make people travel to Libya when they can use the money to sell something in Nigeria?

You made one good point but the rest you can throw it in the bin. This world is crime and punishment. And the number of people requiring punishment is over 90 percent hence the current state of the world is what it looks like when over 90 percent of the people need to be roasted for past life crimes. We have mass murder in Ukraine, mass murder in Israel and Gaza, boko haram, iPod, fulani herdsman, poverty, millions dying in the desert in Libya trying to enter Europe, millions dying in the ocean from trying to cross into Europe, the favelas of Brazil, the ghettos of america, the kleptocrats of Nigeria etc etc. this is all punishment. Politics › Re: Why Tinubu Can Never Be Defeated By A Human Being by wowcatty:
While this your post seems like a dog whistle and I don’t usually reply to post that’s not on the front page, I just had to respond to this cos of the topic.

First of all, the only reason no human can defeat president Tinubu is because he has the anointing for a specific assignment of setting the captive free, and that’s the only purpose I think God put him there. Nigerians especially Yoruba have been in captivity since 1966 when our freedom was completely taken away. We’re human too and deserve self-determination to live our own way and not under an occupying force that Nigeria has been to us. President Tinubu hasn’t increased affliction, Nigeria was already on a slippery slope and headed to a disaster and you sometimes just have to take a step back to move forward. Nigeria will NEVER work as it is, it wasn’t made to work, it was just an experiment that turned to a fraud. People like president Tinubu is an opportunity of a lifetime and that’s why he’s fighting the kind of forces his predecessors never had to deal with. Only freedom loving Nigerians who recognize that Nigeria is a slave warehouse and want out will appreciate what president Tinubu stands for. I love what president Tinubu is doing right now, but I will only consider his govt successful if he returns Nigeria back to regional govt and to the 1963 constitution that we all agreed on. Nigeria has been at war since 1966, only that we have hot and cold periods depending on the politics of the season. We can do better than this military decree that was put out by a section of the country and called “1999 constitution” to suppress others, let us go back to what worked for us. I believe that president Tinubu was raised up to set us free from the bondage of Nigeria.

Second of, God is just, holy, pure and hasn’t created someone he can’t hold accountable. Bad things happen because they’re baked in freewill & free agency. The world is created for equality, your choices in life determine where you land and if you can be sent on a special mission. God created all of us to be comfortable and some of us are when we start making right choices, it just depends on what you consider “comfortable” and how to position yourself to receive and keep it. If you do the right thing 95% of the time, you will never suffer more than you can handle. If you live in sin, then don’t expect the blessings of God to find you. A few people of the world are greedy and take what should go round a lot of people because the poor also help the rich steal more. If you don’t respect money more than good character or wealthy individuals over those with integrity as a poor man, and treat rich and poor he same, there will be no rush for money and you will be comfortable. I still believe that if you’re an honest and kind, you will be comfortable in life. Doing the right thing is all we need to be comfortable, the ability God has given to all of us. Prison planet is just in your head, we human determine where we’re placed with our lifestyles when we start to make our own decisions in life.
HEAVEN4444:
First of all let me say that many people have the wrong idea of what the world is about or the idea of equity or equality. The world is not created for equality and neither is it created for everybody. Most of you are just here to suffer. The world and the spoils therein are created for only a few men. All the spoils belong to them. This is how God created it. So when you see all these men ruling just sharing money among themselves, that's how it's created to be. These are the great men in the earth to whom all the spoils belong and if God deems you worthy he will put it in their spirit to share the spoils with you and so men like tinubu are one of these great men in the earth to whom the spoils have been given to. And so when you see me like these you may in your unenlightened mind think God is unaware or divorced from the whole setup. You may not understand the concept of a prison planet, a sort of purgatory where souls are cleansed in suffering and affliction . And so the other day I had a dream and in it was Tinubu And he was in some form of zombie apocalypse kind of trance and his eyes were dead hollow blackness and then he turned and looked at the sun and his eyes locked into the Sun. Then I woke up. And that was the universe way of saying tinubu is a pawn in the hands of God. He is carrying out the mandates of the universe and the gods and the ancestors. He is guided by all the unseen forces of the universe. And that is how a tiny frail man can have you all spellbound. Because God has you spellbound. And believe it or not but no human being born of woman can get that man out of power until God says his mission is complete . The mission is unclear because it has increased affliction and maybe that is part of the mission.
