It’s not a funny matter, that’s the only solution. Eko Atlantic and Banana island can have flash floods that recede within a short time due to the engineering heights of land reclamation and planning that those areas went through unlike the swamps that became Lekki ph1 and the rest with the pluvial flooding that can’t go into the ground because it’s a swamp and the drainage have been blocked with excessive building constructions and refuse dumps.

I don’t know who approved Lekki, but knowing how things are run in Nigeria, I won’t be surprised if it turns out that nobody approved it.

I don’t defend nonsense either, but the truth has to be told somehow. And the man can’t keep quiet, people want to hear from him even if they don’t like what he has to say. Nothing can be done to make swamp habitable , concrete will sink, it’s just a matter of time. Even wood homes settle and crack on dry land if they’re not well built.

Abuja is a new city, it’s not a coastal area or over-built and congested. So what works there can’t work in Lagos swamps. To ease the problem in that Lekki axis, a lot of buildings will have to be pulled down and I don’t think the govt has money and time for that now. The area looks like a concrete jungle and the only way is demolition, but for now people can do what they’ve been doing to deal with the water.

There’s nothing govt can do, living in swamps is non sustainable, Lagos can not hold that many people. Houses will need to be demolished. The people are the problem, if govt drives them away, you will say they’re mean, people will have to leave on their own.

There’s nothing govt can do in an overbuilt and congested swamps than to drive people away from there, which you would still be against. They’re not supposed to be there in the first place. Just because there are open available swamp does not mean you have to build on them, swamps are not meant for home constructions, they’re meant to be bare land.

These info is either very criminal or naive, it all depends on where you’re from and your interests. There’s no such thing as being one tribe by tribe and being another tribe by culture. Yoruba are a tribe and that tribe gave birth to our culture. Bukola Saraki is 25% Yoruba at best and that’s a statement of fact.

Town Fulani are the guys that are.fulani but don't go roaming around with cows..they are the fulanis you meet in education, the workplace , the army and so forth. Some of them are so integrated where they live that they even speak the local languages and assimilate the culture. Saraki is a Fulani by tribe, but a yourbaman by culture. Late buhari was Fulani by tribe and Hausa by culture.And some even convert to Christianity self.

Cattle fulanis are the ones who roam around with cows and do a bit of farming and hunting on the side. They may come to town on market days to sell things like fura for example. Mostly Muslim, but some of them are traditionalists ie worship the gods. There was even one subgroup that even refused to become Muslim or christian at all.( Those ones don't live in Nigeria)
