Why is it that at any given time at least 3 or 4 out of 6 governors of Yorubaland are not Yoruba?
I know it’s by design, but how is it ok with us?
Whose idea is it that Yoruba states will not have governors that are born of Yoruba and raised Yoruba?

I’m just going to scratch this on the surface so it’s not taken down.

A Croatian once said that it was easy for his country to stand when Yugoslavia fell because they were already a security unit and all they had to do was put on a military uniform. It’s just unfortunate that Yoruba no longer have leaders and Obas, president Tinubu is all we have and my heart goes out to him, I pray he succeeds.

I gave up on Amotekun when they launched and in the first 3 months all we heard about them was killing around 4 or 5 Yoruba in Oyo without arresting a single bandit, kidnapper or herdsmen that they claimed were the reason they formed. Then I found out that Makinde had something to do with it, which makes sense for him to put basically anyone from any part of Nigeria in it to reflect his own identity as one whose most important interests have to be between his mother’s tribe and his wife’s tribe, with Yoruba’s interest coming at distant 3rd if any at all. This is a security outfit that could be quickly turned to state police or even an army if needed, but ones it’s ridden with people whose loyalty are divided and can tell the enemy how to get you like some Nigerian soldiers are sneaking weapons to bokoharam, then it’s back to hell all over again.

Are Yoruba going to pay attention to members of their security groups, from vigilantes to security guards now that it’s going to be a step away from state police by removing the ‘Adan’ from among them for real safety, protection and peace of mind or they will apply the usual tone deaf attitude?

There are people waiting for crumbs all over the world, so what new?

Inec wasn’t created by president Tinubu, the body has and will always have their own favorite politician. We have seen Inec’s staff under previous administrations finger stamped ballots like a money counter, so spare us the outrage even if it was put there to support Apc.

President Tinubu’s photo is featured wherever Nigeria is mentioned negatively and I won’t be surprised that the banner just to get the reaction we’re seeing now. Justice to you can be injustice to others, and the fact that you don’t believe curses work on evil people shows you don’t really have a sense of justice to begin with, and you seems like one who is on the side of injustice. Also, the politicians are better than most Nigerians who get away with much more than the politicians.
